Im sill in a honeymoon phase with this monitor to be honest. It hits all of the checkboxes I personally look for. 4k-check, 144hz-check, large screen-check, great HDR-check, deep black levels-check. Its not an OLED by any means but the contrast levels are still VERY good. It also gets very bright, which is needed for a good HDR experience. I would recommend updating the firmware as it is much needed. Also, the built in KVM is a bonus and has already come in handy for work. Overall this monitor is phenomenal and i would recommend to those looking for a larger display, maybe not to everyone. If you have the desk space for it.

AMAZING monitor, especially for the price!! I wanted a monitor that would fit my needs: Work from Home, Gaming, TV replacement. This one delivers EASILY. Set up is very easy, the resolution is spectacular but best of all, it's FAR cheaper than its competitors for equal quality. Recommended to all of my friends and already convinced 2 as of posting this!!

I use my pc as my entertainment hub, gaming, working (sometimes), and streaming shows and moveies. This Monitor is it. It is well priced for what it does. Console and pc gaming couldn’t be better at this price point. Don’t expect it to be like an LG big monitor because it isn’t. But this monitor it’s great!!

Fantastic monitor with few aggravations. Color certainly needs to be tweaked out of the box. Super bright and over saturated on default settings, but mess around with the different modes and colors and you will get it there. Second nit pick is that it (sometimes) takes an extended time to switch inputs or sometimes between a transition. Just sit with a black screen before the resolution finally pops up and then voila, picture. Great monitor, great size. Would recommend

I tried it for the size and specs, but was sorely disappointed. First the lag of the software... Using it to change settings was slow, but the bigger pain was having 2 devices contected to it and trying to switch back and forth in any amount of resonable time. I had my PC and Roku Ultra connected to it and going back and forth confused the monitor to the point I got fed up waiting on it and turned everything off. I just went black screen at one point and any button press wasn't immediately recognized, from a foot and a half away. Picture quality... it was decently vibrant, but over saturated. Blacks were not very good, even for a VA panel. Then the HDR implementation was terrible. The brightness was so bright that it blew out simple things, not just highlights. Then if you turned down the brightness, the contrast made it look gray or cloudy. I think the problem is the native 8bit panel. It is 4K and is HDR, but the fact that it's only an 8bit+FRC panel with sub-par processing, low zone count (8), and poor local dimming, this is not a monitor I'd want or even could recommend. I've tried a few different monitors and landed on the 43" QN90B. Side by side, the Samsung was much better hands down. Then again, it has a true 10bit panel and is true 120hz unlike the 43" QN90A. In game mode it peaks at 144hz and looks great. The pics are a little dramatic because the camera doesn't capture it very good, but you can see the difference. Also the dark spot in the center isn't there in real life, more of the issue with the camera. Also, these pics are weeks old, so not stock advice lol! Thoughts... this is not a serious monitor. I had it price matched down to $635, but even at that price, there are much better options. I just couldn't deal with the terrible HDR, and that's the heart of 4K. I wanted a monitor that would double as a good tv and gaming monitor, but this was not it and it wasn't close. Save yourself the time and money and look elsewhere. I don't even think I'd buy it for a kid. Keep in mind also, this monitor came out in 2019 I believe.

I just finished building my new rig. Ryzen9 5900x, XFX 6900xt, Crucial P5 M.2G4, Corsair vengeance 32GB 3600mhz, EVGA 850w GQ Aorus B550 Mother board. Originally, I purchased a Aorus FI32q-x (1440 @ 240mhz) i wasn't to impressed so i returned it and grabbed this....OMG this thing is AMAZING!! awesome colors 4k@ 144hz on a 43 display is just stunning. Luckly, I have a 5ft desk so setting up this and my other Gigabyte G32qc mounted in portrait mode is possible. playing Warzone in 4k looks great I didn't think i would see much of a difference but I did. Valhalla is on a different level in 4k at max settings and I'm still hitting 70FPS consistently.

Im pretty sure this monitor would be good for pc and I actually heard it works great with X-BOX X/S. On the contrary PS5 owners DO NOT BUY this monitor will be waisting your time. Only because you cant use the 120 fps the PS5 can put out because for some reason, this monitor is not compatable with ps5 on that. Otherwise, 4k at 60fps looks great thats way i gave it 3stars instead of 1star.

Big screen, lot of great features but poor build, screen came with what I thought to be a dead pixel but is actually a inside scratch. Lot a glare in the screen and unless you are adding this in a wall far from you it will fry your eyes due the High contrast. Returning it for sure

I used this monitor for over a year until I upgraded to a 4K OLED TV for my game room. The amount of features packed into this thing is insane, and every piece of tech I connected to this thing worked perfectly Tested: PS5 4K @120Hz HDMI 2.1, VRR XBX 4K @120Hz HDMI 2.1, VRR XBS 4K @120Hz HDMI 2.1, VRR Switch 1080P @60Hz HDMI 2.0 Xbox 360 1080P @60Hz HDMI 1.0 PS3 1080P @60hz HDMI 1.0 PC (R9 5900X, RTX 3080) 4K @144z DisplayPort 1.4, VRR One thing that I will note, for some reason any time I tried running my PS5 through my 5 way HDMI 2.1 splitter, it capped at 1440p120 rather and 4K60, so I recommend connecting it directly to the monitor, and using a splitter for any other device if you are looking to use multiple systems on this. If anyone has any questions, I'm willing to answer!

