I got this gps around the being of the year at a very good price. I got it mainly for the dash cam and it works great. Right now I have a 64 micro sdcard in it and am on vacation, I upload everything to my laptop so I can share with friend on Facebook.

All features work great, love camera with warnings, lane assist, collision warning. Bluetooth phone, text, and Voice command all work great for hands free driving. Screen is very responsive. Traffic notification recently saved us from a 90 minute delay on an interstate. This is my second Garmin and it it's great!

I love the HD cam on this GPS. It is awesome for logging trips and proving not fault wrecks. The only problems are that it isn't ALWAYS recording. many times I try to go back to review a trip and the first half is not recorded but the last half is. The memory is nowhere near full when this happens. The camera lacks sound as well even though the Garmin has a Mic. Perhaps they will fix these with future updates. I like the fact that it tells you when you are too close to the person in front of you or if your easing into another lane however it can be very sensitive at night. There are many time I'm the only car on the road and it tells me I'm too close to another car. For those of you who insist on looking at your phone at stop lights, there is a feature that tells you when traffic is moving around you if you are sitting still. The GPS feature are great as they always are with Garmin. The sound is clear and the voice command works pretty well. Traffic updates work well. It is a great GPS for the asking price. I hope to see improved versions in the future. Something I can give 5 stars. I know Garmin can do it. They are a great company.

Easy to use with plenty of features The collision warnings and over the lane warnings I have set on low and I don't find them to be a bother but helpful The best feature is the built in camera which works very well All in all for the money this is a great gps

I really like this GPS, it's easy to use with many features. The screen is easy to see, the voice command feature is great and the dash cam has a wide angle and can even take photos. Great product for the price. No regrets. I will buy Garmin again.

This replaced a previous GPS that finally quit working. I really like the ability to customize all the settings for my particular needs and the detail and accuracy (so far) of its operation. The camera and driver warnings are a plus, but not necessary for those that prefer just the GPS (cheaper model) capability. Even my wife was impressed when she rode with me on a trip.

Let me first say this is the best GPS in the market right now under 300 dollars. Dash camera, voice commands, very accurate drive assisting technologies such as forward collision warning, lane departure signals, traffic movement notification all provide a very premium feeling to the user. A must buy for any one who wants a dedicated GPS and wanna be proud of the purchase. However, the reason I have four stars because sometimes when I type an address it takes a lot of time to find the route but when I speak the same address it finds it really quickly. I think it just a software issue and an update will improve it. Thanks Garmin for their amazing product.

I purchased this because I wanted to buy a dash cam, but when I found out I could get a Garmin with the dash cam I was sold. I originally purchased a larger screen Garmin, sold at a warehouse club, that broke after 2 weeks. This is perfect love the collision warning and side warnings. would recommend this to anyone. very easy to use. Only draw back is that even though I downloaded the updates to the Garmin, they are still sometimes out of date.

the garmin driveassist 50lmt is a great device..the onboard dashcam is really handy..clean crisp video,I added a 32 gb card and record several days of trips. ON a recent trip through atlanta the garmin kept me in the correct lanes and made the trip smoothly through the city. the price was cheaper than most dash cams alone..good purchase!

This unit far exceeds my expectation. Purchased this unit because my in dash GPS works when it wants to. Decided to purchase this Garmin. This unit was a good choice. It out preforms my friends GPS's hands down, and the built-in camera is awesome. Got it on sale and was price matched, what a bargain. Easy to use. I'm loving my new GPS!!!!

I really like this GSP unit. The voice command is useful although sometimes not accurate. Most of the time it is accurate though. Maps are mostly accurate from Garmin. It will make sure you get to where you want to go but sometimes it takes you out of the way to get there. The camera is easy to set up. Traffic cautions are useful but not always accurate. One of the best things about using this is for rerouting due to draw bridges, accidents or any other major delays. I have only had it for a month and it's saved me a couple times.

With the additional built-in safety features, such as lane departure warning, collision avoidance alerts, reduced speed alerts, heavy traffic alerts, and many more features, my Garmin GPS has become my co-pilot and navigator. I am extremely gratified with this purchase.

Gps and dash cam all In one is all I need for my business . I'm much safer on the road plus I can type 5 different addresses at a time. Only reason I won't give a 5star is because on address search it takes over 10-13 seconds for result to show but still an amazing gadget . I love it

Garmin - DriveaAssist!! It truly stands by its name. I totally love it and have found it to be of great help. The GPS suggests you to take a break with options to stop and relax. The camera is very useful and other features like forward collision, speed limit changes, crossing lane warnings are extremely helpful. It is so easy to search places. I would strongly recommend this to anyone who enjoys road trips.

I bought this for both the GPS and dash cam. The unit is easy to use. The dash cam is clear. I replaced a much older Garmin with the one and love Garmin products.

Love this GPS. I searched many GPS and I went with Garmin. The built in camera works great. This GPS does so much for the money, you can't beat the price.

Latitude, longitude, and MPH are overlaid on the dash cam video. Design of unit and mount are such that it is the cam lens does not attract a lot of attention IMO. I get approx. 1 hr of video on included 4GB (or 4 hrs on 32 GB) SDHC card at default resolution. Very satisfied with video quality. GPS Nav features (direction, exit lane help, speed limits) all work as expected. The safe driving features (lane departure warning etc) can be annoying. There are probably setting to modify those, but haven't looked.

With all the features of this GPS it is great. Easy to program easy to follow and the Bluetooth, Dash Cam, are very nice features.

Works well - Voice command pretty good although sometimes picks up radio and thinks your talking to it. Would like a way to change search option. When you look for a place near your destination and it finds it it gives you distance from current location, not distance from destination. It was nice on my old gps to see what resturants etc. where close to say a hotel I was going to stay at. This one is hard to tell how close. Camera is cool, lane assist also.

After researching many devices for my road trip, I am so happy I chose to purchase the Garmin - Driveassist 50lmt 5 Gps With Built-in Camera, Built-in Bluetooth. The device gave me many drive options to take from TX to FL with miles/arrival times. I also love the security of having the camara feature built in. The device also could be set up to advise when to stop for gas/rest on long drives. I absolutely love my new toy. Looking forward to many more road trips with my Garmin.
