    We received the floor mat a few days ago. It lays down flat immediately and is of good thickness. The computer chair rolls nicely across it. We are happy with this purchase. Obviously, we cannot attest to the longevity of the product as we just received it.

    I've had several of these mat from different brands. They all develop micro-cracks over time no matter what they advertise. Just assume every 2yrs or so, you'll need to replace them if you use them daily.

    The mat developed a crack after only about 60 days of use.

      Thank you for taking the time to leave a review on our Polycarbonate Ultimat. We are very sorry to hear that your mat has started to develop cracks after a very short period of use. Polycarbonate is an extremely strong and durable material, ideal for everyday use and under the correct application we would not expect cracks to form. This product in particular is designed for use on carpets less than 1/2’’ thick including the carpet underlay, if placed on plush pile carpet the mat could begin to bow and crack. Placing stationary objects on the mat and/ or exceeding the mats 250 lbs weight capacity, may also lead to cracking. In this case we would suggest reaching out to our customer service team who will be able to assess if this is the best mat for you and also advise on our warranty policy.
