easy to set up initially. works as advertised. it's a little tricky to access the camera from smartphone app when you are not on the same wireless network. had to tweak the port settings but now it connects no problem from outside the home. i am considering getting a couple more to provide total security at my home.

I like the Foscam wireless camera that I purchased a second one. the quality is low but it is a good wireless camera to monitor your home. I like the Foscam set up for alarms and I can view the camera remotely. I like that I can tilt and pan the camera for other views.

I have this working only on my home network so I have not ventured in setting up a dns server to make it available elsewhere. The setup is easy if you're familiar with at least home networking. I use it mostly as a baby/kid monitor. The night vision is great. I deducted 1 star just because it is a little grainy. Overall, I'd buy another one if I needed one. If you have an android device, I recommend tinyCam Monitor Pro app to use with this. It is better than the Foscam app and it supports Chromecast (audio doesn't seem to work with Chromecast).

I purchased this IP camera for the security and monitoring of my home. It does just that. I have used some apps on my android phone and android wear to watch, move, listen, and even speak to my children and wife at home while I am at work. Also a great tool for watching over the children's room to ensure everything is alright with the baby. This lower grade camera was a test to see the abilities and the IP camera from FOSCAM and I have to say I am pleasantly happy with the outcome to the point of where I have already purchased a better grade one for another monitoring point in the house.

I think the wireless hookup for multiple cameras could be a lot easier first camera took about 40 min to get going from my cellphone and then the other took over 3 1/2. The hookup wasnt bad but configuring them to be accessed by mobile phone was time consuming. If you have the time to play with the settings to get it going then well worth the money

Works good and has great picture. Easy set up to modem. However setting up remote access is not for the beginners. You have to do know more than average to set it up.

This is my second Foscam IP Camera. As stated above, I can watch my cameras from anywhere. The first is a fixed view of my driveway. This one can be plugged into a 120v outlet anywhere in the house, it will automatically connect to the wifi and put a video on my home network I can view from the outside on my cell phone. Also, the cameras can be set up to do on-board motion detection and send me an email with attached still pictures when they see movement. A computer on your network running D-link software can save AVI video files to the hard drive when motion is detected.. The Foscam cameras are exactly what I wanted and work very well. The setup is a little involved and requires some knowledge about your router. In my experience, once the camera is setup properly, it is quite stable and reliable. Eventually, I'll probably get one or two more.

This Internet Cam is very easy to use. Set up is simple with software provided. Tech-support will help you enable it to be wireless and link it to an app to use on your iPhone. I would recommend this.

Great quality pictures if you can figure out the set up process. Installation was easy until we tried connecting to the cameras outside our network. Took a lot of patience.

Can't set it up like the one I exchanged I only got this one cuz you can zoom in and pan but can't get it to work on my WiFi

Camera was relatively easy to set up for wireless viewing while at home, however, if you want to view over the internet or through your iPhone app, you need to set up a DNS account, then configure Port Forward through your router, which was described on Foscam site, however, no troubleshooting tips on website if Port Forward doesn't work. Turns out my home network has 2 devices that need to be configured, 1 modem, and 1 router. If Foscam had this solution on their site, it would have saved a couple hours of trial and error turning off and on firewalls on my router. Otherwise simple to use and I will add more cameras to my network when I have the chance.

This protective phone case for my iPhone is really a no-brainer considering the cost of replacing my phone. It is waterproof and shockproof and has saved me from many a time of having to replace my phone in certain situations. Life happens!

So, if you don't have a static IP address and have a dynamic one, the setup is super hard and tedious. It took me hours of research and forums reading to figure it out. Eventually, I set my firewalls and ports correctly and used No-ip.com.

Have used this model previously to monitor activity within our home when we are away. It works well both in daylight and darkness. The microphone pickup works well. It does take some knowledge to setup your router to allow it to be accessed from outside your home network.

It is a good camera and it does have a sound and motion detection. Having a PTZ camera for a fraction of the cost. The only thing that I do not like is the picture quality. Colors are off.

The Foscam IP Camera is a great solution to be used as a security camera and/or nanny cam. I love the ability to view it remotely from my android phone any time I need! The camera was very easy to set up and configure.

Easy to set up, works great even outside. needs the app to work on your smartphone, free at the play store.

I have owned a camera like this for three years and it had worked flawlessly. it is a bit of a pain sometimes to setup at least for the first time since you have to use the silly till the thing comes with but other than that it is good. great night vision.

Not the easiest to setup. Good tilt feature, but can't record remotely. Depends on your purpose for purchasing the ip camera
