We have used Geek Squad on multiple occasions in recent past. The support at local store was acceptable but our issues required the experts taking control of our computers. One important need was getting the multifunction printer/scanner to talk with our computers. It was painful but Geek Squad was successful. We also had Geed Squad install newest version of Adobe Flash which again required them to take control of a computer and eventually installing it as part of Chrome. They never were successful with Adobe Flash working with Edge.

On day 2 with my new laptop I was warned in a recorded message to follow instructions or my computer would be shut diwn by Microsoft. I knew this to be a scam, but didn’t know what to do. Called Geek Squad and allowed them to take over my computer. In a few minutes the problem was eliminated and I was ibstrysted ad to what to do if it happened again. It did happen the next morning, I did what I had been told and have had no problems since! Great job Geek Squad!!!

I renewed my service contract with Best Buy because I've always received very good service and the explanations from the Geek Squad employee have always been clear & concise. It's a pleasure to take my computer to the Best Buy store in Hartford, WI & have the Geek Squad employees service my computer. I've rec'd especially good explanations from a gentleman named "Hon". I have also recommended the service to other people because of my good experience at the store. Thank you!

Best purchase I ever made to buy Internet protection with Geek Squad. Unfortunately I got scammed first, by sending me some virus that could only be cleared by calling a fictitious number for Microsoft. Even after spending the required amount, my credit card was scammed on a monthly basis and had to be replaced numerous times. I learned my lesson, and I am very happy to have found Geek Squad. They are always available and dependable.

Usually I don't go for things like this, however, when my cyberpower computer started overheating randomly I brought it in to get fixed. And didn't cost that much more to get coverage for a year as many times as I need and for up to 3 computers, than to have it fixed just this once. And the amount I spend on computers it just made sense to pay a little bit more to have unlimited fixes and coverage for 3 computers for a year. And they're the best in the business.

I love Best Buy, I love the customer service, Geek Squad goes above and beyond, and the Geek Squad Manager Gary Woodall is so very kind and helpful everytime. I recently came in with my laptop with a ransom virus on it. I was in the middle of planning my sons memorial service and was so upset and trying to keep my composure, both Geek Squad counter help and Gary were very polite, understanding and so kind. They were also able to get my laptop fixed very quickly.

I recently experienced a problem with my PC wherein it would boot up then say it was shutting down do to a system error. The technicians at the Millbury, MA Best Buy were able to explain to me how some of the supposed helpful programs I had downloaded were nothing more than "Spyware & Viruses" that had corrupted my operating system. They then assisted me by cleaning my system, backing up my data, and reinstalling the operating system so it would run properly.

I brought my all-in-one computer in for repair on 16 Aug, did an online repair session two weeks later and brought computer in again on 28 Sep. My computer works very well now. I don't know if the first repair was not quite right and that contributed to the need for a second erasure of the hard drive or not. All times the squad agents were very good at answering questions, offering to carry my computer to my car for me (I didn't need help) and doing the job. I only wish that I never had a need for them in the first place.

I love this student discount for one year on three different electronic devices it was a great price for the services and I hope that they have more like in the future because I will definitely take the offer. it’s been about nine months since I purchased it roughly and I’ve had to electronic devices serviced in that time where if I didn’t have this it would’ve cost me three times or more the price of this package for just one of the laptops.

Having to do a complete system restore on a new Dell desktop computer that I purchased back in January, I was not to thrilled having to invest more money on another extended warranty program. However, the Geek Squad member did mention that it would cover 3 of my devices during the year. That being said, I already contacted the Geek Squad with issues regarding my wife's computer. They were able to take control of her computer and the problems were resolved. Now I am glad that I have the coverage.

I took my HP Touchsmart Desktop computer in for what I had been told was a hardware repair by both HP and Norton because of an errant cursor problem. Fortunately because of very knowledgeable and skilled Geek Squad Agents, they diagnosed and fixed the problem which was a software problem. The agents were courteous, professional and efficient. Needless to say, I was and am very pleased with the Geek Squad and glad I purchased the 2 year protection.

We had two computers-our desk top and our laptop checked out. We had good service-met with us at our appointment time and spent time with us listening to what the problems were and telling us what the fix would be. When we picked up our computers they again spent time with us making sure we knew what they did to solve the computer problems. We really liked the personal care and the appointment times that ensured we had their attention.

I had a problem with my laptop and once and for all decided to give it a try the Geek Squad team. I can tell you that I had a great experience with the G.S. team located in the Germantown location. Besides the breat service, they had patience with me and my wife and explained us the issue we had with our HP Envy. A magnificent thing about having the 2 year plan is that not only apply to my laptop (or 1 pc), I have up to three laptops or pc that can benefit from the plan.
We totally recommended.

The Geek Squad helped me through a problem with my new computer. I had tried to resolve the issue myself for a couple of days, but just 40 minutes of chatting with an agent resolved the problem. Knowing they are available 7/24 is very comforting. I this day and age of electronics, there is no way for one individual to know it all. With a team like the Geek Squad, they will always have someone who knows the answer to just about any problem.

My old laptop crashed right after Christmas so I took it to Geek Squad. We agreed on the initial diagnosis and repairs. Repair and replacement went OK, but MS Office 10 kept crashing. After going back and forth and trying several options to get it to work, the problem was diagnosed and we came to an agreement to replace the laptop at a discount. So I now have a new, fast working laptop withal of the latest programming and saved money..

Got this to support my new computer purchase. I don't know much about computers so I wanted to have access to experts who could help. I got a 3 year plan. The Geek Squad set up my computer quickly and was able to get it in a few days. One thing that was new and did not realize about the service plans is that you must pay for hardware protection and software support separately but you do get a discount if you buy them at the same time.

I researched laptops before selecting Best Buy. In addition to the actual product and the great price, one of the main factors that aided in my purchasing my laptop from BB was the availability of the Geek Squad! I am a senior citizen with just enough tech knowledge to be dangerous so I need the availability of the services offered by Geek Squad. They were absolutely wonderful... patient and and a compliment to the service of the BB team!!

This service is a MUST if you have a PC! A couple of months after my laptop computer warranty expired, I began having issues. One diagnostic repair alone would cost $150, while a 1 year Geek Squad membership gives you unlimited repairs plus virus protection. The location where I usually go has very patient tech support agents who are willing to take the time needed to help even "technologically-challenged" clients such as myself!

Geek Squad has helped me on numerous occasions. First they uploaded my old computer contents to the new computer. After the computer was home, I had a few instances that I needed help. Geek Squad was a great help. My only hesitation in 5 stars is one time I called Best Buy where I bought my computer to talk with Geek Squad and they were too busy to talk with me. It was something I needed help with immediately. I called the online # for Geek Squad and they helped me through to success.

I did not think that I was going to be purchasing three years of coverage when I went into Best Buy, but after hearing about how it can still be applied to devices not purchased at Best Buy was all I needed to hear. I have only ever had positive experiences from Geek Squad in terms of both service and outcome. I don't think you can go wrong when investing in the protection of your devices by going through Geek Squad.
