I love it, I want another one but this watch will not stop work or break, well the band broke once. I use it to track my sleep and steps since I bought this I have lost 50 lbs and my resting heart has dropped to 48 beats per minutes. This device helps you to keep aware of your activities, which help you to stay fit.

This is my first Fitbit and I really like it. I have worn it for the past two weeks and plan to continue to wear it. When I went in for my physical, the Doctor said it was a good idea and showed me his Fitbit that he had been wearing for years. One of the best features is that it tracks my sleep. I didn't realize how little that I had been sleeping. It also tracks my steps and I find that I am walking more now to achieve the goal. When I get to the goal each day, the Fitbit has fireworks go off on the screen.

Great way to keep track of your steps and how you sleep. Slim design isn't too obtrusive on my wrist and has a stylish design. Easy to set up and easy to use. Luv the app.

This is a great fitness tracker! I bought it to track my sleep as well as my heart rate, steps and distance every day. It has features that my Apple Watch doesn’t have, like the sleep tracker. I’m in a weekly competition with my boyfriend and neighbors on who gets the most steps. I love it! Long battery life too!

This is my second Fitbit and fifth activity tracker. My first Fitbit was a Charge HR and it lasted a little more than a year. It had poor battery life and the band eventually tore away from the tracking device, making it useless since these bands were not changeable. Went to buy an Apple Watch but was disappointed in the battery life, saw the newer Fitbit and decided to give it a try. So glad I did, very happy with my purchase and the battery life really does last 5 days.

This product is easy to set up and the program is easy to use. It is a great fitness tracker to track sleep patterns, heart rate, steps taken through out the day. The app for the phone is really easy to use and has a lot of fun tracking information that is a great motivator to improve diet and activity from day to day. Love it!

I was looking for a basic fitness tracker that doubles as a watch, and this was the perfect fit for me. I like the minimalist design and how lightweight it is, as I don't even notice it's on my wrist. Battery life lasts about 5 days if you manually sync, and when I do need to charge it, I just do it overnight. I like the celebratory vibration it gives after you pass 10,000 steps, although I wish there was a way to control the strength. Overall, no complaints from me.

I was heading towards obesity and this little gadget saved me. It has incredibly long battery life. Sometimes I only charge it for 20 minutes and I get almost 4 days. The support groups in the app are great. It monitors my sleep, my steps, my heart rate. It has a stop watch and text notifications among other things. You can switch up the straps which is great if you need to go somewhere fancy and not loose track of your steps. Great affordable choice!!

I purchased this product for my husband since he wanted to track his steps. He absolutely loves it. He isn't really a gadget type of guy so was perfect. It displays the time, steps, heart rate, see text msgs, see who is calling when u are near your phone and so much more. It even has a silent alarm which works great to wake up in the morning without waking up everyone else. If you download the Fitbit app you see all your stats and can do a few more things on there too. He has forgotten to take it off a few time when he washes the dishes and shower so it has gotten wet but it still works great.

The device works well. Band is a little hard to work, but it is ok. Tracks sleep, heart beat, steps and provides a lot of data. Easy to pair with phone. And it sends me weekly reports in my email. I am pleased with my purchase.

This was purchased as a Christmas gift for my dad, however, my mom, my girlfriend and myself all have the exact same Fitbit! We all love them! They work quite well, and last a full week (95% of the time) between charges. The only thing I will say though, is out of the 3 we have, 2 of the bands had to be replaced within a year due to breaking / falling apart. However, Fitbit was great in replacing them at no cost to me.

    Nice Upgrade

I had a Fitbit Alta, but the band was breaking, and I had always lamented that there was no clock on it. I would feel the band on my wrist and naturally look at it thinking that I had a watch on! So my Christmas wish list was a Fitbit with a watch and my son bought me this. I like the many upgrades from the Alta: A screen that you can tap through to get 1) the time, 2) your steps and heart rate, 3) Miles and Calories, 4) Flights of stairs climbed and minutes of activity, and 5) How many hours out of your day that you have walked at least 250 steps. I like the clock feature the best, but being able to check my progress through the day helps me stop writing emails, etc., and get up and move! It also can buzz you reminders to get up and move, you can set alarms and many other things. It has helped me lose the weight I needed to and now helps me keep it off by remaining active throughout my day.

