I bought my Aria scale to pair with my Fitbit Charge HR. I love the minimalistic and modern design. Setup to add it to my home wifi network took less than 5 minutes and I haven't had any issues with it after a month of use. It has a bright, clear easy-to-read screen. It calculates and displays my weight and body fat percentage in under 10 seconds and then keeps me updated with its sync progress. I chose white over black and I'm very happy with how well it matches and blends in with my bathroom!

At a $129.99 average price, the Aria seems very pricey just as a standalone smart weight scale, but it delivers the goods in tracking your weight/BMI/body progress. I'm giving it a five star rating despite the price. My Aria is being used in conjuction with my Surge activity tracker/watch. Setup of the Aria for me through the iPhone Fitbit app was very easy and the plus? You can assign a cool nickname it. As for the accuracy of the scale, I found a .5lb difference lower compared to my 10 year old Target purchase non-integrated smart scale. I can't comment as to the accuracy of the Aria because I have a limited comparison to current tech that's out there. But I am satisfied that I am getting a 97% view of my weight management program as a very active Road Cyclist hobbiest. Overall, if you can and are willing to pay the slightly high price point, you'll enjoy integrating the Aria with any Fitbit activity tracker you own.

The scale is great for tracking on line by Fitbit. I'm looking for a scale that reveals tracking other than weight on the scale.

Received this product for Christmas an it's the best gift I received. The Fitbit scale along with the mobile app for Android or iPhone mobile devices helps me stay on track towards a healthy new lifestyle thanks to fit my new fitbit scale. I can't wait until flex comes out this spring asI'm buying one for everyone in the family. Keep making great products.

I got the scale in black and it's very nice looking; sleek with substantial glass and nice smooth edges. I had some trouble setting it up which didn't come as a surprise because the Best Buy Associate who assisted me told me it wouldn't be easy. You have to go through quite a process to get it connected and get your profile setup but once you're through all that (took about 20 min), it's smooth sailing. The scale has been accurate and it's very easy to use. You step on it and it displays your weight and then your body fat percentage and then your initials. It then displays everything again before syncing up with your phone. Once it's all synced, it give you a check mark to let you know. You can delete a weigh in from the website or app if you don't like the reading that day. It's pretty cool and worth the annoying setup process.

I've had the Fitbit aria wifi smart scale for a few months now and I really like it . It syncs automatically with my Fitbit charge HR and helps me continue working towards my goal. The black scale looks great and I like that I can add other people so they can sync to their Fitbit accounts too. I looked at other smart scales and the aria surpassed all others.

