Customers commend Ghost of Tsushima's stunning graphics, immersive story, and engaging combat system. Many also praise the beautiful open world, side quests, and the game's overall smooth gameplay. While some players found the camera angles challenging at times and the difficulty level manageable, the positive feedback on other aspects significantly outweighs these concerns. The game's captivating scenery and excellent music are also frequently highlighted.

PlayStation 4 is definitely the superior console of this generation. This has been a game I’ve been looking forward to since 2017 when I first saw the teaser. The hype is real. Sony has yet again blessed us with another masterpiece in Ghost of Tsushima. The story is great, the characters are interesting, the soundtrack is amazing, the detail in the world is stunning, the combat is fun, side missions dont feel repetitive, etc. i could go on and on. If you have doubts about this game ignore them and buy it. It’s definitely worth the money. Id recommend it. So worth it i even purchased the collectors edition. I believe this is the last PS4 exclusive and if that's true what a way to go out. Sony has truly spoiled us these past couple of years with a fantastic line up of games and i cant wait to see what they have in store for the PlayStation 5.

First off, this game is absolutely gorgeous. The strong art direction makes for some really great looking armor and weapons, along with really lush looking environments. I've never used the photo mode this much.
Gameplay wise, it's a fairly standard Arkham-esque square and triangle smashing fiesta, but the animations make combat incredibly satisfying. It feels good to change stances on the fly and move through combos. Makes you feel scarily good about it, too.
Story is pretty straight-forward, some of the dialogue is a little generic, but I'm honestly really playing it for the combat and the scenery.
Overall a very impressive and fitting send-off for the PlayStation 4.

If you own PS4, you have to play this incredible game. This open world game has all the greatest of previous open world games like Witcher 3, AC Odyssey, Sekiro,... Beautiful Japan in 13th century with cities, peoples, architectures,... Last exclusive game of PS4 to say goodbye.

This game is one of the most beautiful games I’ve ever played. I find myself just staring at the amazing lighting and particle effects while traversing the world. If you love open world games, there is plenty to do and discover. The combat is surprisingly complex in a good way and is very rewarding if you take the time to master all the stances and moves. My only gripe with this game is that rising the horse is faster to get places but only having 2 speeds with the horse gets annoying- either turtle slow or what seems like a normal pace. The “sprint” pace the horse runs at should be the normal speed and there should be a variability in the trot speed it has. Then also add a real sprint speed. I might be spoiled by Red Dead 2’s horse mechanics here. I find myself just running around on foot or using the excellent and quick-loading fast travel system. Get this game.

If you like simple stories to follow, with a lot of action, character details and breathtaking views... say no more, because this game is for you.
On the other hand, if you like what I said before plus samurais, Japan, exploration and photography. This game is a must in your collection.

I picked up Ghost of Tsushima knowing relatively little other than that Mongols were invading Japan and a samurai facing a moral crisis must stop them.
I was blown away to find what I honestly think could be the most fun game on my PS4! Using a mission structure like GTA or Red Dead redemption this game plunges you into the vast as vibrant world of Tsushima.
Tsushima is GORGEOUS and if there’s any indicator it’s that it has its own dedicated photo mode (which I’ve used extensively despite seldom using one in a game before outside smash bros).
More importantly than that the combat and customization is amazing allowing so many different combat approaches and the game and missions also enable this feeling. Each raid on a mongol camp or tailing mission for example provides so many places to hide or attack from like under buildings, on top of buildings, or even squeezing through gaps in fences.
The combat is exhilarating and I was often times punished for getting a little too cocky when battling enemies. However it never felt unfair or like things had to be done a singular way. There’s also hornet nests, torches, and exploding barrels to shoot to give you an edge in fights. And each item expands these further the fire arrows you get later in the game for example allow you to set entire fields of grass ablaze!
I must also add I adore the story though consisting of a sort of revenge tale has its own twists and turns and so many micro narratives from all the missions it felt so wonderfully rich.
My sole complaint about the game is the janky camera which can come in at inopportune angles interrupting your vision. This mostly occurred in more crammed spaces and was easily fixable by moving to more open areas.
Overall highly recommend it!

