The most puzzling thing about the Geeni camera and App (besides the fact it is getting worse over time) is that the company puts so much effort into appearing responsive to reviews with the 888-232-3143 number and yet will not actually fix the bugs they have. You’ve probably seen this where there are never updates to the App that you use over several years and Geeni is one of those that needs new improvements at least every few months. I love stable software that is rarely changed (when working), but here you have to buy a new camera device to get the software updates. They advertise you can bring your own 128GB SD card to locally store motion capture. (Then incorrectly tell you to format it as FAT32, then tell you it is your card causing the problem with camera unable to Playback and requiring reformat for the umpteenth time in 5 days, then tell you that you spent so much time trying out their useless troubleshooting that they will no longer honor their warranty.) But they make it IMPOSSIBLE to actually use the feature to find the relevant snippet of motion. Can you just simply click on the motion detection notification in the list to see the video? NO!! Did they REMOVE the timestamps of interest to you from the Playback feature? YES! Are there ANY useful Playback controls like fast forward? NO!! So did they make any updates to the software? Well, they added their ugly Geeni logo to your video feed. I’m sure EVERYBODY WAS BEGGING FOR THAT. But can you move the timestamp to a different corner so you can read it? NO!! I don’t have high hopes for this company.

Literally got this to keep an eye on my baby puppy who has a lot of anxiety when I leave home. It provides live volume and live video to your mobile app enabled device. All you need is WiFi where ever you connect the camera. Also it has a great feature that allows you to speak through the Mic and out the camera. It actually works great. For the price you’re getting an amazing value. My only let down and reason for four stars is that the device (camera) is very light. You should get two sided Velcro and you can stick it down firmly or just tape it down. If not, just make sure it’s at a place that the camera or connected usb cord won’t get touched. With the slightest touch your camera moves and angle is completely changed. At first I would just put a book to hold the base down because I had it on my dresser and I would grab clothes and when the dresser would slightly shake the camera would move with it. Besides the weight of it “which might be a plus for you” I all in all enjoy this camera. Very easy to set up (between unboxing, plugging it in and downloading the app) took me just minutes to set up and start receiving live video streaming straight to my phone. Also I’m able to speak to my puppy when I’m away. Also to keep an eye on how he was doing when I first brought him home so I could adjust my place into a pet safe environment. He was just 3 months old when I got him so it was so important to keep an eye on him when I had to leave for any reason! Great great value for a camera to keep an eye on your home. Also there’s a motion feature that when something or someone passes by the camera that you get a notification instantly to your app, even while the app is closed! Great for monitoring your place if you’ll be away!

setup is easy. If the camera wont connect you can use an alternate way to connect so its easy. Picture qaulity is pretty good and night vision works really good to. Motion sensor work instantly and sends notification to your phone and starts to record. I was even able to set up one camera at one of my apartments and i set up the other one at a completely different apartment and different wifi and i can still view both cameras on the app no problem.

This is a good camera. Had no problems getting the camera to work on my cell phone. The only issue is I wish the cord to plug in the wall was a little longer.

Pic shows great, easy to set up. Wish cord was little longer. Audio two way feature does not work. I've tried it lots of times. I can only here person there but they can not hear me. App works well. Not bad just need better audio.

These Geeni Indoor Wi-Fi Wireless Network Surveillance Camera are awesome. You can log in from your phone, You also get pushed notifications sent to your phone when it detects movement or sound. Great camera for your buck. only reason it gets 4 stars is due to the 2 way intercom is terrible. If you try and talk from your phone 2 camera it sounds like your under water. Other then that I love these for the price.

The picture these cameras show are clear and the night vision is great also. Only wish the cord was longer.

I bought this so that I can record my Amazon deliveries in my garage. I wanted to avoid paying Amazon more money to buy their Amazon Key compatible camera. I also have other Geeni products so it allows me to have one less app on my phone. It works great for what it is. I get alerts right away and I've never had a single issue with it. In fact, it paid for it self when I caught my Amazon delivery guy toss my package. I reported it and receive $10 credit from Amazon.

It is a great camera, easy to set up and get running. Great quality picture with the app and easy to change the settings. Great value for the price. After setting up the first one I went back and got two more.

Easy to set up and works really well. Will buy a few more. Definitely recommend if you are looking for something easy to use and affordable.

Great video. Clear picture. Make sure you have 2.5 & not 5. I change internet carriers & can’t use it, now.

It is a good camera the only thing I dislike is that you must have a slower internet to use

They got disconnected from my internet and never reconnected. Only worked for one month. There is nothing I can do get them working again.

East to set up and to use. Does a better job than out per cube for watching the dogs. Nice clear picture!
