Customers frequently mention the positive battery life, accurate heart rate tracking, and comfortable fit of the Vivosmart 3. Many appreciate its sleep and step tracking capabilities, along with its waterproof design. However, some users found the display difficult to read in bright sunlight or experienced issues with band durability and syncing. A few also noted the lack of built-in GPS as a drawback.

Easy to use & has a pretty long battery life. I only wish it also monitored blood pressure. Otherwise, we're very happy with them.

The Garmin Vivosmart3 is more comfortable to wear than other wrist type devices. Bluetooth connectivity and bi-directional communication is faster than many competing devices. Skin contact, as in all wrist type devices, is critical to accuracy, however, this device seems to be a bit more sensitive than others.

Easy to set up with my computer and fairly easy to use. But the display is hard to read in bright sun, I need to use my hand to shade the display to read it. Also the band is a part of tracker unit and if it breaks I guess you just have to throw the whole thing away.
it away.

I have been really pleased with how comfortable this tracker is . I don't wear a watch, so I thought that it might be uncomfortable but is really light and comfortable on my wrist. I bought this mostly for the heart rate monitor, and it seems to be pretty accurate based on readings I've done concurrently with other tracking equipment. I also like that it is completely waterproof. I have found that the sleep tracker corresponds pretty well to how I refreshed I feel when I wake up even if I slept the same amount of time when the tracker says I have more deep sleep I feel better.

My husband needed a waterproof tracker and this fit the bill. It conforms to his wrist, which allows him to wear it at work. Stays charged for at least 4 days.

Seems to be pretty accurate. Looking at data on the device is not intuitive. Phone app is better but would like to see a way to force it to sync immediately.
I like the fact that it's "waterproof", that is, I can swim with it.

Easy to set up, good battery life, and very durable. Simple reports to a connected phone. Would be nice to be able to directly set the stride length, but the process of a measured walk and steps is not too difficult.

I loved this band for what it tried to accomplish. It is sleek. Really comfortable. Don't even realize it's on. I used it along with my 935 since that is a big running watch. I thought it would be a better 24/7 tracker and I'd use the 935 for my outdoor workouts. Was good for a while, but began to notice that not having GPS built in really bothered me. If it had GPS I never would have returned it. In the end, I just decided the 935 would have to be enough until hopefully a GPS version comes out. Caveat....if you really just want activity tracking and not accurate outdoor activity tracking this thing is great.

I have used garmin watches before. The ones I had before where a bit bulky. This one is perfect. And track my steps well. I like that is silicone like so no scratches and no need for screen protector

The Vivosmart 3 watch can keep up with my busy lifestyle, from counting my steps to recording my stress levels. It monitors my sleep and keeps track of my heart rate to help me be more aware of my health habits and where I need to improve. It also connects to my phone to give me control of my music and review the trends of my everyday life. Also, it’s waterproof which is important to me because I enjoy water workouts. This watch does it all and I really enjoy it!

This is a great step, heart rate, miles, stress, floors climbed, etc monitor. Even better when paired with Garmin Connect app on smart phone. Very comfortable. Have to wear above wrist to monitor pulse correctly. Don't even know it's there. Battery lasts around 5 days between charges.

The device does everything to track activities. The only issue is that it’s band is integrated into the watch and the watch is curved so it’s not as wide as my wrist. I did buy the large. The band has broken 2x in 10 months. Customer service was great and replaced the entire unit both times. It just doesn’t fit. I’m 6’2” tall and 215. Not huge. It’s a design flaw. If it fits you it’s a great product.

I decided to buy this vivo 3 for a few reasons and have been happy with my choice(I upgraded from the vivofit HR). I like the features that this one has that the previous one did not. I really like the lower profile of the unit itself. It is not as bulky and much easier to sleep in. Having your heart rate available in spin class without having a chest strap to deal with is the best.

Lower profile not s very good heart rate monitor says I gave t hit a rate high enough. But yet I can’t breathe normally? Tends to start an activity tracking randomly. But still better than my previous garmin.

My main reason for this purchase was to track my Sleep. I agree that it gives a ball park information, but you are required to input what time you usually fall asleep. I love the Notifications feature. The step count doesn't really work for example I drive around for my job at a low rate of speed and the device thinks that you are walking. Waterproof Feature is an absolute must.

This is my first Garmin device and it is amazing! Very durable, easy to use, extremely accurate at step tracking. The Garmin app is easy to read and quickly connects when syncing. The app is also very versatile and is able to integrate information from many other apps to track specific activities. You will enjoy this!
