I needed a small washer due to the size of our laundry area. I also wanted to stay away from front loaders and this seemed like the perfect choice. It was relatively quiet, so much so that I thought it might have been broken. I was very surprised at how it used a little water but still got my clothes clean. It has just the right amount of settings making it easy to use. Very happy with my purchase.

Does a really good job cleaning clothes at reduced water consumption and at an acceptable nose level. Pretty much what we expected from reading the reviews. However it is just a little disturbing to see it shake a lot in spin cycle, but without walking away though., So I remedied it by not watching it.

Our GTW330ASKWW was delivered to our house on 12/18/2018 and I installed it and the matching Dryer GTD33GASKWW. The washing machine works great and yes (clean clothes). Yes it is a little louder than the old washer and vibrates some but it's level and does not move. I like the old school usage of the controls not all that push button crap that always fails after time. My wife loves the clean appearance and style of Both washer and dryer. I would recommend if you need a dryer to get the matching dryer with it. The dryer is great! I really like the ability to choose the waster fill! I say YES to this setup.

The washer itself is compact for our space without going stackable. It holds up to a family of four, but I wish it had some extra features and was a bit more quiet. The noise is the only reason it gets 4 instead of 5 stars

Good old fashioned agitator, simple buttons, no fancy bells and whistles to break!! My husband is a repairman and says the new fancy ones break and are expensive to fix! This works very well, but in my opinion makes some louder noises starting up than my old one. More noticeable for us since it's upstairs? Anyway, still happy with purchase.

This replaced a Maytag Centennial unit that had many issues. Finally it decided that spinning and draining was no longer an option, so I started reading washer reviews on-line. I wanted a top loading machine with as few "bells and whistles" as possible. Do I really need a washer on which I can dial in the type of stain it will be washing?! NO! I have had this unit for about 4 weeks. So far, I am very pleased with its performance. I have done loads ranging from small to large, normal and delicate, from warm to cold wash cycle. Yes, there are noises in operation different from my previous machine, but the end results have been very good.Happy enough that I may replace my dryer with the GE model to match.

We bought this because my wife wanted a washing machine with an agitator. It does the job we bought it for, and like other buyers noted, it does get the water out of the clothes at the end of the spin cycle quite well. It isn't the largest or greatest washer out there, but it does a fine job. It is a little noisy as others have mentioned, but we haven't found it to be unacceptably so. We are happy so far.

Have had this for over 6 months now. Cleans well, agitator is effective if a little harsh on some cotton causing signs of wear/holes quicker than would be expected.

runs quiet. cleans clothes very well. final spin gets removes more water from clothes so you can reduce dryer time. a big difference from my 12 year old machine. and price was right.

Washer does a very good job of cleaning clothes. The size is more than adequate for our washing. The drawbacks are that it is somewhat noisy and takes longer to complete the load.

I have had this washer for about 3 months & got a great deal. I am glad I got this one since it has an agitator. There has been a time where it didn’t drain all the water, but not sure if it’s because I change the type of setting from regular cycle to quick while it was working. In my opinion, this washer cleans clothes better compared to my previous water saving washer that didn’t have the agitator. Most of my sons dark shirts would have a white wring (usually by the neck area) when they got sweaty playing. It has not happened yet since I bought this new washer, so I’m very happy!

I like the water level choices, temperature, and load choices. It's not exactly quiet but not really loud either. I like when it sings when its done. Washes a large load and the clothes come out clean.

Would have been 5 Stars if the delivery guys, who were super nice, installed it correctly. They seemed too busy to measure the space accurately, something I did like 5 times before buying, but they sure took my tip for carrying it up a flight of stairs right quick. They just let it be oversized for the space and told me to return it for a smaller size. I was able to mavuever it to fit snugly into the space I had. Otherwise, the washer is freaking awesome. Minimal water is used. It seems to measure the load before filling. It's quiet and efficient, my clothes always come out clean. The spin cycle has also reduced energy for the dryer.

We just replaced our Maytag with this washer and although it is a bit loud, it gets nearly all the water out of the clothes on the spin cycle and outperforms the much more expensive Maytag washer by far. I would highly recommend this to anyone.

Bought this washer to replace an older model. It has the larger 3.8 cf tub, which is really nice for large bedding. It's not the quietest washer, but a lot quieter than the old one. It does a good job of washing and like the "precise fill" fill setting. It takes the guess work out of how much water to put in.

Wanted an easy to operate washing machine with agitator. The GE was the perfect fit for this house husband!

I love my new washer. It will even hold a queen size comforter and is very capable of getting it clean. Was definitely worth the price.

I've been satisfied with this washer. It is a good size for one to two people. Nothing fancy, just your basics. I like that the lid doesn't lock during the fill cycle, so if I forget to add something, I can open it before the wash cycle starts. I can check the water level, too, and am able to add water by selecting the deep rinse button. Really nice features that I didn't have on my last washer. It does a good job of cleaning. I would have given it 5 stars except the spin cycle goes several minutes longer than necessary.
