You get more than what you pay for. No Blu Ray but you can buy those separately. A lot of entertainment for the price. Best part is Abbott and Costello Meet Frankenstein.

Awesome compilation of the classic Frankenstien movies

I bought this set to introduce my niece to the old Frankenstein movies. It was refreshing to buy her something that is more story based over today's blood and guts films.

The Universal Monster movies hold a special place in my heart, but non can compare to my love of Frankenstein. Whether Mary Shelley's book, Young Frankenstein by Mel Brooks, or The Monster Squad's version of the Monster, I love this story. The Original and it's sequels are a staple on my Netflix Rental. I own the first Karloff Frankenstein on bluray but wanted to add the rest to my collection. I bought the Frankenstein: Complete Legacy Collection on DVD so i could have them all. The collection is filled with special features and the rest of the movies that helped make Universal the home of monster movies. The picture is crisp and the audio is clear. The only down fall is that if you are going to buy Frankenstein: Complete Legacy Collection and Dracula: Complete Legacy Collection be prepared for some over lapping in the movies as The Monster/Adam and Dracula share a few movies together.