I would give it a 9 out 10 since it has some flaws with camera but not agregious. The story is excellent and very Japanese. The combat is stellar and very fun with duels, stand offs. The open world is a joy to explore and no level gating with upgrading. I think the stealth could be better but I can’t give it a 4 as good but if Best Buy could give 4.5 the that’s the score. The loading is blazing fast between fast travel, death and the beginning of the game. It’s a remarkable achievement since no open world game comes close. Matter of fact sucker punch had to slow down loading so you can read the tips. The avg load is 10 sec or less compared to most open worlds of 30-1 min.
I can’t wait for a sequel for better stealth, deeper combat and just more goodness overall. But the first new IP by sucker punch is a marvelous achievement and glad it sold very well.

This is easily in my top 5, if not top 3 PS4 games. It's an open world adventure with one of the most beautiful landscapes I've seen in a video game.
When you're not admiring the views, the story and combat is pretty enjoyable too. Combat is very fluid and never gets too dull as you quickly change between different sword stances to battle your foes.
Difficulty wise you have plenty of adjustment. This game shouldn't be an issue for the casual gamer. I've been playing on the most difficult setting and am still managing my way through. Even on the hardest setting it's no Dark Souls.
Would highly recommend this to any PS4 owner. I've just about finished it and can't wait to start a second play through.

I played this on a 65inch 4K LG TV with HDR enables. Mind blown. Stunningly beautiful with responsive controls during one on one duels. The story was well written, however, hubby and I felt the side quests definitely pulled at the heartstrings more. Some people came off ruthless and the outcomes were like...whoa...but that’s life during war.
It took about 1 week to beat the story and platinum. Definitely worth a buy if you enjoy epic fights and beautiful scenery with a good story. Also, you can create haikus! How cool is that?

Amazing, well-thought out game. I loved the graphics, combat, and storyline all the way through.
It’s important to note that it doesn’t have the same difficulty as other samurai games such as Sekiro or Nioh, but there is a complexity to the combat and you do get to choose whether to go more stealth or traditional-samurai style for combat. So what it lacks in difficulty it makes up for in several combat approaches and “stances.”
Also, you get to PET THE FOXES!!

The game has gorgeous graphics, as if it's a living painting. The combat is so creative and fun. There's also a meticulous attention to detail and a great respect for Japanese culture. Love the exploration in the game. Love the music, story, and characters as well.
You'll easily get yourself immersed in this 13th century world as a samurai and won't want to put your dualshock down. This is the best game so far in 2020!

In my opinion, Ghost of Tsushima is one of the best games of this generation. Regardless of what critics say, I am having so much fun playing this game which is the point of playing games. Right? Excellent quality, lots of content (30-60 hour play time), interesting story/quests, and challenging combat. Ghost's combat is what I enjoy the most. The combat is unique, precise, exciting, fun, and rivals God of War in quality. Ghost is also one of the most beautiful games I have ever played. As for criticisms, it has a good but not excellent story and the enemy variety is okay. It somewhat falls into the generic open world traps (like Ubisoft games) but the content Ghost does have is very very well done. There is a difficulty slider so this game is more accessible than games like Nioh/Dark Souls/Sekiro/etc but if you want a challenge you have that option also: "easy" if you just want to enjoy the game without worrying about skill level, "normal" has mild combat and takes some effort to progress through the game, "hard" is comparable to Nioh/Dark Souls, and "lethal" is comparable to Sekiro or tougher. Personally I like these kind of games and I love the Japanese setting so I am somewhat bias but I am really enjoying this game. Lastly, by setting the difficulty to "hard" for my first play through the game provides you with a sense of accomplishment when you surpass challenges. I am looking forward to my "lethal" play through. I highly recommend this game to anyone who has any interest in Ghost. You will not be disappointed.

Fantastic game. This is a sandbox world that hits all the right points for me, where the place is huge, but not daunting. The combat is smooth, yet precise, varied, but still intuitive. The story keeps me compelled enough to want to keep pushing through, as well. And graphically it's superb. Love it.