Like many buyers of this scale, I've recently taken the Fitbit plunge and wanted to include this scale to track easily weight and body fat fluctuations. Visually, the scale is very impressive. I got the black version, and it is thin, sleek, and substantial (footprint, heft). The glass is perfectly smooth; edge beveled, and the weigh-in process (step on to step off) is done in less than 5 seconds. Aesthetically as well as fit, feel, and finish, this is a 5-star product. Functionally, there are a few problems. First, connecting the scale can be a challenge. The process includes broadcasting the ID of the scale, connecting to this "WiFi network" on the phone and then switching the network of the phone back to your personal WiFi network. It took me several tries but eventually it worked and had worked flawlessly since. Unfortunately, I've forgotten the exact problem I experienced but I do recall having to switch networks while my phone displayed a web page that was reading "connecting". Anyway - see this page: [...] if you run into trouble. In contrast to this setup process, all other scale settings (users and their profiles) are very easy to setup once the scale is working correctly with the network. Additionally, I have not had any issues with connectivity once the scale was set up correctly the first time. Secondly, the scale must be used on a hard surface. In our bathroom, a rug sometimes slips slightly under the edge of scale and can throw off the reading. If this happens, my reading can be confused with my wife's and the scale can start to get confused. Fortunately, all the readings are stored online, and the erroneous readings can be easily removed from the website. If the scale is free from the rug, it never confuses my wife and my readings. Finally, the body-fat reading is precise but probably not accurate. By default, the scale is set to regular for a user and read my body fat read ~12.5%. After I had switched to "slim" body type, the reading dropped to ~6%. Using a handheld body fat tester, I'm around 8-9%. The good thing is that this reading, like the weight, is very repeatable. Also, it is clearly independent of the weight measurement. For example if you drink a bunch of water and wait ten mins, your weight will be up but you body fat reading may fall. Of course, what's happening is that the scale is only measuring an electrical signal and then converting this to a % body fat. Ideally, the Fitbit site would let you input your exact body fat number (taken with a vibrational or displacement measurement) at a point in time and this number could be used to calibrate the electrical to % body fat conversion. To my knowledge, no consumer scale allows this calibration to be done today. To me, it's not a huge issue as the body fat is consistent and a useful metric as I increase my lifting and muscle mass. This leads to perhaps the greatest strength of this device; statistics. Many folks roll their eyes when you tell them that your scale uploads your weight to the cloud. However, body weight fluctuates throughout the day and week. With this scale, I've found myself weighing myself several times per day and looking at my data over a week or month, clear trend lines can be seen despite the daily fluctuations. Ultimately, this is the reason that I bought the scale and made me euphoric. I held off on rating this scale until I had used it for several weeks. Initially, (after the setup headaches) I would have leaned towards three stars. During the first 1-2 weeks, my frustrations with body fat settings and trouble with the rug in our bathroom, I would have probably gone with four stars. However, understanding these issues and more importantly, seeing the benefits of frequent weight measurements, I could not be happier with the purchase. I strongly recommend that anybody happy with their Fitbit and serious about achieving their weight loss goals, take a good look at this high-quality product. UPDATE: I still have the scale, and it is working great. I get about six months or so between battery changes, and it was pretty painless moving to a new place with a different network setup (even though I had completely forgotten the installation process). Overall, the Aria Scale is proving to be very easy to stick with. I cannot think of what else could obsolete this device anytime soon, so I anticipate many more years of use.

My wife and I both have Fitbit Charge HR, so we had been looking at this scale for a while now. The connection to our Fitbit accounts makes weighing ourselves a whole lot easier as it automatically logs the weight and bodyfat percentage right to our dashboard (especially helpful since I have contacts and can hardly read the scale in the morning without them in). Initial setup was a breeze, and day to day use is easy as well (my wife has gone from weighing herself once or twice a week to weighing herself every morning because of how convenient this is). It's a bonus that the scale also happens to look good too. Definitely a worthwhile investment for those with Fitbit accounts.

I have a fitbit one, so when I saw that my fitbit was really motivating me to go and be more active I thought its time for me to actually see how its helping me lose weight. Although its little pricey, but the way it all synchs together is great and makes your life really really easy. Now I have everything in one app. Love both the products.

Love the look of the scale - black is very sleek and shiny. Love the wi-fi and that it sinks with my online Fitbit dashboard. Super cool that it can tell the difference between multiple users. Those pluses push up the price and that is the only thing I ding this scale for...otherwise great!

I am enjoying this scale very much. It is easy to set up and if you are one of the many people that lives within the fitbit ecosystem this makes keeping track of your health and progress very easy. The scale looks good and works very well. It is consistent every time it is used.

When you have low expectations, it's easy to surpass them. That said, the scale works much better than our old one. It seems to be far more accurate than the usual analog scales though I'm curious as to how it's accurately measuring BMI. My weight can fluctuate a few pounds a week and sometimes my weight can go up a pound and my BMI will go down and sometimes my weight can decrease but my BMI increase. That's interesting given that my height doesn't change, so this is slightly inaccurate or it uses a very secret algorithm. Regardless, I love how it interacts with my Fitbit, creates a picture of you (go quantified self!) over time, and you can course correct easily. Others mentioned that it was difficult to set up but I found no issues whatsoever. Easy set up and can even distinguish between members of the family. I'd definitely recommend this. Good luck.

This scale was easy to set up and sync to my fitbit account. It is accurate. I love the way that all I have to do is stand on it and the information in logged into my fitbit. I read reviews that said the setup was difficult but I had no trouble at all. For a scale it is very nice looking.
