Customers are saying

Customers are impressed with the AMD Radeon RX 6800 GAMING OC graphics card's excellent 4K60 performance and low power consumption. They also appreciate its efficient cooling system and powerful performance. However, some customers find the price to be a bit high, and the card's large size may not fit in all cases.

    Nice card but very thick

Thick card with good cooling. Like really thick, probably a little overkill but I've never seen temps over 70C on junction. Gaming performance is what you'd expect from a 6800. If we weren't in a gpu shortage and you had a choice, I think the reference 6800 XT is probably a better value @ $650 vs this card ($680) at the time of writing.

Loving this card. Runs nice and cool, but that may be because this is a 3-slot cooler. I have a Gaming OC RTX 3070 in another computer, but this one is at least half-a-slot thicker. It seems obvious looking at the photos now, but be warned if you've got a smaller case. Another gotcha is that MSI Afterburner and AMD's built-in tuning are totally incompatible. You need to uninstall afterburner or update it to the _latest_ release with official support for the RX 6000-series cards. Otherwise, your GPU clock could throttle down to 500 MHz for some reason and you'll have a bad time.

AMD's new Navi lineup is quite impressive. Chip shortages are finally starting to ease up, and I would highly recommend the 6800 series. Pair it with a decent CPU and it will run any new game in 1440p no problem! It can do 4k as well. It can do minimal ray tracing, but that tech is still in its infancy anyway and most games don't really benefit. If you pair with a new 5000 series AMD CPU the software can sync together and improve throughput performance.

The 6800 was really hard to find in stock anywhere when I ordered. I am using it for mining. The performance is great. Gets around 60 Mh/s ethash and can also dual mine Toncoin with a slight increase in power. This GPU runs cool and has very little problems with thermals. Size is quite large.

Love the card. Some driver instability but normal when comparing to other releases. Gets around 62 mh/s around 130w. For anyone wondering how to get one? F5 all day everyday. I purchased this card when it was around $600. Hard to imagine paying the listed price now tho.

As you would expect this card is phenomenal and dominates anything I throw at in 1440p high settings. My only complaint is the price compared to the reference model but then again it’s obviously better than the reference model. Glad I got lucky enough to get my hands on this. Only thing I would trade it for is an XT model or a rtx 3080.

Good gpu If you can get your hands on one. Driver issues are definitely worse than nvidias and often cause annoying issues but it is still a great card. Theres occasionally wattman crashes too which are super annoying. Make sure your psu is 800+ watts as my 750 psu was causing terrible coil whine. So I had to upgrade I'm sure this depends on other your other components power draw as well.

These things are slightly rarer than a leprechan riding a unicorn. The card itself is about as fast as a RTX3070, but at $1,179.00 + tax you'll be paying a premium. Minus a star for price, and AMD software/drivers being nowhere close to the ease of Nvidia.

For the price of this card I could have gotten a 3080 FE, but not in this market. Somewhat happy my overpay wont go to the scalpers. Otherwise card is good, the cooler it huge making this a 3 slot card. Probably overkill for cooling for this card.

Comparable to my 3080. Does not miss a beat. I did not have to redo the thermal pad/paste application either. The card is huge. Measure twice. Did not fit inside my intended system so had to go with plan B.

Way better than i expected from gigabyte. This gpu runs cool and is very well built. Many complain about gigabyte brand but this product makes me doubt those people know wth they are talking about.

Excellent card. Better deal than the 6800XT. The XT uses more power and only barely does better on performance.

Great Card, but Best Buy ruined the box

Positive: I’m very pleased with the card itself. It runs like a champ and stays cool (once I disabled the dumb zero rpm). Gigabyte did a good job. For reference, mine is running in a TD500 mesh case (awesome airflow case) Negative: Best Buy put a huge “order pickup” sticker on the front of the gpu box which covers the top left gigabyte logo and then proceeds to go 1/3- 1/2 way down the box. I like to keep my component boxes on display on shelves in my gaming room and that sticker makes me mad every time I see it. I’m afraid of trying to remove it in case it pulls the images off the box with it. Why wouldn’t they at least put it on the back?!?! Overall, I’m only disappointed with Best Buy themselves. The card is great so far. That said, if cards were more available I’d return this one and buy from another source since Best Buy ruined my packaging on this one. Which is obviously an extreme? personal choice/preference on my end. That said it was a $730 purchase and they shouldn’t of ruined the front of the packaging.

Massive power!! Supposedly this GPU outperforms 3070 and 3070ti, especilaEspecially with SAM on. The thick heatsink keeps the temp under check and never gets overheated during the games. Fanless mode is nice, as there is a clear coil whine heard when fan is above 50%.

Great card for the money in 2021. I was able to purchase it at retail without dealing with scalpers. Just had to check back daily and refresh the best buy website until I managed to get one. Maxes out most games at ultra on my 2k monitor!
