    Great Combo Oven

I downselected to this unit to replace a perfectly good toaster oven and a great air fryer. This one saves precious counter space and works better than the other appliances. It heats quickly and surprisingly uniformly. The high-tech appearance is very attractive. So far it's worked well as an air fryer, an oven, and toaster. We're trying to use as often as possible to see what it can do and so far I'm very pleased. The WiFi feature is probably unnecessary, but it works and might be useful to let you know when it's program is complete when away from the kitchen. A little pricey, but saving space makes it worthwhile.

I’ve been using this air fryer for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. It heats up quickly, cooks evenly, and delivers that crispy texture without all the oil. I’ve tried fries, chicken wings, salmon, and even veggies—everything comes out perfectly cooked and delicious. The controls are intuitive, and the basket is easy to clean, which is a huge plus. It’s also surprisingly quiet while running. I love that it saves time and makes healthier meals without sacrificing taste. Definitely one of the best kitchen gadgets I’ve bought in years! Highly recommend for anyone looking to simplify cooking and eat a bit healthier.

By far is the most efficient, elegant, modern, and smart all-in-one countertop oven. The design and build quality are amazing and this small oven performs as a full-size oven without a compromise. The size is perfect for my kitchen countertop and saved me a lot of space. The design looks nice and adds a great look to my kitchen countertop. My AirFryer and toaster had to be gone since this oven serves as a replacement for them. Built-in cook modes are helpful and convenient so all I need to do is to touch and select the mode that I want and that is all Cook. Modes are warm, reheat, toast, bagel, broil, roast, pizza, cookies, pastry, bake, and air fry. Before using the oven, I followed the first-use recommendation which is to operate the oven while empty on Air Fay mode for 20 minutes at 450 temp to ensure any protective substances are gone and the oven is safe to use. I baked some pastries and fried chicken breasts. The built-in modes set its temp and timer automatically and it turned out perfect cooking. bagels mode browns the top while keeping the inside soft. What amazes me is the instant heating as this oven does not need a preheat and reduces cook time noticeably. The self-presenting pan is really great feature. When I needed to check the cooking progress, I was looking through the window and also press to open the oven door and the pan popped out automatically. It is smartly designed to save hands from being touched and burned. The touchable control panel has a nice design and controls are very responsive. The cooking progress can be monitored by looking at the timer and also the colorful bar along the control panel that changes as the timer is counting down. I have another smart GE full-size oven that is already connected to the SmartHQ app so I added this new countertop oven to it and was able to fully control it from the app even the cavity light can be turned on/off through the app. Full control and notification are handy and gave me the convenience to preheat my food before heading home from work. In addition, the crumb tray is good to have and easy to pull out and clean it. I Couldn't be happier with this oven. I'm just in love with the oven, from the size to the easy operation, and controlling it through the app on my smartphone just makes it the best in this segment if not it is the ONLY to provide this plenty of features in such compact design. Very well designed and the quality is certainly GE. I have no doubt and have never been disappointed by GE products for a long owner of their products but this oven is my favorite and it is GE Profile which is the high-end product line.

Good Toaster Oven With Added Air Fryer Functions

I was intrigued by this product because it promised to unite two of my thoughts about small appliances: I have always appreciated the convenience of toaster ovens, and I've been curious about air fryers but have never owned one. With the GE 11-in-1, I could finally test out air frying without sacrificing additional kitchen counter space. No installation was necessary; however, I could have downloaded the app, which provides recipes and allows for setting time, temperature, and other cooking options. (Note that even if you use the app to set options, you still must press the button on the oven to start it.) After running a break-in cycle, my first cooking experience with the oven was with chicken parmesan in air fryer mode. I was impressed with how quickly and thoroughly it cooked the chicken, and it was nice to not deal with the oil and grease from frying the chicken in a pan. The chicken was juicy, tender, and crispy, and even reheated pretty well. As for other positive features, the musical note alerts are a nice change from the typical beeps of similar appliances. The oven's door opening is unique and functional - the door lifts up and the wire rack is partially ejected. In addition to the numerical timer, there is also a digital light bar display that shows the cooking progression. The app also provides pop-up notifications when your food is ready. Finally, I like that no preheating is necessary. My previous toaster oven allowed for a 13-inch pizza pan; unfortunately, although this oven is wider, the depth is only 12 inches, so the pan won't fit. This seems to be an oversight. Another downside is that when I was toasting slices of bread back to back, the oven seemed to retain the heat from one cycle to the next, so the second slice of bread I toasted was a little overdone. In addition, the default toaster setting of 4 results in a pretty dark piece of toast. In conclusion, I would recommend this oven to anyone looking for a conventional toaster oven but with the bonus functionality of an air fryer.

