    Excellent Basic Smartwatch

This watch is excellent for the person who wants a device to track fitness and only needs basic smart watch features. This watch does everything I need it to. I can see my notifications without getting my phone out, and I get all the great fitness tracking that Fitbit offers. There are some things I wish it did... Like connect to Google or Apple music... But i don't mind using my phone since I have to use it for gps tracking of my runs. I love the appearance. It's simple, classic, and Fitbit finally got away from all the angles and unnecessary bulk of their other devices. This watch is light and comfortable. I am very happy with this purchase.

My daughter tried to talk me into an Apple Watch but I don’t care to answer text while I’m exercising. I can read to check if an emergency, so I am good. Battery life is excellent- at least 4 days - which is wonderful. Apple can give two days at the most. Waterproof is another great feature. Can’t beat the price for the quality! I used Best Buy points which was also great! ❤️ So far, no issues after about a month.

About time they made a Fitbit that was waterproof! Love the functionality of this watch. Nice colors. It’s most useful when synced to Fitbit App but I’m guilty about NOT doing this. App is pretty awesome too. Wished they did a continuous scroll for the exercise options. The “workout” and “treadmill” modes are near the end and I can’t scroll backwards making it longer to access. =\ This is more of an annoyance especially when you’re trying to fit in a quick workout. Battery lasts for about 4 days depending on how many alarms or notifications you use. I do love the alarm bc it just vibrates and there is NO SOUND. This is awesome when you don’t want to wake up a sleeping spouse. Not liking the band bc it’s a pain to take off. I originally got a bumper guard for it but stopped using it bc the sheer difficulty in locking the spring lever on the band back in place. Definitely recommend a tempered glass protective screen. The screen dings and scratches super duper easy. The protective screens are like about $8-10 on Amazon and you get 2 and totally worth it considering price of watch. I almost got the iWatch instead, but I didn’t like the dial. The iWatch was also $50 more than the Versa. Still happy with my choice.

I wanted a new smartwatch and the biggest comparison came down to iWatch vs. Versa. After taking into account various articles, I came to the conclusion the Versa had everything I needed especially battery life and at a price over $100 less than the iWatch. Pros: Tracking is great and I get the notifications I need. The pulse tracking matches other equipment I have used and I am learning a lot about my sleep patterns thanks to the 3-4 days I get between charges. Cons: The little things that drop the overall rating to a 4 vs. a 5 star rating are the few things it is lacking. Switching watch faces requires extra steps (especially for paid watch faces) because it only stores one face at a time. It does not have a tether feature so I don’t know if either my watch or my phone is too far away from each other. Lastly, while I get all the notifications I want, I would like a little more control over them such as different vibrations for different types of messages. Considering how much I like the watch overall, the cons are minimal but they are just enough for me to not give this a perfect rating.

I had a charge 2 and then saw this and I had to upgrade. I have a very small wrist and I was really worried it would be too big and look odd but to my surprise, it is perfect! I just picked it up today and it took about 20 minutes to set up but it was super easy and I had no problems. It is super light on my wrist and overall, for the price, this watch is well worth it! I am really happy with my purchase and this watch. I bought a rose gold and black band from another website but the band it comes with is a peachy coral color and it is really soft too. The watch band in my picture is not the band it comes with. I would highly recommend this watch!

I replaced a Microsoft Band 2 with this watch. My take on the first two months of use are: + screen is easy to read + waterproof means I can rinse it off after working out + battery lasts several days if you are wearing it as a watch and not using it to track workouts + daily charge takes less than 20 minutes + vibration alarm wakes me up every time + band material appears to be holding up well with minimal to no scuffs - I find the band latch difficult to remove when taking the watch off - settings were hard to figure out. Need to dig through the Fitbit app to configure the watch - somewhat annoying to put in the charger - TONS of emails from Fitbit about every little thing the watch recorded. These should be opt-in. - wanted to use the watch without making a Fitbit account which is not possible Overall, I'm happy with the watch. It doesn't have built in GPS (which my Band 2 did at this price point), but I wasn't willing to pay $100+ more to get it. I would buy the Versa again. Would rate 5 stars if it included GPS on the watch - no phone required.

I've been wearing the watch for almost two months now. I really like the style of this watch and all the applications that you can get on your wrist. The coach is pretty nice, so you can get an idea of a short work out. I used mine in the shower sometimes, without any problems, so I trust in its water resistance feature. Also, it is pretty good tracking my sleep. Although I love it, there are some cons: 1. It is not very accurate with the step counting. I would say it has 10-15% error, which is not bad, but it can be better. 2. It is very bad tracking active periods. I don't know how it estimates that, if it is only based on your hand movement or if it also includes the heart rate, but it is VERY inaccurate. I've been doing a spinning class for an hour and the watch says: you have been active for 10 min. Really!!! 3. Sometimes, I have problems syncing my watch with the Fitbit app, which I feel is more an app problem than the watch, but anyway... Again, even with those cons, I am very happy with my purchase.

I'm in love with this watch. This is my first smart-watch and I couldn't be happier. I bought because I wanted to track the calories I burn during the day so I can keep track of my fitness goals so for this matter it's perfection so all the extra apps are just a plus for me. I haven't used them all but to be able to read your notifications, messages, listen to music and go for a walk and run without taking your phone with you, it's just perfect!! totally recommended

I love my Fitbit versa. It does everything I need it to. I can look at texts and answer phone calls. My battery lasts 3 days without having to charge it and it’s much better priced compared to outer “smartwatch” options! I love how the band is interchangeable and I can change the look to match what I’m wearing! Would definitely buy again and recommend to anyone!

