My 10 year old loves tracking his steps and challenging his sister to races. He was very excited for the interactive game as well, unfortunately the game is within the parental control app and not something he can access without also being able to alter settings I have in place. I wish the kids game portion was an app I could load onto the kid's tablet.

We recently purchased this for my 6 year old daughter. I have to say, it is a great motivator. I think it is fairly accurate in its activity monitoring, but the best part is that it provides great incentive to do chores. My only complaint is the screen brightness. When we first got it, it was so dark I thought it was broke. After having it for a while, if you look at it at different viewing angles, you might be able to see color - so I guess its all right. All-in-all, despite the screen, I think it was worth it.

worked great, right out of the box (unlike the Fitbit Ace2 for kids). Screen is easy for my 7 yr to see and navigate the functions. The step counting and connection to the ipad app for "rewards" is fun too. Screen brightness is a little dim to me, but that's an understandable tradeoff for using a battery, rather than needing to charge it regularly (something my kid would not remember to do). doesn't seem to be an issue for a child to see. Would buy again.

we are loving this fitness tracker for my 8 year old. originally we purchased it to help keep track of steps and 60 minutes of activity every day. However, while we like those features, we are LOVING the ability to set tasks and reminders via chores in the app. This has been an amazing shift of confidence for my son, the alert goes off for a specific task and he accomplishes it on his own, without me asking multiple times. We use it for everything from brushing teeth, vitamins, reminders to eat lunch, time to log in to school for distance learning... he loves the independence of everything and I love that I do not need to keep hassling for him to get things done. Very easy to use, he loves the interface and uses the timer quite a bit for different things, and I love that it is very easy for me to keep track on the app on my phone. I am so glad that I bought this version instead of some cheaper option on Amazon. Well worth the cost.

Pros: the bands on the 2nd generation are adjustable. It’s water resistant. No need to charge. Kid friendly. Safe. Cons: stops working after 18 months or so. Luckily we use the geek squad protection to repair or replace it.

Bought this for my 6 yr old granddaughter and she loves it. It is now June and she is still using it. We went on a walk and she and her brother were competing to see how many steps they could get in. I had bought the spider man one for him at Christmas and he is 8 yrs. All in all a good purchase.

My daughter has used it well, and is always excited to show me whenever she goes over 10,000 steps. Its a good silent motivator to be a little more active. The app is a little less user friendly, hence the 4 stars, but the tracker itself has been great

This is a great little watch that also tracks my kids activity. They are a bit expensive for what they do, but it has worked and does make my kids more conscious about being active and how active they are. They live meeting their daily goals

I bought this for my daughter for Christmas. After doing some research about battery issues I bought best buys warranty with it so if I have any issues hopefully that will help. So far the watch is pretty cool. She loves having a watch, its waterproof so I don't have to worry about her getting it wet. It says her name on the home screen and has good fitness tracking for her. I don't like the simplicity of the one button. You have to scroll through options by clicking and holding the one button over and over again. It has a chore chart and reward system but its difficult to use on the watch itself. Overall I still think it's a neat option for kids and she enjoys it.

My daughter loves her watch. She loves hitting her activity time goals and earning extra moves for the game found in the app. I love that it is waterproof and she doesn’t have to take it off often. I also like that it has alarms to wake her up.

I bought a couple of these for Christmas 2018 for my nieces. So far, so good! They do not take them off and they are still working! It's now June tomorrow and they wear them to the pool, shower, soccer games, everywhere... it's a great way to introduce independence to little ones bc you can program tasks/chores for your kids. My sister utilizes it to remind the girls that it's homework time, chore time, bed time and more so that they can earn coins. The girls love the games that come with the app too. The best part is the competition they have with one another to see who is more active. Some fit kids coming your way!

Gifted this to my daughter for Christmas 2021 since her original Vivofit Jr's display lost pixels. She's had the original Vivofit Jr for about 5 years and we like it because there is no battery that needs to be re-charged regularly. It runs on a easily replaceable button cell battery that lasts about 1 year. We don't need all the bells and whistles just needed step counter, active minutes counter, and a clock. There are other functions but we just stick to the basics. She's tickled that it has a color display.

My grandson really likes my smartwatch and wanted his own. I looked at a few cheap ones and a few designed for kids and decided on this one because it doesn't have to be charged all the time so I don't have to worry about it not being charged when he wants to use it. The screen is pretty small but you can see the information you need and it does light up minimally if you hold the button. It also fits my grandson well even though he's on the small side. The most important thing is my grandson likes it and wants to watch the numbers go up, so it's a great motivator!
