Love these switches for my dumb non dimming lights. C by GE App connected easily but it took a few minutes to figure out how to connect them to my EHCO for voice control. It requires enabling an Alexa skill. The instructions were lacking in this department. The only thing I don't like is that the toggle does not work directionally like a regular old fashion switch. The toggle is bi-directional. You can press up or down to make the light turn on or off. Example if the light is on and you press the toggle up the light will turn off and vis a versa. Problem mainly arises in the two switches that I have side by side. If one light is off and I want to turn the other light off, but accidently hit both switches down the light that was off turns on.

These work great and installation directions very straightforward. Won’t work without a neutral wire, but most homes built in the last 20 years will have them. Software allows you to remotely activate the switch or set up schedules, to include “groups” to control multiple switches at the same time. Works great to automatically turn on my outdoor lights at dusk and dawn.

They work as advertised. Easy setup. Integrates with Alexa just fine. My complaint is, 1) it uses a lot of space in the electrical box. Instead of inserting the wires directly into the switch, it uses wire nuts that are bulky. 2) it comes with a single wall plate cover. If you're using it in a gang box with multiple switches, good luck trying to find a wall plate that will support the thickness that the switch adds from the wall. I have yet to find something compatible.

Easy to install, but sticks out a little farther than the normal switch. Works great though. A nice simple alternative to give you a smart light. I use the schedule feature too.

Good smart solution to for anything powered on or off with a light switch. I used it for ceiling can lights (that are on a 15 ft high ceiling) and for ceiling fans. Easy to install. Doesn't work as well with 3 way light switches but still ok. I bought them while they were a "top deal of the day"

Works well with Alexa and no hub required. Installation and setup was easy. An excellent modern device with a traditional rocker switch look.

I really liked GE old smart switches. the app is a little hard to use at first. it had trouble connection and keep connection to the switches. Once connect things started working a lot better. Installation was easy and came with everything you needed!

The switch is easy to install and set up on the app. It works great to set up a schedule for have the lights come on in the evening and then turn off in the morning. Highly recommend.

Works as advertised. I use it with Google home and set it for sunset/sunrise. Works with Google assistant. Fits in standard boxes and standard wall plates. Note: the switch will not stay up or down. It is always in the center position. You MUST have the white neutral wires for this to work.

Bought this for our outdoor pool lights control, the instruction for installation was very clear and simple, all the parts fit well together. The controls were very simple to use.

Good:It does what it's suppose to, wiring was easy. Setup was easy. I will probably buy more. Don't let my cons scare you away.. it's really not a big deal. Just know what to expect. The cons: I didn't install it as a single wall switch.. so this may not apply to you if you do install it as a single wall switch. We're the switch screws to the wall..the ge switch is thicker than a standard switch so this creates a one side offset, so it leaves a gap between the plate and the wall. I found another brand switch plate that gave it enough clearance to sit flat on the wall. The second part was the plate screws.. they will bottom out on the ge switch long before they tighten.. solution was got some shorter screws painted them white. Again this doesn't apply if you are using their switch plate in a single wall switch instance. The other thing the Google home integration I have seen it show offline in Google Home app, but the router sees it and the ge app sees it and can communicate. Seems to be a code bug.. not a deal breaker.

Installing the switch was very simple. One style issue is that there’s no indicator whether it’s on or off. No worries for me though as I run it on automation for an outdoor flood light. The automation works sunset to sunrise and spares me from wasting power when I forget to turn the switch off. The app needs work with regards to Google and HomeKit. Can’t seem to get them connected right. Hopefully updates to app will rectify these issues. Otherwise it’s great!

I was looking for a switch that could be used to control lights while I am away and one that could be operated manually. This option fro GE fit the bill perfectly Now to see how it holds up to heavy use and how long it will last.

Good replacement for standard switch but a little hard to maneuver in a multi gang box. GE app not very useful but Google Home had the dusk to dawn functionality I needed.

Great option to control lights or outlets around your home. This allows you to not only use your smart phone, Alexa, Google, but also control multiple devices with this one. We set up up (with several other C by GE devices) so when we activate this switch (connect to one outside flight fixture) it turns on all my outside lights. Very great option improving our safety and security.

Easy to setup and works well. Prefer to have it work with google rather than with its own app. It’s great if you have the older toggle switches and only want to replace one of the switches with a smart switch. Perfect fit into an old toggle face plate.

Great product and easy to install, app could be a little better.

Flaky. Wifi doesn’t work well and their three way claims are super iffy. Easy to install. Drives me nuts that it’s a toggle. Like pushing down should turn it off, not toggle it.