Tl;dr The GE Profile name suits the Smart toaster well. It’s elegant design will fit into nearly any kitchen. “Smart” is an over statement, but the toaster delivers where it really matters, even heat, fast starts, flexible cooking options. A bit overpriced for the functionality delivered, but may be worth it for the design. Full Review: GE’s Profile “Smart” oven is an example of appliances getting out of control. I have a lot of smart devices around my house. I have smart light switches, a smart TV, a smart washer, and a smart garage door opener. I thought I might need a smart toaster oven when it came time to replace what I have. I learned there are some things which should be left the traditional way. It took a couple of tries to get the app to connect to the toaster. I ended up uninstalling and re-installing the app on my Samsung phone before it would connect. Once it was connected, the main function it provided was setting the time and temperature based on recipes that I could create or find in it’s directory. I was excited to try this out, only to find out that I couldn’t actually turn on the toaster remotely. GE notes this is done for safety reasons to assure the food is loaded and the door is closed properly. At the end of the cooking cycle, the toaster will “sing”. It has a short song with 1 minute left on the clock and a longer one when the cycle is complete. I made the mistake of taking my toast out too soon the first time I used it as I wasn’t paying attention to the upwards facing timer. I also failed to notice the very elegant color bar which moves from blue to violet as your food approaches completion. Unfortunately, the app never told me my toast was crisp and hot as I was hoping it would. I only knew it was done by hearing the long song. Aside from the app, the toaster worked very well. Toast was crisp throughout and was presented nicely with the middle rack pushing out as soon as the door was opened. Harkening back to the ToastR’ Ovens in the 70’s, the door rises upwards like a garage. It’s compact path means it will fit under most cabinets. I have 18” between my counter and my cabinets and the toaster could open with out any issues. It looks great on the counter with a very elegant, touch sensitive control panel. The unit is fairly well insulted. I wouldn’t leave plastic bags on top of it, but you won’t get burned with a quick touch like some toasters will. It’s solidly made with a thick cord that I expect will hold up over time. In addition to toast, I also made frozen pizza and tater tots in the oven. Both worked very well. The pizza went on top of the rack with the tray underneath in case any of the cheese spilled. There’s a pizza mode which helped ensure the crust was crispy, the cheese was golden brown, and the vegetables were ready for the table. As advertised, no pre-heating was needed. I set the temperature and timer according to the package and put the pizza in the over. At the end of the cycle, the pizza came out exactly as I was expecting, including a crispy crust. The last thing I tried was tater tots. This is one of my guilty pleasures and I like my tots to be very crispy on the outside, but soft on the inside. The profile toaster over gets this part mostly right. While our air fryer get them just a tad crisper, the results from the GE Profile toaster would be very tasty for nearly anyone.

