After looking & reading about all the different fitness trackers. Fitbit Charge 2 meets all my needs. Not only does it track footsteps, it tracks your sleep patterns-sleeping vs wakefulness & heartbeat.

The Fitbit Charge HR 2 is an amazing tool to have in your fitness arsenal. It does a great job at tracking your steps, miles, and heart rate. But even more importantly, it helps to motivate you to walk throughout the day, by notifying you if you haven't walked a number of steps in a given hour. It also displays a rewarding graphic when you meet your daily goal. It's light and not too big. The battery lasts for about 4 days usually, and the glass is pretty scratch resistant. Fitbit also syncs with a lot of other fitness apps. Overall a great product!

The main reason I purchase this product is because I wanted a quality activity tracker that had some "smart" functions without being a full smart watch. This device is exactly that. The heart rate monitor seems to be relatively accurate. Step and activity tracking is also very accurate. This device functions best when connected to the Fitbit app as it adds GPS tracking, calorie counting, activity logs, battery level, and sleep summary. I love the app. For a general user, the app is very easy and functional. For the power user, you are able to input the food you eat throughout the day (the app includes a bar code scanner for easy input). It also allows you to add in untracked activities like stationary bike riding and things like that. The sleep log gives you a very good indication as to how well you slept the previous night. You can set reminders to help you keep moving throughout the day. The quality of the band and face is very nice. The device sits nicely on the wrist and has a slim profile so I don't end up bumping it on everything. It is easy to read and displays the information on the screen in an easy to read format. At first I was getting about 5 days on battery, but then I started charging it every day while I was in the shower since I have to take it off anyway. Doing this I found that I never need to take the device off to charge it otherwise. So far I am extremely happy with this product. In the near future I will be purchasing different color bands so I can dress it up a little more for formal occasions and just to give it a different look from time to time. If you are looking for an advanced activity tracker that is supported with a very functional app, you can't go wrong with this Fitbit. Highly recommend.

The Charge 2 has been an awesome tool in helping me track the non-scale victories while I'm focusing on fitness and diet. If you are like me and like to see instant gratification with the lifestyle changes you make, I recommend getting this unit. It's like an accountabilibuddy that can show you the hard work you put in lowered your resting heart rate, or helped you sleep better. It's also nice to see that everyday things like cleaning the house or doing laundry add to your steps, calories burned, active minutes, fat burning, etc. I didn't realize this model went on the market the day I got it, but I'm very glad I got this one instead of one with a smaller screen or no screen at all. Now YOU go get one!! :)

The look, feel, and accuracy of this product are outstanding. I was worried that the largest band size was a large, but it fits my son perfectly who is a college football lineman. It is very sleek looking, comfortable, and accurately tracks heart rate, activity and sleep. The smartphone notifications inspire him to work harder with the real time stats, and it helps him track and reach his goals. He uses the guided breathing sessions several times a day.

I liked my old Fitbit, but the Charge 2 looks so much better and is more useful. Bigger screen, more detail on sleep patterns, and the heart rate monitor is a welcome addition.

Easy to set up. Only needs to be charged once every 3 or 4 days. Comfortable to wear. Easy to understand app for your phone and easy to login to Fitbit on your computer. Great way to track steps, calories burned, and heart rate. I bought this one for my husband. I wasn't sure he would get into it. The next thing I know, my husband is talking about the steps he walked, asking me about my steps, and we're talking about calories burned. lol, I think he's only beat me once. ;) This has been another tool that has helped us both lose weight. We're both down 50 pounds, and our Fitbits are helping us keep it off. :)

So this is actually my second time purchasing this Fitbit the first purchase was personally for me I bought the Fitbit because i needed an updated version one as well as one that I registered my HR and my current fiance started a job that required him to move a lot and I told him that this would be a great investment so I did this as a Christmas gift for him and I think he will truly enjoy it as well as I recommend this to anybody that isn't hardcore into working out but is someone who likes to keep track of their steps their heart rate and possibly their sleep it's an all-around great everyday Fitbit watch.

I am almost 70 and we all need to stay active. The charge 2 accurately tracks my steps. I changed the band to a leather band and it is easy to do. It reminds you from 9-5 to get at least 250 steps per hour. It also notifies me when I get a text from my iPhone 7. The text scrools across the screen. It also tracks your sleep and heart rate. The charge lasts for 4-5 days and completely charges in 30 minutes.