The monitor arrived in perfect condition, no scratches, damage, no dead or stuck pixels, etc. All cables and instructions were included. Vesa mounting was easy. Pros: Really bright and vibrant colors. The contrast is very impressive, definitely adds depth to displayed content. The KVM switch is a nice add-on. The extra space for office work is great. Gaming is definitely emersive and fun. Cons: The ghosting is by far the worst part about this panel. I knew there would be some because it's a VA, but sitting in front of it (about 3.5 feet back) I was really disappointed with the amount of smearing. It hurt my eyes using it for anything but gaming for long periods of time. Office work was fatiguing at best, even after playing with the settings. sRGB mode with Smart OD was the best setting for this kind of use, but still was unpleasant staring at the screen for more than 5 or 10 minutes at a time. Dragging windows and documents around the screen looked awful. Clear type helped stationary text look okay, but not good. The KVM is goofy to setup. It requires a USB-C cable not included in the packaging, along with the correct sequence of cable connections and modifications to the OSD menu settings. It does work once setup, but switching is SLOW, like a solid 5 seconds at least of black screen whilst switching from DP to HDMI or visa versa. Also, if the monitor doesn't detect an input signal, it will automatically enter standby after a short period of time, shutting off the keyboard and mouse connection to the computer with no way to "wake" it up except with the PC power button. The remote is nice, but the signal interfered with my RGB strip lights that I have in my office, like it would randomly dim them or make them flicker. There was a noticeable oder emitting from the back of the monitor, like warm or hot plastic smells. Made me wonder if something was wrong with it, or if it was just "breaking in". If you're not going to be sitting at least 4-5 feet back, gaming will probably feel nauseating. The eyeballs just don't track the screen movement correctly with such a large view. I ultimately returned it because it just has too many flaws, or at least serves an extremely niche consumer.

I've been using this Gigabyte Aorus FV43U 43" LED 4K monitor paired with an Alienware Aurora R15 and a 4080 (also purchased at Best Buy) for a year now, and have no real complaints about either the PC or the monitor. This monitor is very bright. In fact, for comfortable viewing, I had to turn the monitor's brightness down to 8%. Watching movies on this thing at that same 8%, everything looks beautiful. However, the one drawback I had, and the reason for my deduction of a full star from my rating, is that if I turn HDR on, even at that 8% initial brightness, the images get blown out to the point that it actually looks better if I leave the HDR turned off. So that's an option I no longer use. But I'm not a monitor guy really, so it's entirely possible there could be other settings that could ameliorate this problem. There are an amazing amount of settings to choose from, but I decided not to mess with them. The remote control is a nice thing to have. The monitor goes to sleep just fine, but if I want to completely turn it off, using the monitor's physical switch on the bottom of the monitor requires pushing straight up on the joystick. If you move the joystick even slightly in any other direction but exactly straight up, you will instead activate the menu. So for me, it's just easier to power it off and on by using the remote control, which uses a standard button for power. And those are my problems with the monitor. For me, these are things I can easily live with. And other than those things, image quality is actually pretty fantastic overall, and I still have zero dead or wonky pixels. The monitor performs flawlessly in gaming, and anything else I need it to do. Once I had the brightness dialed in, I needed to make no other adjustments. I would highly recommend this monitor, unless my HDR experience is something that worries you. And if that's the case, I would not take my word for it, as I know very little about it. Maybe check some other reviews addressing that specific issue. But overall, for my uses (gaming, movie watching, and standard computer function), it's been rock solid and completely reliable, which is important for me. I've owned some flakey monitors before, and this is not one of those.

Impressive monitor. When you first turn on this bad boy the first thing you will notice is how vibrant the colors are and how dark the blacks can get. I use this monitor for work and gaming. For gaming it doesn’t get much better than this. Incredible picture and a high refresh rate at 4k means it will be here to stay for a long time. Currently running on a 3070 and it’s pushing 4k pretty well and will do until I can get a 3080ti. Also looks and performs well with the ps5. For work, I use excel all day. Text comes through clear. The only downside is since it is such a big monitor I can tell there is a slight change in color towards the edges (because it’s large and my desk is 25in deep i don’t have a straight on view of the pixels). This ONLY happens when the display is all white, otherwise it’s not noticeable. For this price point you won’t find anything better. It takes a little bit to get used to a monitor this size but once you do it’s amazing. There are a wealth of features, display modes and settings (almost too many). Definitely a great purchase.

Very good monitor. The built-in speakers were decent. I wouldn't call it premium sound quality, though. Gaming was amazing. HDR was very nice! It is lacking the TV features if you are comparing this to something like a LG C1 or C2, etc. I ultimately returned this and got a gaming TV instead because I wanted the TV apps. For example, Netflix will play in 4k on a TV app but not on a pc.

After weeks of comparing monitors I came across this 43” beauty. I needed something large enough to resemble a TV but still maintain the quality and benefits of a gaming monitor. First thing I noticed was the packaging, the most thought out I have ever seen. To give you an idea there’s instructions on how to open it. That tells me that this company cares about quality and experience. Now I will say that it is a bit bulky, so if you’re looking for a super thin screen this is not it. But if you are looking for quality gaming on a bigger screen with a good price range look no further. I will update after a few months of playing around with this monitor.
