I'm an avid amateur photographer. My primary camera is a full-frame Nikon D800, which I dearly love. I don't even mind the weight of it, but sometimes a big honkin' DSLR is just awkward - not necessarily from a use standpoint, but from an everyone giving you weird looks because you brought a big camera standpoint.
If you're looking to go incognito, but still want the same kind of image quality you can usually only get with a full-frame DSLR, you're in luck - this Fuji delivers. You can get great images, and nobody gives you a second glance.
The X100T gives an equivalent image to a 35mm lens on a full-frame DSLR. This works great for chasing my 2 year old son around. I couldn't be happier.

This is the type camera 99.99999 percent of people need in there lives. It is extremely well made, it is easy to carry around, it takes amazing photos and has awesome convenience features, like film emulsions and wifi, to make everyone happy.
I have a Fuji XT1, and it has pretty much taken a back seat to this camera, and that is saying something, considering the XT1 is amazing in its own right.
To start, the build quality. Second to none. It is built like a Leica, but doesnt carry the price tag. All the knobs are machined metal, everything is just solid.
Image quality is stellar. Fuji uses their own APS-C sensor, which really bridges the gap between standard APS-C sensors from the likes of Nikon and Canon to the bigger full frame sensor. It is sharp, it renders color well and gives great depth of field for an APS-C sensor.
Handling and ergonomics are amazing as well. It feels like a classic rangefinder. The buttons are well laid out, they put all the necessary functions on the body(except ISO, but with how well auto ISO performs nowadays, its not an issue), and they have positive feel. No squishy buttons.
Macro works amazing well too.
The lens is a 22MM (35mm on full frame equivalent) and with a 2.0 Aperture, low light shots and bokehed(blurred backgrounds) out shots are easily attainable.
The only real problem with the camera is that your DSLR might start collecting dust.

gonna keep this short: it's pretty much one of the funnest camera(esp for street photography) to shoot with. I can bore you with all the specs and features and whatnot(i.e: hybrid evf/ovf, silent mode, f/2 lens, build in filters, etc etc) but the only way to really know how it feels to shoot with this camera is to pick one up and start shooting. Here's some shots i took with the bw filter.

image quality is very nice, just as expected. Low light quality is decent as well.
the on/off lever is quiet easy to switch on and off so if it's in a regular bag, might turn on by it self.
sometimes eye sensor and lcd display may lag turning back on and off.
besides these small mechanical issues, this camera is the best.
usually shoot kids and street photo.

I wanted an everyday camera that wouldn't be a hassle to carry around like my DSLR. I'm no photographer, just like to shoot as a hobby and for fun. This camera fulfills all my needs and provides good pictures. I love the vintage look!

This is a great camera to get started on. Takes GREAT pictures and gives you the option of playing with all of the settings manually and also using preset settings. Using the settings manually can get frustrating unless you know what youre doing but a little research and some practice will make a big difference in your ability to get the full benefit of this cameras features. Quality is amazing and Wifi is perfect for sending the pictures to your phone right away. Would highly recommend!

The Fuji X100T is a great camera. The quality of the imagery was way beyond my expectations. Other reviewers talked about its performance but I admit to being surprised at what this camera can do. The most impressive part is shooting on the street at night time. The range is just unbelievable and at 3200, the grain is nice looking. Color is great too. I am enjoying using the various film types too. B&W with a red or yellow filter is my favorite. I know you can do all of this in post processing but I simply love the ability to shoot like this because the camera lets you visualize the image and review the outcomes in real-time. Just love it.
And, I find the controls relatively easy to use. Takes a couple of sessions to get comfortable but with time, it becomes intuitive. My only negative comment would be the focus. I wish that there was a set turn on the lens with the focus ranges marked on the lens. That would make it easier to do hip shots or focus at times when you can't look through the lens.
So, I am a big fan of this little camera. Feels old school with a digital twist and delivers stunning quality.

Fuji made a great camera for all experience levels.
The real time photo simulation off the automatic settings can allow people not familiar with advanced camera settings to take amazing pictures. Was able to pick this up in my local bestbuy store two days after ordering, when all the pro camera stores where sold out, with no hard date when they would have more in.

I am still learning how to use it, which is great, as it brings me back to my old film days. Thus far I have experimented with some portraits, producing results that may exceed my Nikon d7000, as well as some landscapes. I was looking for a camera to carry around with me all the time, and found the perfect one.

Really liked the camera, but didn't fall in love with it. I am a huge fan of fujifilm and have the xe1, xe2, and 14mm, 23mm, and 32mm by zeiss, but felt like there was a loss of fine control with the focusing on the x100t. WiFi worked great but the was connection problems when you try to connect for the first time. I really was digging classic chrome as well. Auto focus was good also.
I personally would buy a xe2 and a lens rather than this but you can't go wrong with either. Fujifilm image quality is amazing and is great at high isos. I regularly shoot at 6400iso and have no issues.

This is my 3rd X100 series camera and clearly the best! Great people camera for days with the family or friends. Bought the X100T to get face detection and the other improvements, as well as to add a discrete black camera to the collection.

I chose this camera as my secondary camera that I can travel with. My primary camera is a full frame dslr and didn't want to miss it's high ISO performance with the secondary. Fujifilm X100T meets those needs for me. Of course due to the sensor size I can't expect the same performance but its good enough for what it is.

A truly outstanding piece of equipment from Fujifilm. I've used a huge range of cameras, from tiny budget point and shoots to the top end premium DSLRs from Sony and Canon. This is my favourite camera of all time. Tac-sharp images, beautiful design, and stunning colour reproduction. I don't even need to shoot RAW with this. I'll pick my film emulation, shoot, wifi to my iPhone and post them online. It's discreet and silent, truly the perfect street camera. Since buying it, it's not left my side once.
The X100F has a higher megapixel, but don't let that fool you. This camera produces images straight to JPEG unlike any camera I've ever seen. If this broke or got stolen, I'd buy another in a heartbeat.

I own a D800E and the FujiFilm X100T is an acquisition to make carrying a camera easier, particularly for street photography. The FujiFilm camera is very easy to learn and use. Well worth the investment.

The X100T is perhaps one of the best compact cameras made today, with an excellent APS-C sensor, Fuji's great color and dynamic range, and complete manual control of Shutter Speed, Aperture, and Exposure Compensation (ISO is also easily set using the Fn button where you can select values from a picklist). The camera can be shot using silent mode with electronic shutter, making this the stealthiest street camera available, too. RECOMMENDED!
