    A Great miidrnge Fitness Tracker

I've been a Fitbit user sice 2017. I've tried other fitness trackers, but fitbit is the closest to accurate for me. The Charge suits me b/c I'm really not an athlete, but an active woman (of a "certain age") who is motivated to be more active b/c of my tracker. It is also one of the most accurate wearable sleep trackers for Android users. The Charge is a very affordable tracker and easy to set-up and use. Over the years, even with a few glitches, Fitbit Charge has served me well and I am anxious to see how the Charge 6 will improve (each new model is better than the last). I also like that it does not require a paid subscription to Premium. I took advantage of the trial subscription, but found that I didn't need all of those perks b/c I'm simply an elder monitoring my activity (cycling, walllking, pickleball-ing) and sleep.

A year later still pleased with my purchase

Overall happy with my purchase. I wasn't used to wearing a watch and wanted something not too large and this suits me perfectly. I did not want yet another communication (text, email, call) capable device - I'm content using my phone for all of that. It was easy to set up the device on the app. The app let's you track heart rate, steps, sleep and probably more that I've honestly just not looked in to. I did recently discover you can set it up for "wallet" info using Google Pay as well. I wanted a watch that could detect A-Fib via ECG. While you can check for it using the fitbit it does not actively monitor for A-Fib which i knew prior to purchase. It can be tricky for me checking for A-Fib because of the way you have to hold the fitbit when you're doing the test; holding the sides of the screen between your thumb and index finger for 30 seconds... with a hand tremor it's not so easy. One of the cons is that the surface did seem to get scuffed very easily - it would have been nice to have been advised to look in to screen protectors prior to purchase. It's the perfect watch/ health tracker for anyone who is not too tech savvy or looking for anything flashy. P.S. get a screen protector

Great product while it lasts. (Dead for no reason)

I LOVED my Fitbit Charge 5 from August 2022 to June 23, 2024. It had nice features like steps, selection of face graphics, sleep tracking, heart monitor, etc... The battery lasted at least a week. It fit comfortably. Though I was never hard on it, it seemed durable. No scratches or wear on the device and only slight wear on the band. Like my last 2 Fitbits, it suddenly stopped working. Though it was charged at 90% just moments before and was happily tracking my steps, the Logo appeared on the face and it quit being responsive. I plugged it in to charge and got a few milliseconds of information that quickly disappeared. I tried restarting it per online instructions with no improvement. It now heats up when charging and keeps a dark face with no sign of life. It is dead for no apparent reason and is out of warranty. I'm overly disappointed.

I bought this Charge 5 to replace my Charge 5 that died. I really liked this style which is why I bought the same model. I was disappointed to see they took away the Rest app and changed the exercise shortcut options. They removed the Aerobic Workout shortcut and the Circuit Training shortcut. Neither one is a deal breaker but I wish they had kept the original settings since those were the two I used the most. Overall, I still love the display and the size of it, not too bulky but big enough for me to clearly see everything.

I like all the things the Charge 5 tracks and the battery lasts forever even with 24/7 use. Definitely be a total tech member or buy at least a 2 year warranty from Best Buy. I am now exchanging mine for the 3rd time. This is why 4 stars and not 5. I bought the original one in late Dec. and the clip that holds the band in broke after a few months. Best Buy replaced it without question. The second one stopped swiping, so i let the battery go all the way down, since pressing the button on the recharge cable wouldn't restart it. I never came back up. The Best Buy Total Tech 2 year warranty pays for itself every year, which is why I buy all electronics from Best Buy.

【Design】 The visibility is good and the necessary information is arranged in an easy-to-see manner, and I felt that it was a manufacturer in the long-established category. [Operability] Swiping left and right occasionally misses, but I don't feel that stress. Since usage is limited, it is divisible with such a thing. 【Functionality】 I think it's more than enough because I don't use it for anything other than monitoring and notifying my walking heart rate intensity. [Size and fit] This type of band, shape and material is very comfortable to wear once you get used to it. 【battery】 If you walk for 45 minutes after fully charged, it will consume 25-30% or a little more, but it is not a problem at all because it is charged every time. [Overview] Before aerobic exercise, I was looking for a function that would allow me to easily jog or walk while maintaining my heart rate in a fat-burning state. Eight years ago, I was using a watch called Parneo from Nippon Seimitsu Sokki, but although it had a special function for this, it didn't have a vibration function, so I had to check it one by one. Charge 5 notifies you with both vibration and color, so it's very convenient to know which zone your heart rate is in and when the zone changes. I don't use any other features and don't subscribe, so it doesn't cost more, but there may be a cheaper one.

