I love this camera. I have owned many but this feels like old school. I can feel and know the picture in my head and hands and not confused by digital settings. The smooth boken and wonderful detail in low light condition paired with fuji lenses is amazing. The problem in the earliy release of this camera was the focusing issue. With the update 3.40 firmware this camera rocks. It is not a camera for beginners but if you have experience taking pictures .....YOU WILL LOVE.....LOVE THIS CAMERA! If you wear glasses this camera is god send. There is not diopter but if you buy a eye optic (correction eye piece) for your eye condition. This will make a great camera because you can check the image in the ( evf and ovf ) view finder. You can also push the wheel and it will increase image size so you can check your pic in the view finder! Now I don't have to put my glasses on when I check the shot on the LCD. WHAT A HUGE TIME SAVER! This was a constant disparity while using my Canon gear! When the update model XPRO-2 comes out I will add it to my arsenal of photo gear! Quality and innovations by Fujifilm company speaks loads of a company who make their exsisting camera's even better! I love that Fujifilm has this business mentality! The weight and quality and reasonable price compared to Canon and Nikon quality was a home run with the XPRO-1 If you are on the fence on buying this camera you will not be disappionted in purchasing this camera. I am now selling my Canon gear and replacing it with fuji.

Small, compact but packs a great punch. I switched from a canon 6D (full frame) and haven't looked back. The glass made my Fuji is top notch. Shooting with the xpro1 and the fujinon 35mm f1.4 has been a joy. Would highly recommend even with a slight learning curve.

I have been shooting for over 25 years and have been using digital SLR cameras for 10 years. I have owned more cameras from Canon and Nikon than I can remember. Including full frame DSLR's. Even with an APS-C sized sensor, I can say this with all honesty the Fujifilm X-Pro1 is the finest digital camera I have ever owned. Build quality is superb. Photo quality is better than anything I have used before including full frame. This is not a camera for beginners. It is for photographers who enjoy the entire process of making a fine photograph. The Fujifilm X system is new and still growing. However, search this camera on the web and you will find why so many pros are using this great camera. Well worth the price!