Cooks great - a couple of foibles from perfection

Having recently purchased a GE Profile wall oven with Wi-Fi etc I was really looking forward to testing out its smaller counter-top sibling. I was not disappointed as it’s like having a small portable wall oven with all its functionality. I love the way it cooks and would recommend it with 4.5 stars. Unboxing was easy but the unit is a tad heavy at 28 lbs. Using built in handles on the bottom of the sides, just lift onto the counter and plug in. It does recommend cleaning all components as well as running oven empty for 20 minutes at 450 to burn off any protective substances before using – appetizing thought, yes? Comes with about a 34-inch power cord that winds neatly in the back to adjust. I already had the app since I have the wall oven, so I just added this device to it. Connecting to Wi-Fi It does have its benefits, allowing for over-the-air updates (there have been a few for the wall oven) and being able to keep track of cooking processes such as alerts when done, etc. which are nice. The manual pretty much covers components, set-up, usage, cleaning and troubleshooting. Comes with front removable crumb tray in bottom, rectangle (deep) baking pan, wire rack, sheet rack (fits inside baking pan) and air fry basket. The oven itself is nicely constructed with multiple rack positions and large glass window for viewing cooking action with a bright light to help aluminate the proceedings. The center rack is termed self-presenting in that it has push pins in the back that the rack(s) slide into allowing it to move forward a little when door is opened and slide back when closing door, which is a nice feature but has a weight limit of 15 lbs. The touchpad on the base of the oven is easy to use and clearly marked. Some settings require touching multiple buttons to access – such as Wi-Fi setup, loc (lock controls), etc. which complicates things a little. Cooking modes: Warm Toast Broil Pizza Pastry Remote (allows for oven access thru app) Reheat Bagel Roast Cookies Bake Air Fry Controls: Conv (turn convection on/off) Temp/Shade (temp for cooking shade for toasting) +2 Min (adds 2 minutes to cooking time – comes in very handy) Timer/Slice (set cooking time or number of slices being toasted) Start Cancel On/Off button (to turn off you press for a could of seconds to ensure no accidental touching turns oven off) Wifi Indicator As far as cooking is concerned it works very well, especially with a 500-degree max temp. We tried convection baking 2 rock Cornish hens – came out great. Tried pizza using pizza setting which turned out well but it only took 80% of the time as I think it is set for frozen pizza and ours was not. Tried air frying 2 chicken breasts and 2 leg quarters - and while messy -they came out very nicely browned with crunchy skin and juicy. Same for air frying tater tots – came out crisp on outside. It is quiet during operation. I don’t see toasting anything as we have a muti slice toaster we like very much. But could come in handy for thickly sliced French bread or overly large bagels, etc. No preheating required is a fantastic time and energy saver. Nor do you have to heat a huge oven when you don’t need to. 1 year parts warranty Downsides; The center rack “present” function is nice but when I air fried the chicken pieces (using air fryer basket which is mesh) it allowed grease to drip onto the front panel. To be fair, the manual suggests using the baking pan for meat when air frying, which I used in the bottom to catch all the drippings - which worked fine. The door moving up and over the top of the oven is nice as you are less likely to burn yourself or have someone bump into open door - but it makes cleaning the inside of it a tad more difficult. Also need additional space above oven to allow for door clearance. Cleaning the inside of any counter/toaster oven is always a challenge and this one is no different. Heating elements to clean a round, tight space, etc. – all to be expected. It states and shows a picture of 12-inch pizza in oven. 12-inch will fit - but just barely – and seems it needs to be frozen or at least pre-baked (must set on open rack). Even then it was a tight fit so I cut off an inch or so small section to flatten out the area going towards back of oven for better fit. If you like to make/use fresh dough, as we do, that doesn’t work using the rack. A round 12-inch pizza pan does not fit due to lip (we have several different pans, and none allowed door to close). I searched the web and have ordered an 11 inch pan I hope will fit – will update after it arrives. Using the provided rectangle baking pan just didn’t appeal to me due to its shape and how deep it is. Why not make the oven 1 inch deeper? Also states a 7 lb. chicken should fit. I tried a 5.9 lb. and it only fit if I did not use the sheet rack inside baking pan on bottom rung. Baking pan is only accessory that is dish washer safe. Crumb tray, racks and air fryer basket are all hand washed. Outside gets warm so make sure it is an area with ventilation and keep “little” hands away. Overall, a great oven with just a couple of foibles from being perfect and would recommend.

Am a big fan of the Airfryers as it uses very less oil and does the cooking in no time with very little effort because of this i have used multiple ovens from different manufacturers but the GE Profile Smart Oven with No Preheat is a true game changer in the world of counter top kitchen appliances. This innovative oven is made to eliminate the need for preheating, which is a time saver for busy people who want to get there food cooked as quickly as possible. This oven does lot more than just an Airfryer. One of the nicest feature of this oven is the ability to connect with your wifi network. This makes your job more easy to control the oven remotely, using your smartphone or other mobile devices. Whether, you want check on the progress of your meal, adjust the temperature, or set a timer with just a few taps on your screen. This level of convenience is truly unparalleled. Of course, a smart oven wouldn't be worth much if it didn't deliver top-notch performance in the kitchen. Fortunately, the GE Profile Smart Oven more than lives up to expectations in this regard. The oven features true European convection, which means that it has a third heating element and a fan to circulate hot air throughout the oven cavity. This creates a more even cooking temperature and ensures that your food cooks evenly and quickly, without any hot spots or burnt edges. But perhaps the best thing about the 11 in 1 Oven is its versatility. The oven has a multiple range of cooking options, including bake, broil, Airfry, Toast, convection bake, convection roast, and lot more. This also got a pizza mode too which is perfect for making homemade bread or pizza. And if you're not sure which mode to use for a particular recipe, the oven builtin recipe database can offer suggestions and even adjust the cooking time and temperature. Of course, all of these features would be for naught if the GE Profile Smart Oven didn't look great in your kitchen. Fortunately, this oven is a true stunner. It has a very sleek modern design with a black glass finish and black stainless steel trim this will look great in any contemporary kitchen. The oven door is also impressively large, providing easy access to the interior and making it easy to slide in and remove even the largest baking sheets or roasting pans, the interior is made up of stainless steel with lots of ventilation and all controls and modes are touch sensitive which is very refreshing unlike traditional dials it look very hifi too. This oven comes with all required accessories and there is a tray below the oven to collect all drips and waste All in all, the GE Profile Smart Oven with No Preheat is an absolute must-have for any serious home cook. With its latest tech, impressive performance, and durable stylish design, it will for sure make meal prep a breeze and add a touch of sophistication to your kitchen. Treat yourself to the ultimate in oven technology and start enjoying delicious, perfectly cooked meals in no time!