A functional Activity Tracker as designed

A functional Activity Tracker as designed, not an ICU monitor It's all about realistic expectations. This is designed to be an activity tracker on which it delivers well. Someone incorrectly looking for an ICU real time patient monitoring system should look elsewhere (maybe in the ICU :) ). The device and the App are well designed focused on the main objective of encouraging and motivating people to be active via awareness, tracking, feedback and education. The HR and steps monitor practically deliver that for people focused on health and not for people more focused on 100% accuracy and losing sleep over slight variations as compared to scientific lab tests (people who lose sight of the forest while arguing on the EXACT number of trees). The accuracy of the HR monitor is as per dictated by the technology and is the same for all activity monitors of all brands using the technology, so nothing specific to Fitbit. I found it fairly accurate for resting HR and rates up to 110 bpm or so as compared to the professional treadmill monitors at gyms. Beyond that there was a time lag in registering the increased heart rate but it did register and had little impact on my overall workout. I was amazed that it detected the treadmill steps and distance and duration functionally well enough even though I was holding the treadmill static handles of the HR monitor. Steps accuracy found it 3-5% when actually slowly walking (not treadmill) with normal swinging arms which is perfectly fine too for the bigger picture. The sleep graphs seemed accurate based on my own idea and memory and awareness of how well I slept. Impressive and educational graphs and feedback. No issues getting used to wearing on the wrist slightly loosely without affecting sensors, just like getting used to a new watch. Turn off the continuous sync to App to increase battery life which I have found to be around 5 days. Exercise tracking via Fitbit App using the iPhone's GPS works well too to provide the path on the map with accurate distance numbers. Just have to be careful since not waterproof but one soon develops the habit. Overall it provided all the claimed functionality beyond my expectation.

I love my FitBit. This is the first one I've ever owned and I'm sad that I never bought one before this. My FitBit is my workout buddy and the little reminders to get my steps in keep me on track. I enjoy the animations on it and it seems very accurate in it's readings. I bought this one for the Heart Rate tracking. It's very insightful. All in all, I can't imagine going anywhere without my fitbit.

I love my fitness tracker. I thought I would get it and wear it for a little while, then abandon it. But I have worn it for 9 months now and have not had any problems w ith it. It nags me to move on those days when I am a little bit of a slacker. It tracks my steps. It monitors my heartbeat. For someone with heart problems, it helps by showing what you are doing and reminding what you should do.

    Better than the Charge HR

I primarily use the Fitbit for tracking steps for a wellness program through work. My wife and I both have Fitbit Charge HR's that we bought around Christmas 2015. Her's fell apart after about 9 months. Mine still works, but the screen has gotten very scratched. So for Christmas 2016 we both got the newer Charge 2's. Now that we've been using them for over 3 months, I can say that they're a little bigger than the original Charge HR's, which I don't like... but the battery life is much MUCH better, which I do. The screen size while larger, does appear to be more scratch resistant than the earlier model. While I primarily use it as a step counter, I do like the activity monitor, where it prompts you to take some steps every hour. If both our Fitbits last over a year, then they will be a vast improvement over the previous model. I neglected to mention when I composed the review for my Charge 2, (this is my wife's,) that the Charge 2 appears to track less random movement than the Charge HR. The Charge HR seems to pickup all sorts of random arm movement as steps, and while the Charge 2 does pickup some miscellaneous non-step arm movement as steps... it does so much less than the Charge HR.

Don't need an expensive smartwatch, but was looking for a good fitness tracker. This model from FitBit does a great job - always-on heart rate, stop-watch, run functions, syncs w/ full-featured phone app, etc. Charge last ~5 days with regular use (all-day wear, including ~45-60 mins high impact cardio). I've used the breathing meditation mode a couple times. Modern profile.

This is my first smartwatch; I bought Fitbit to help me meet my daily fitness goals. Tracking my daily physical routine is a great benefit in monitoring my progress. I like mixing up my route when walking or jogging so the stats make it easy for me to know the number of steps I have taken, how many miles I went, and how many calories I burned. Part of my night routine is to meditate to ensure a restful sleep using Fitbit relax with guided breathing sessions is an added bonus as it helps me to calm and reach my meditative state. Fitbit is easy to use and I like the design, the face size makes for easy reading. Fitbit has some amazing features. The battery lifetime is amazing; you can get five days of use on a single charge. I am very happy with Fitbit, definitely a great investment.
