    I took my mother's laptop in because she had a password to login. She forgot what the password was and they were able to help recover it. The guys at geek squad took the time to adequately explain other details about the computer to me. They seemed to do the same with everyone so as when you leave, You leave knowing what to do. I highly recommend them to anyone having issues with their computer or any other device.

    I had a problem with an unknown web site trying to take over my computer! I immediately contacted the Geek Squad and they took are of everything!! I was so thankful for everything! It took awhile, too, but they even made suggestions which I said yes to them. I was treated with respect, too!! I am so glad to have the Geek Squad!! I have not had any problems with my computer since! Thank you to the Geek Squad!!

    I have used this service for several years with several different laptop computers. I have had the Geek Squad clean up my computers and explain several things to help me with the performance of my laptops. I am quite happy with the service. The reason why I did not give it 5 stars is because you can only have 3 computers on the service and after several of my computers were replaced, I had to purchase a new contract even though the old computers were not longer in use.

    The times I've had to use the Geek Squad, I have been impressed. When I bought a notebook computer, the Geek Squad person on the phone was professional, engaging, and extremely good at their job of installing Windows 10, the updates, and setting the notebook computer up for me. I bought the 3 year plan and highly recommend it to professionals who would rather have another professional fix or set their equipment up.

    We were having problems with our new Dell computer. We purchased the 1-year support they sat down with us looked at our computer checked it out & found a factory error in the equipment. They ended up replacing our laptop for us with a new one. No waiting months for the factory to fix it they were right on it & got it taken care of. Everything is running perfectly now. Way to go Geek Squad. You Rock!!!

    GEEK Squad has assisted us with minor Samsung tablet issues in the past..... without charge. For this I was thankful..so when our ACER desk top computer 'froze' , we made an appointment and took it in to Best Buy and The GEEK Squad. They're pricing was upfront and clearly posted, they repaired it in a few days, they kept us informed as to progress, and they we're very patient, persistent and helpful.

    I was hesitant to purchase this service yet am very pleased that I did! Reggie is an AWESOME tech support person with the Geek Squad & calmed all of my concerns! He actually took extra time & walked me thru some pretty basic stuff with my laptop! Thanks so very much for your support sir! I am glad I spent the money for the service & glad for the support from both you & Rudy! Keep up the good work!

    some of the letters on my laptop keyboard would not type. brought my laptop to Best Buy and when I picked it up they informed me that I needed a new keyboard installed. They would have to send my laptop elsewhere to install it, so instead I bought a seperate keyboard with a little plug thingy. Just so happened that my son in law knew how to install it so he ordered the laptop keyboard and installed it for me.

    So far my interaction with the Geek Squad has been enjoyable. They are courteous, friendly and knowledgeable. Never was I made to feel incompetent or dumb (even if my questions were). Haha I never left feeling as though my questions weren't answered or that I was rushed along without fully understanding my concerns or issues. I feel like I have support right in my back pocket! Such a great service to offer!!

    The 24/7 support is a nice thing to have if you need/ use the services they offer. I bought the normal warranty on a brand new laptop, but my laptop decided to no longer boot up. Geek squad told me that the store warranty only covers hardware issues (i.e. cracked screen, broken keyboard, etc) and they said this was a software issue (the OS no longer booting). So I had to buy the plan verses just buying the single service. Like I said. Good if you need it.

    My 2009 IMAC computer was having some issues and had to be serviced by an apple certified technician. Best Buy is certified by Apple. I got an appt the next day, a technician did a quick initial eval and explained everything they could do. He was honest about cost and additional parts that may not be necessary but certainly would be a good thing to buy. My IMAC was fixed in 2 days and better than new.

    It's everything I hoped for, and more! And every person in the entire process were amazing... from the rep who helped me decide which TV was right for me to the Geek Squad team that delivered and set it up.... friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, and professional. Also bought a BluRay to go with it.... wow! No question where I'll be buying the next pair when my study is finished and ready. Thanks, guys!

    I took my laptop to the Geek Squad after I purchased Microsoft Office from Best Buy and while installing it I received an error message and my computer was compromised. They were very helpful and tried to explain everything to me. I was upset that something that I had purchased from Best Buy caused the problem but the Geek Squad did a secure check on my computer and removed any suspicious files for me.

    I bought a laptop that had a serious problem with the cursor jumping which was a touchpad/driver issue. I really like the laptop, but couldn't live with the jumping. The Geek Squad tirelessly tried on several occasions to bring the thing up to usefulness but nothing worked, even Dell support couldn't fix the problem.I dealt with several techs at Best Buy and they were all knowledgeable and professional.

    I use Geek Squad to provide security and assistance with software updates. They also help me with computer glitches - I am am not computer savvy and often need their help by phone or in the store at Crabtree. Their agents are helpful, knowledgeable, and very efficient. I ask them to recommend software updates and they have been very helpful in this area. I am completely happy with their service.

    I would not be without Geek Squad support. I have used their services quite a few times to definitely justify the cost of their services. With viruses and hackers online 24/7 I feel the need to have Geek Squad support 24/7 also. Viruses can sneek in no matter how much you try to prevent that from happening and when they do I can rest assured that the Geek Squad will help me when this happens.

    The Geek Squad helped with my computer, which got stuck in a loop while it was updating. The only problem is that there was free software that came already installed with my computer when I bought it elsewhere, so once they fixed the looping problem, the software was gone. I understand that this issue is not their fault. I will have to make another appointment with Geek Squad to figure out if we can reinstall the free software I got from another retailer.

    My computer would not load the browser and was slow. I puchased a 1 year service plan. The Geek Squad fixed the problem. They also cleaned up my laptop. They installed a new antivirus also. It is running great now. I got my laptop back the next day. I am very happy with the repairs and turnaround time. They told me to bring it in every 3 months for a cleanup. I am very pleased with the Geek Squad

    The Geek Squad performance so far has been fine. They are required for those of us who are tech challenged. It is wise to schedule appointments at their non-busy times. Can be big delays in meeting their appointments schedule during their busy times. In fairness to them, they are trying to give each customer the time needed to solve their problems. Perhaps more technicians needed at these times.

    I have the service for every computer in our family (5). Every year around the time of renewal, I put my computers in for service and debugging. I have had the service for 9 years and have had viruses removed 5 times. I have saved money by purchasing the service. My recommendation is to back up all files at least monthly so you don't loose any data in case the computer needs a full system restore.
