    I love this bike GPS!!! I have done massive bike rides and huge adventures using this thing. Tough as nails also.

    Why use a cycling computer over a phone? Primary, they are way more accurate at tracking for GPS. Zoom into any recorded ride done on a cell phone and look how it jumps around. Cell phone GPS are designed to get you were you are to where you need to go. Bike GPS do that, but also make sure to record where you've been much more accurately, giving much more accurate distance, speed, ect. Better battery life, more durable in crashes. The Garmin computers can sometime be finicky with software, but overall this is an amazing computer that will last years. Often times they go on sale at places, so wait for those. Definitely get a heart rate monitor and cadence sensor with it. A power meter will also help you get the most out of it.