Been using for nearly 2 months. Great battery life. Does exactly what it supposed to do. Tells pretty decent steps, sleep, HR, etc. Connects to my Bluetooth headphones for music when I don't have my phone. (Loading music must be done via computer and it is a long and annoying process to do so fyi. Also once you go into music mode and back out you can seem to jump back into the player without resetting the playlist. I could be wrong but haven't figured it out yet and it's only backup music player for me.) All in all does what I want and im happy with it. If you want all the cool functions like full ability to make calls (talk and receive via watch) or text full messages from it then look elsewhere bc this doesnt do that. Also no GPS as mentioned in product description. All pros for me as I didn't care or want it. But most complaints are those things and Bluetooth cutting out which is true from my experience, but again it's only when uploading music for me. Hope this helps anyone looking into this product for themselves. I also got mine on sale for like $160 or so at the time so price point was good for me. Cheers!

I'm not a fitness guru, but I do enjoy working out on occasion and maintaining my weight. This watch, paired with the scale, helps me stay on track and stay active. Just 250 steps per hour is a nice and easy goal which keeps me in shape, plus the coach app is just what I needed. Of course, it is super cute, lightweight and has a battery life of almost week helps too.

Versa - an iWatch clone thats cheaper

If you are looking for an iWatch clone but without the expense, and only using it as a fitness tracker, without the fancy app features or built-in phone, then the fitbit versa is a great option. We've traveled the world with this one, and it's reliable. She loves it, I enjoy the step competitions. Its accurate as it comes. The apps that it comes with are useful, but because it depends on the phone for internet connection, its limited compared to devices with a built-in cellular modem. Regardless, all the useful apps are there. The screen is nice, battery life is wonderful (though could be longer) and it's reliable. I bought it for my GF whose Charge 2 HR failed after 2 years (screen broke). She walks a lot for her job and this helps us keep each other in competition. The device is very easy to use and light enough that she does not remember it. Charge time is quick (she charges it when she is driving to work). The connected features of the phone are nice. While this isn't like its apple alternative, the versa at its core is a nice device that looks more expensive than it is.

I give this 4 stars, due to the only things I would change, is the size of the Versa, it would be nice if it were smaller, I have tiny wrists so the versa is very large, and the syncing, it is always running in the back round on my phone. I love that it is waterproof and that you can change the display styles.

Fantastic smart watch that is about 80% of an Apple Watch for less than half the price. Waterproof tracker that adds a ton of smart watch features and has great battery life. It doesn't have all the bells and whistles that the Apple Watch does, its a fitness smartwatch-not and entertainment watch.

Best smart watch money can buy. This is the third one in our family and we all love it! Great battery life. Easy to use. Notifications and tracking work flawlessly. I’ve tried the more expensive watches out there. The only thing I got from those that I didn’t get with the Versa was a lighter wallet.

I had a Fitbit back when they first came out and really liked the interface even back then. I eventually changed to an Apple Watch (1st Series) because I was tired of wearing a watch on one wrist and step counter on the other, and wanted to combine them. The Apple Watch worked great, but I didn't like the Health App as much as the Fitbit steps interface. In this first attempt at a "Smartwatch", Fitbit did a great job. While it might not have all the functionality of the Apple Watch, it does everything I need it to do - counts steps, tracks exercise, receives text messages and alerts. It's also very nice looking and I've gotten quite a few compliments about it. A full charge will normally last me about 2 days, and the charging is quick and easy. Have had it for about a month now with no complaints whatsoever. If you want mega-functionality, I would recommend Apple (for Iphone) or Samsung (for Android) smart watch options. But if you are simply looking for a very nice, high quality, user-friendly smart watch, then I highly recommend the Versa!

I've had the versa for about a month now and am mostly happy with it. The fitness tracking part of it is excellent; it's pretty comprehensive and covers a wide range of activities and it's easy to track your progress. My current phone is a Sony Xperia XA 2 Ultra and I'll have the occasional connectivity issue and I'll have to turn my Bluetooth off then on to get it to connect again. Also, there's a slight delay in the notification. When an incoming call or text comes in, the Versa doesn't vibrate immediately, it's maybe a second delay; not a big deal but it would be better if it was immediate like on other watch/trackers I've had. Lastly, to control music from your phone with the Versa is unnecessarily complicated and never works exactly how you want it. Hopefully they can fix these issues soon. Despite it's shortcomings, I'm enjoying the Versa very much and I get a lot of compliments about it.

I went from the fitbit hr. And what a difference! I would have to charge the hr every night so I could not take advantage of the sleep cycle feature! This verse only needs to be charged every 4 days. When I’m running late in the morning I don’t have to take it off in the shower (I usually do anyway). The hr bubbles and the glue wears off eventually (happened to me twice). It is so incredibly like that I forget it wearing it. Lots of face options so you get all the info you want when you flick your wrist. I’m a stats heavy guy. Anyway, the first week of using it I realized how terribly I’m sleeping! I have made steps to fix that and I am feeling amazing already. So go out and get yours and give your old fitbit to a non fitbit friends so you have some buds to motivate you. Happy steppin!