The GE Profile 11-in-1 6-Slice Smart Convection Toaster Oven with Air Fry is a great addition to any kitchen. It is one of the most versatile appliances out right now in that it can handle a variety of cooking tasks, from toasting bread to air frying chicken wings. The first thing you'll notice about the toaster oven is its sleek design. The black finish and stainless steel accents give it a modern, high-end look that will fit in with any kitchen decor. It has a built in RGB light strip that moves along the width of the over as the timer goes. The oven is also compact enough to fit on most countertops coming in at 16in x17.5in x 11.5in, making it ideal for small kitchens where it doesn't take up too much space One of the standout features of the GE Profile toaster oven is its 11-in-1 functionality. It can be used as a traditional toaster oven, a convection oven, or an air fryer. I’m coming from a traditional air fryer and used the air fryer setting and input the same setting for my old one and the chicken in the GE tasted so much better than my old Air fryer. This versatility means users can cook a variety of dishes with just one appliance, saving time and countertop space. The oven also features smart technology, allowing you to control it using the GE smartphone app “SmartHQ” or voice commands through your Alexa or Google Assistant. The app provides access to recipes, cooking guides, and temperature control, making it easy to cook meals to perfection every time. It allows you to set favorites cooking settings so just select the cooking mode, temperature, and timer then hit save and next time just pop the food in the oven and click the your favorite preset and it will start cooking. One of the best features of the GE Profile is just how quiet it is compared to most air fryers in that it's at least 50% quieter when cooking. Overall, the GE Profile - 11-in-1 6-Slice Smart Convection Toaster Oven with Air Fry - Black is a versatile and convenient appliance that is perfect for anyone who cooks a lot but doesn't want to clutter their kitchen with so many other cooking devices . i Hihgly recommend this device.

One of the biggest gripes that have come with using a convection oven has been the preheat waiting... GE solved this problem by removing the preheat, and hitting the desired temperature almost immediately. With that out of the way, the oven does have some nice features, but nothing that really sets itself out from the other air fryer/everything else small appliances that are available. There are plenty of presets to choose from. I tested it out with frozen pizza, and it over toasted the crust, but other than that, it heated up the pizza well enough. The oven is not quite as large as I expected. For example, you can bake about a half dozen cookies, or bake a whole chicken, but it's not built for baking larger items. The oven itself feels like something that would belong in a college dorm room rather than a kitchen. It works well as a secondary go to when the primary oven is already occupied. It has an industrial feel to it rather than a modern small kitchen appliance. I get most of that feeling from the door. I like that the door opens with a push of the button at the base, but it would have been really nice if that button was a haptic push button, and it closed by pressing the same button. All in all, the design engineers did an okay job, but it's not something I would say is groundbreaking. I like the attempt that GE makes in making what looks like an advance toaster oven, and adds a lot of modern features to it.

We really like the GE Smart Oven. I keep looking at reviews of toaster oven/air fryers, and nobody ever gives this any notice. It works great! We use it as a toaster, oven, air fryer, pizza oven, and it has lots more easy to use settings. I agree with the reviews that say the no preheat is very convenient and also agree that it generally needs an extra minute or two compared to the recipe. Compared to the time it takes to preheat an oven, you're still ahead of the game. Another thing about the GE Smart Oven is, I think it looks great! The black finish and glass touch control panel have a very modern look. One thing I do find inconvenient about the GE oven is cleaning the inside of the oven door. I haven't needed to do it once or twice, but it is awkward to get to the inside of the door. If you are in the market for a really nice toaster oven/air fryer, put this one at the top of your list!