Better value than some smartwatches at a much better price. I didn't get even 1 day before my battery would go dead in my samsung smartwatch. I could not make full use of all the features. I finally just gave up and the charge does all I want it to for much less money and much much longer battery life. And lastly it is a better size for me.

I love my new Fit Bit Charge 5. I previously owned the Aspired but this so so much better. I love the screen size the vibrant color and its so easy to navigate. The home screen makes it so easy to track your activity throughout the day. The battery last me 7 whole day! Also a big plus was that Best Buy gives you 6 months premium membership.

This is one of the few good looking smart watches for my thin wrist and has heart rate (resting and current), oxygen, and sleep tracking. I also use the timer for exercise and cooking. Most of the other newer watches are too thick/tall and look awkward on me.

This is my 3 Fitbit for myself and I purchased 2 more as gifts. I absolutely love my Fitbit, no complaints! Works as designed and can change bands to dress up or dress down. I also like the fact that it’s not huge like the Apple Watch, which I find bulky and unattractive. I love how it gives me the needed info of my exercise, steps, and sleep tracking. EKG also a plus. The only complaint is the steps that tracks on the treadmill vs actual walking. It’s always under tracking compared to what my treadmill calculates but not enough to dislike it. I definitely would recommend this.

Ive had a fitbit since 2017 and started with the Charge 3. Had that for 4 years and then upgraded to the Charge 4. When i was opening my pool i made the mistake of forgetting to take it off and accidently broke it. I was mad when it happened but im happy with the upgrade. The display screen layout is much better than my old watch. Also the battery life is extremely better. Love the yellow and blue colors of the time and goals. Very happy woth the Charge 5.

Over the 4 Fitness watches I’ve owned, The FitBit Cherge series is by far my favorite. Not only is it accurate when it comes to tracking fitness, It’s Display is vivid and clear. Interface along side it’s app are all so straightforward and simple for anyone to understand easily! By far one of the best watches to date! Only downside would be the membership to get the max potential out of of the watches benifits, but the watch alone is superb

I love this watch!! It has helped me so much monitoring things that I need to on a daily basis. The only “issue” I came across was the band that it is sold with irritated my skin very bad almost like a burn. But that is a simple fix for a new band. I have super sensitive skin! So I wouldn’t even call it an issue. Just a warning if you have sensitive skin.

I bought this to replace my Charge 2 which had cracked screen. It was still running fine. Change 5 has some features I don’t care about. The basic functions compared to Charge 2 is a complete failure. The biggest issue !!!!! Glitches: I owned for 6m now. Every one months also, it will freeze or drain battery itself. Need to perform reset or resync with phone. Very frustrating. Battery life: need to disable heart rate, activity tracking and etc features to get long battery span. Have to charge 3 hours to reach 100% to get 6 day’s battery life. Otherwise it will be three days. Band: First I liked the band, secured in place better than old band. But my wrist was bruised and turned black after wearing for 3 months. Now I took off every night. The picture below were taken recently. After almost 3months, skin is still discolored :( The only good thing is that it is thinner than Charge 2. How could they still not fix the glitching issues a year after release???

This was exactly what I was looking for. I had previously owned a Samsung Galaxy watch but the battery life drained very quickly and had to be charged overnight. Then I bought this Fitbit charge, the battery will last for at least a week and a half before I have to charge. This is perfect for me yes I usually get annoyed if I have to charge constantly. Watch real estate is not as big as other smart watches, however it's got all the gimmicks that you need. Highly recommended.

Great for daily step counter, super practical. The app is easy to use and sometimes I don’t even feel the need to look at my watch. It has my sleep patterns, my heart rate variability and it keeps my resting heart rate tracked. You can also go on streaks, and it is a great motivator to hit your 10,000 steps everyday.
