Very Quiet. Easy set up. If you want it to drain outside, you have to buy a separate kit. Brought that at Lowes for $10.

I've only had the unit for a short time to replace my previous Frigidaire which lasted ~10years. The previous unit was running, but the condenser unit wasn't functioning, so no moisture was being pulled from the air. Anyway, due to my satisfaction with the previous Frigidaire unit, I bought this one to replace it. So far so good - no issues, although I notice the bucket is smaller than the previous unit and thus I need to empty more often. I also notice the air flow is different, now blowing out the top instead of the side. If you're like me and used to lay wet things on top of it (e.g. gloves, headband, etc...) then you'll have to either buy some 3M sticky hooks to put on the side or find a different location. So far, so good.

Needed a new dehumidifier to replace one that quit working. Searched online and found this one. Best Buy had one of the best prices available and it was also available for same day pick-up. After unpacking, this was easy to set up and operate. Removed the excess humidity in our lower level very quickly. It does release a little heat, but it helps to take the chill out of the basement, so I am good with that. Great buy for the money. Now if it last for a reasonable amount of time...we will see!

I purchased this one to replace a similar Frigidaire dehumidifier that failed under warranty. Seems to work well, as did the previous one. Good warranty response on the part of Frigidaire. We did not have to ship back the failed humidifier. They just paid for a replacement but it took a couple of calls to get to that point.

I finally had to replace a very old unit. Was undecided between the 50 pint, and the 70 pint. I decided to go with the larger, as our basement gets quite humid in the summer. This Frigidaire unit pulls a lot of moisture - I had to empty the water reservoir after it ran for a couple of days. I read many reviews before purchasing, and several people said that their units stopped working shortly after the manufacturer's warranty expired. I did buy the 4-year protection plan for extra peace of mind. So far, it works well, is very quiet, and our basement feels much drier.

This dehumidifier really does pull 70 gallons per day. We have an older one, different brand. This is our second unit for our basement. Compared to older model you can really see the difference plus its energy star certified.

Stopped in to Best Buy looking for a TV. Left with not only the TV but the Frigidaire Dehumidifier. Just a few days earlier my old dehumidifier went out. So before I hit the TV displays, I checked to see what was in the store and found a great deal on this model. Works great. I end up having to empty it sometimes twice a day. It comes with the option to connect a drain hose, however, I prefer to dump the water outside around my flowers and plants. A positive purchase.