    Unique Toaster Oven with Quirks

Pros Quick to heat up Doesn’t lose much to case Right angled plug Built in light Has a convection option Smart connected Convection function can be used for toasting Touch buttons less likely to fail than membrane buttons Progress light makes time reaming easy to see Crumb tray appears to be nonstick Cons Front door operation requires more space Front door operation feels unusually hard Convection fan makes sounds like it is faulty Doesn’t fit standard 13inch pan for 12inch pizza Touch control panel is a fingerprint magnet Front glass is hard to clean Time can’t always be manually adjusted Only even numbers for number of toast Smart functions very limited Toasting doesn’t account for heat buildup Toasting uneven top to bottom Only has 15 guided recipes Grating is not dishwasher safe and is hard to clean manually Crumb tray pulls crumbs off tray when removing Design and Setup The GE Profile Smart Toaster Oven has a versatile feature set and considering the temperature range likely has more capabilities. The design is a modern, sleek, gloss black front and matt black housing. When off there aren’t buttons and knobs showing. Different from most toasters is how the control panel is on the bottom and angled at about 45 degrees. The buttons are touch sensitive instead of membrane buttons which means they will likely last much longer. The door also swings up and back instead of down and out. This might sound like a problem but if you are keeping the recommended 4 inches of clearance on all sides it should not be an issue. It also has a built-in oven light which is a bit unique for its size, and a welcomed addition. Also, a nice touch is the cord organizer on the back of the unit. Even though you need to keep 4 inches of space behind the unit you are likely to have extra cord. With the organizer you wrap the extra around the organizer and keep the counter uncluttered. It also has a right-angled plug which makes placement easier. Usage and Performance The idea of a smart toaster oven sounds nice. Control and see the status of your oven as well as follow recipes and let the app optimize the oven for you. This is only partly true with the GE Profile Smart Oven. You can control it remotely in the app if you have pressed the remote button on the front panel within 10 minutes of setting up a cook. You can follow guided recipes, but you are limited to 15 at the time of writing this review. Other GE appliances have the ability to make announcements over Sonos speakers, such as your timer is done. This oven does not show up as compatible. Maybe they could add that in the future. One item that can prove very useful is saving oven presets. Within the app you can set what mode you want the oven in, what temperature you want set, and how long the timer will run. You then save the favorite and give it a name. Have a preferred setting for your pizza? Set a favorite, if the pizza is frozen or fresh, thin or regular crust, and save the favorite and you don’t have to manually set it anymore. The only catch is you can choose a favorite directly from the oven. You must use the app. Toasting performance was inconsistent and requires learning the oven’s quirks. First, if you want a single piece of toast or any odd number you cannot choose it. It only allows toast settings for even slices. Next, if you need to tweak the toast time up or down after the toasting has started you cannot so if you know your bread or bagel is close to done but you have too much time left you cannot reduce the time. Your options are to cancel the current toast and start a new one or sit and watch the current and cancel when it is done. Even toasting is a bit of a challenge with this oven. Often toast will come out uncooked on the bottom and golden on top. At first, we thought it was a wrong setting, but we have verified it was on toast. A workaround we have found is to turn on convection when toasting. It toasts slower but much more even. It seems that back-to-back usage also was not considered in the design. Toaster ovens get hotter with each consecutive use. Some toaster ovens compensate for this temperature drift when toasting to make sure each batch toasts consistently. This Profile Smart Oven does not appear to do this as each batch of toast on the same settings with the same bread produced inconsistent results. It was nothing unusable but a little more of a manual process than preferred for a smart toaster oven. On a positive note, if you are not standing near the oven, it sends an alert to your phone 1 minute before it is done. It has come in handy on several occasions where family have become distracted and forgot they left something in the oven. Overall, while toasting is usable it seems it was not of high importance in the design. Regular oven type functions seem more what this Smart Oven was primarily designed for. Regardless of baking or air frying the task was very simple and quick. It does seem to heat up quick and it is helpful to not have to start the oven well before you start your recipe. The little light in the back is also a nice touch and more convenient than the flashlight we are used to using to check on food. There is a bit of confusion on the air frying as it instructs you to put meats in the tray so as not to have drippings go to the bottom of the oven but what is strange is it doesn’t even show using the grating that goes in the tray. You would think that to air fry at least using the grating that goes inside the baking tray would be helpful, but it shows you air fry the same as baking. Trying this with bacon meant it was cooking in the bacon grease instead of air frying. If you are wanting more crispy, less greasy bacon you might ignore the instructions and put the bacon on the grating inside the cooking tray. Regardless of if we are air frying or doing regular baking, we almost always have the convection fan on as it cooks much more even. It also speeds up cooking time. While this might be specific to our unit it is worth noting that the convection fan is noisy. The first startup it sounded dry and sounded like we had a little engine running in the toaster. After warming up it calmed down but even now it often sounds like there is a little motorcycle running in our oven. It doesn’t sound like it is supposed to make that noise and sometimes even when it turns off you can hear the convection fan scraping. It makes a metal on metal sound. What is strange is it isn’t all the time. Again, this might be something with our unit, but our box didn’t even have the slightest bit of damage. Our previous toaster made the same sound but only after it was several years old, and it continued to work long afterwards but this just seems odd brand new. One feature shown is how you can make up to a 12-inch pizza in the oven. Our family regularly has pizza, and we are always experimenting with new recipes but haven’t mastered making a consistently round crust. That said, the idea of an oven that can heat up quickly, so we spend less time cooking sounds great. While technically it can cook a 12-inch pizza, it has trouble cooking with a pan. A pizza pan for a 12-inch pizza is typically 13 inches. This oven is exactly 12 inches deep. We aren’t going to cook without a pan and get grease and cheese everywhere, but our regular pan wouldn’t work. The only option we found at the time was disposable paper trays that we can bend into the oven. It’s a special type of paper that can last for an hour in an oven safely but unfortunately this solution also prevents a crispy crust. So far, we haven’t had luck finding a proper pizza pan that fits. The oven door opening up instead of down is interesting and looks nice, but it is uncertain if there is really any advantage. It does lift the door out of your way but the traditional door that hinges down hasn’t been any hassle. Some family members said it was unusually hard to close but they were still able to do so. Opening is nice because the button to open it is nowhere near the heat. The downside is now with the control panel on bottom and no door to shield it all the food drippings land straight on the control panel. The control panel is already a fingerprint magnet, and this style choice means frequently wiping the buttons to keep things clean. On the standard tray setting the tray comes out 2 inches when the door opens leaving an additional 10 inches inside. While it works, it would be nice if the tray came out a bit further when the door opens. A nice touch is the drip tray appears to be nonstick as nothing that fell on it has been hard to clean off. Unfortunately, when pulling the tray out there is a gasket on the oven body that scrapes crumbs off the tray as you pull it out meaning those crumbs you were trying to get out are now on the bottom of the toaster. Cleanup of the interior is easy. The interior has a chrome type finish that food doesn’t stick to very well, so it just needs a quick wipe down. The only exception is the bottom burners. It would have been nice if there were heat spreaders covering them like outdoor grills have, so food didn’t drip directly onto them causing smoking and odors. That would make cleanup around them far easier versus the thin metal cage surrounding them. It would have been nice if the metal grates were dishwasher safe, particularly the air fry basket, but only the cooking tray is dishwasher safe. This seems to be common with toaster ovens and air fryers, but it would be great to see this as an option someday as hand washing an air fry basket is tedious. Final Thoughts The GE Profile Smart Oven is a unique take on small sized multi-function ovens. With all its functions it makes firing up your big oven unnecessary in most cases. While it isn’t without its quirks, it is a very capable and easy to use oven. If you are in the market for a multifunction toaster oven and you like GE’s design, then the GE Profile Smart Oven is worth considering.

