Love that it's water resistant and easy to wear! my only note is that the charge didn't always take initially; had to trouble shoot this but good news is that i was then able to resolve. i would recommend!

I wanted a Fitbit and considered several different models. I decided to go with the flex 2 for a few reasons. One, I’m always on a baseball field and rain happens, so gave me piece of mind that it is water resistant. Second, I read that scratching was an issue with other models and I know how rough I can be, so the flex 2 takes away that scare. And lastly, all the information I need from the flex 2 is readily available on my smartphone. Been wearing it for a few weeks now and am very, very happy with it. The battery doesn’t last 5 days like they say it does, but I’ve been getting 3 days per full charge roughly which is still good enough.

The fitbit flex is very slim compared to previous model and waterproof which is definitely a plus if you want to go swimming I would say it’s also very accurate in tracking steps

I like it very much. It tracks my sleep and my steps. It vibrates when I get a phone call or a text and when I have met my step goal. For now, this is all I need.

Great fitbit! Even though it’s not the most advanced fitbit I love the fact it can track my steps and sleep as well as being waterproof

Super easy to set up and use. The small size isn't intrusive. Waterproof so you don't have to worry about it under any circumstance.

I like how little and cute this tracker is. I wear a watch, and wanted a fitbit on my other wrist. It was important not to look like another watch. This fits the bill. I have the fitbit one, and it is getting old and not holding a charge. So, now I have a fitbit on again. I will update this review after a few days of wearing this fitbit flex 2.

I like this tracker because it has all the functions I want with the exception of a heart rate monitor and a screen. Although I really wanted those features it was more important to me that it was comfortable to wear and was waterproof. If the Alta HR were waterproof I would have purchased that model.

This is my third Fitbit and my first that could be worn on the wrist. I like the size and that it is very lightweight. Only negative is that it has to be recharged more often than my previous models. Also, relative to the models that are not worn on the wrist, this model accumulates steps more quickly.

I purchased the Flex a few years ago. I liked it but it was a little bulky. The new Flex has a perfect slim size. I don't know how it happened; I loss the Bit out of the band. It does a great job of tracking steps if that's what you desire. The biggest challenge is that you have you use the phone app to get all your stats. BTW, the Bit was never found somewhere in my home. I purchased the Alta as a replacement and visual stats.

I wasn't sure which type of fitness band I wanted and opted for the fitbit flex 2 becuase it was the smallest and least bulky of the options. I have really small wrists and don't like to be constantly interrupted with notifcations and information overload.
At first I wished I'd gotten a model that could measure my heart rate too, and I'm not quite sure how much it actually understands that I am rowing on the water when I'm 'exercising,' but I decided that I don't mind. I like that it is small, it nudges me to move, it lets me know when I'm getting a text message or call (I NEVER have my phone volume on, so this is very helpful), and I am very motivated to move more and try to get steps in. It's just enough bang to help me think more about not being sedentary which I like. If here was a fit bit the same size that also measured heart rate, I would probably upgrade to that, but I don't like anything bulkier.

I've had several fitbits, Polar watches, and other such devices. I bought this one due to the look and the ability to wear it as a necklace. The wrist functionality works better as I don't get accurate step count consistently as a necklace, but all the features are great (especially sleep tracking, as I do not sleep well), setup is easy, and the slim design makes it easy to wear.

Remarkable! Very affordable distance tracking devise for the lap swimmer. Tracking hours of sleep is accurate. Battery lasts close to a week before a recharge. Slim, lightweight, waterproof, accurate and fits comfortably!

Pleased with the Fitbit Flex 2 so far. Charge doesn't last as long as stated (but what electronic gadget does). Meets my needs for tracking my walks/steps (only wanted basic functions didn't want GPS, HR, etc.,,); is compatible with other apps I use and small enough to wear all the time. Loads of accessories available too.

the app keeps being improved by developer, and the band shows no sign of damage after more than 6 months of daily use (including swimming in ocean, taking showers with it, sweaty workout sessions, rough play with kids)
only gripe is about the battery life. it doesn't make it to a full week (7 days). manufacturer doesn't claim that, but I've had other bands (jawbone, which unfortunately had design issues on the band itself, not the electronics) similar in size which went for a solid 7 days and were also waterproof. other than that, this is as solid as it gets for a semi-serious fitness tracker enthusiast. it seems more accurate in step tracking than my samsung watch, and the sleep tracker is top notch.

Tried a cheap fitness watch and it was difficult to sync with phone and it didn’t seem to work. The Fitbit is very easy to use and setup. I’m more conscientious of my health improvement goals and love the reminders. I will probably upgrade my Fitbit but this is a great starter fitness watch.

Worth the upgrade from the original Flex

I saw the sleeker design of the FitBit Flex 2 and decided to upgrade. I had owned the original Flex for several years and the charge on that device was starting to fade more rapidly throughout the day.
The Flex 2 is an improvement over the original. For those of you who don't want a big bulky bio-metric device or, like me, have a nice watch which I also wear on the same wrist, this is a thin, stylish band that almost looks like an accessory bracelet.
Things I like about Flex 2 over Flex 1:
- Better look and fit, with rounded edges
- Better battery charge from what I can tell so far
- No need for the laptop dongle
- The clasp is MUCH BETTER - I dropped my old Flex at least three times and almost lost it because the clasp was too easily dislodged.

I did my research and debated on which Fitbit was right for me, and I'm so glad I picked this one! I've had it for almost a week and it's been so beneficial already. The step tracker and calorie counter have been very helpful, but the sleep tracker is one of my favorite features. It has given me more insight as to why I always wake up so tired. Another favorite feature is the vibration that it gives you if you haven't walked enough steps within the past hour. It's kind of a gentle way of telling you to stop being lazy and I love that! Also, it was easy to setup and the app that goes along with it is very user friendly and helpful. I also love that you can purchase extra bands to change up the colors. A friend of mine was waiting to hear my feedback before they purchased one and they're now going to get their own. I'm also looking at buying the scale that goes along with the Fitbit to keep track of my weight and body fat. Great product and I would highly recommend!

Absolutely love this item, bought it for traveling so I had something to help me keep track of steps. The fact that it's waterproof makes it perfect. Only wish the band was a little more secure. Hasn't fallen off, but wish it had a buckle like some of the other fit bit models.