I prefer the Fitbit Charge 2 over the Alta which I lost 2 days after I had it. It has a secure wrist band that may be replaced for different colored bands. It came partially charged and takes about 2 hours for a full charge. It is easy to program once you download the Android or IOS app. It counts the steps accurately (I had my Garmin Vivofit 2 on the other wrist.) You can also track activities based on the type of exercises you are doing: workout, treadmill, cardio, climbing stairs, biking, sports, elliptical running, etc. It measures your heart rate and the number of calories burned. It may be programmed for notifications from your phone or let you know when you'rr inactive for an hour. It also tracks your sleep patterns. You can choose from 5 or more clock faces. Best part was I bought for $20 less than the regular price. The only thing I don't like is that it is water resistant. In other words no showers with it on, be careful washing your hands or getting water on it. (I could take showers or wash dishes with the Garmin Viviofit 2) The pros definitely outweighs the few cons. I strongly recommend the Fitbit Charge 2.

After a scare from the doctor, I finally decided to lose some weight. I resisted what I thought was the tracker phase, but enrolled in a program at work and needed to get one. I was impressed by the data that it collects. I can track steps, sleep, heart rate and so much more. I lost 50 pounds and give a lot of credit to this slim, easy to use tracker

    Fit Bit Charge 2 review

The Fit Bit Charge 2 was easy to setup and has worked exactly how I hoped it would. I love being able to track my sleep at night. I always thought that I often did not sleep well, and the Fit Bit confirmed that. I tracked the periods of time that I got up during my the night and in the morning the Fit Bit accounted for those times correctly. I also have had no issues with the device counting the steps I have taken. Previously I had used a Striiv for tracking steps and the Fit Bit is much more accurate, as the Striiv rarely worked at all. I love the new look and ability to change the band. The charger is far better than the last model. The screen is bigger and looks nicer. It tracks my activities without issue. I wish it was waterproof. The battery life is longer than the original model as well which means less hassle. My old Fitbit battery wouldn't hold a charge for more than 2 days so I am glad I was able to upgrade!

    Fabulous Way to Improve Health

The FitBit Charge 2 is a great tool for improving one's overall health. Not only can I continuously monitor my heart-rate, both day and night, I can also use the FitBit app to track my nutrition, water consumption, sleep (including sleep quality), and calories burned. Further, anyone who uses the FitBit can set gaols to improve health. I set goals for weight loss, sleeping more, and moving more throughout the day. Goals can be modified as needed, and badges are earned for meeting goals. The FitBit Charge 2 is perfect for those who are just starting an exercise and nutrition routine, and because it is so individualized, I imagine it would help people who just want to intensify a health routine. I am not the most tech savvy person, and I have found it fairly easy to use. During the first few days of use, I referred to the online helps frequently. As I have only been using the FitBit 2 Charge for about 2 weeks, I can't determine if it is helping me lose any weight, yet. (I set my goal at easy .5 lb a week). However, I am already moving more than I did when I started using the FitBit Charge 2, and I am eating in the "green" zone. So, I imagine I will see results in time. If you are looking for a product to help you track your health, and set goals to improve your health, I say, "Get the FitBit Charge 2!"

Best Fitness Tracker for most people

This is my first dedicated fitness tracker. I have used the Apple Watch and a couple of Samsung Gear watches and they were really great. The upside to those devices is also their downside. They do a little of everything. The Fitbit Charge 2 is a fitness tracker first. Yes, it does show you texts, calls and calendar reminders, but those are all nice little additions. The Charge 2 seems to be pretty accurate with steps and heart rate. I use it to track my daily steps, track my weight lifting workouts and my cardio workouts. All of those sync back to the Fitbit app and that is where the Fitbit really shines. I think the app is really great. I did not expect it at all, but it works really well. I don't use it for food tracking as I use MyFitnessPal, but I can sync that right back to the Fitbit app and have everything in one place to review my day and progress. The Charge 2 is very comfortable to wear and that's a good thing because the sleep tracker is one of my favorite features. I have never used one before, but I think it is very good info to have. I look to see how restless I was and compare that against my diet and how I prepared for sleep that day. I can then adjust to help improve my sleep. Overall, I recommend the Charge 2. It is a great fitness tracker with a really great app to go with it.

I like the display size. I like the fact that the bands are easy changeable. It works really good tracking steps, heart rates and sleep patterns. Battery is lasting long enough. Synchronization is fast and smooth. My Fitbit is always exposed to harsh usage/environments and so far it is doing very fine! Good tracker for what it is made for.

Love that this tracks everything, my water intake, food intake, steps taken, my heart rate, my sleep patterns. It has been a real eye opener in getting me back on track to good healthy habits. I never take it off except to charge. Oh, and I have 25 different fashion bands to wear on it so it always is a fashion accessory to my daily outfit!