The GE Profile Smart Oven is one of those rare products that delivers on both design and functionality. Out of the box it is immediately apparent that this is a high quality appliance. It is larger than the average toaster oven, is solidly built and looks beautiful on the kitchen counter. The first thing to do is to download the SmartHQ mobile app which will help with the setup and wifi connection. Both processes were easy. There is an update to the app which must be applied in order to fully utilize the smart features. In the box you get a wire rack, a baking pan, a sheet rack and an air fryer basket. Surprisingly, a round pizza pan is not included considering that Pizza is one of the settings and GE states that you can make up to a 12” pizza. Our other toaster ovens all came with round pizza pan. One of the striking features of the design is the door which rises up and over the oven. It is not only moves completely out of your way, but simultaneously the wire rack slides out. You never have to put your hands inside a hot oven. Absolutely brilliant! The Smart Oven can also be connected to Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for voice control. In my case, I connected it to Google Home. The process was quick and easy, however the functionality is limited to turning the oven on and off. This is not very useful. I have other kitchen appliances that can be completely controlled by voice for baking, air frying, grilling, etc. However, you can remotely control the oven through the SmartHQ mobile app. The control panel is well lit with led lights and very easy to read. There is even a light bar that tracks the cooking process. One of the best features, and I think unique features, of this oven is NO PREHEAT in any cooking function. That’s right, The dreaded wait time while your oven preheats is gone. What a brilliant time saving feature. And this oven can cook at up to 500 degrees. All other counter ovens that I have seen can only go to 450 degrees. You open the door by pressing a latch, the door slides up and over the top, the rack slides partially out, the interior lights up brightly and it plays a tune. To close the door you simply pull down until you hear a locking click. When selecting a cooking mode, a pre programmed suggested time and temperature will appear. These items can be easily adjusted, however I have found them to be pretty spot on in general. While cooking you can turn the interior light on at any time to check on your food. Like most air fryers, the fan will produce noise while operating, however I have found the noise to be significantly less than my other air fryer oven. Other key features are Control Panel Lock to prevent anyone (small children) from possibly being injured. Also, there is a control for the convection fan. Certain functions allow you to opt for convection cooking. When you press one of those functions a Convection Button appears. Press it to turn the convection fan on and again to turn off. Despite the larger size of this oven, we have actually gained significant countertop space as this appliance has replaced both the air fryer and toaster oven that we previously had. Cooking has been a pleasure with this oven. Controls are very intuitive. And most importantly the food cooks evenly and thoroughly. Even toast comes out evenly browned in both sides. And of you have a bagel, there's a setting for that too. After all a bagel toasts differently than a slice of bread. We have air fried potatoes and baked chicken breasts to perfection. I would highly recommend the GE Smart Oven to everyone.

GE Profile is well established as a leading provider of quality kitchen appliances. This Smart Oven with Air Fry, WiFi & no Preheat is worthy of the GE Profile high end reputation. Imagine an ideal counter top oven & what capabilities it would have; this GE Model # P9OIAAS6TBB has them all! A fully functional remote control via the SmartHQ app with alert monitoring makes this the smartest appliance in our kitchen. The no preheat feature lets you cook NOW without wasting time & costly energy. The built-in remote controllable oven light creates a picture window into your culinary art. Oven temperature ranges from 170-500 Degree F; power consumption is 1800 watts. It measures 11.5"H X 17.30"W X 19.6"D & weighs 28.6 lb. With a capacity of 0.83 cubic feet, it will accommodate a 12" pizza. The Light Bar located on the control panel is awesome! It displays the cooking progress through colorful, moving illumination. The door is the best I have ever seen. Gently touch the button in the center of the control panel & the door elevates above the oven, providing complete oven access. CONCLUSION: GE Profile designed the ideal Counter Top Oven that offers every feature imaginable with style & yummy results! Highly recommended!

Loving this item! The no pre-heat is AMAZING! My son LOVES the bagel setting. It toasts to perfection. The air fry basket came warped, but GE replaced it immediately, without issue. Tried to air fry some stuff and loved how it came out. The smart notification is a cool feature. Like how it sends a notification to the phone to let you know right before the item being cooked will be ready. My only issue is that cleaning it is not as simple as I would like. The back wall has a gazillion holes and the oils/grease gets stuck on them and in them. Can not clean it until it cools, obviously, but that proves problematic as now the grease is stuck on it, almost like glue. Other than that, everything I have tried to make in it is perfect!

I absolutely love kitchen gadgets that combine multiple devices into one. This smart oven claims to be an 11-in-1 device, but in reality the ‘11’ is just preset functions. I love that no preheat is needed and that setup is minimal (you only have to plug it in and download the app). I have other GE Profile items and while the app is nice, it doesn’t really provide a whole lot of added functionality to the device itself. It does let you receive notifications when food is done and includes some recipes, which is nice. The oven is quite large and you do need to have the counter space for it. Our kitchen unfortunately lacks space and the oven doesn’t completely replace any of our other devices completely so we are at a loss of where to store it. It does work well as a secondary oven and would be great for an apartment. The oven is fast and it sort of reminds me of a cross between a toaster oven and an air fryer. The oven works great and even though it doesn’t actually contain 11 different devices in 1 body, the presets are very helpful.
