Excellent, stable little motherboard. I used this for building a TrueNas scale (NAS) - absolutely 0 issues. Paired with a Ryzen 7 5700G, 32GB ram, 4 x 6TB WD Red Pro drives, nvme cache drive and nvme boot drive - this thing flies and can handle multiple 4K streams from Plex with ease. Highly recommend it!!

This Gigabyte MB is Rev1.1. Not the latest Rev1.2. Checking Gigabyte website, don’t see any difference between 1.1 and 1.2. This is a great choice for a Ryzen 2/3 iTX PC. With the Ryzen 3600, just use the stock cooler, it’s a good fit. Compare to mATX, while using beefy GPU card, mATX’s additional PCIe slots become useless. USB ports is enough for normal users.
The only down side is it doesn’t have USB-C for front panel. This shouldn’t be a big deal as a USB A-C cable is easy to find. Most of iTX case o the market doesn’t have front USB-C port anyway.

I needed something small for a portable desktop, and this one came in clutch. This fits perfectly into an NZXT H1V2, and the headers were neatly labelled and easy to access considering how small the board is. Overall very pleased with what Gigabyte has produced.

Great motherboard, had no issues, easy to install, the best VRM for a b550 ITX board. If there was anything missing is an extra fan header but easy manageable with a fan controler or spliter.

I wanted to write this review as I saw some negative reviews on this board and wanted to clear up any confusions.
FYI:
Pros: Build quality
Cons: None really, you just have to do research on what is and isn't compatible as a pc builder.
Bestbuy mislabeled this board, it is USB3.2, not USB3.1. I received the Rev 1.1 of the board and it came with BIOS version F15 factory installed.
I have experience in programming and electrical engineering work.
Build Quality /Hardware:
The motherboard itself feels very high quality on pickup with the steel armor on PCIE and RAM slots. The heatsink on top of the m.2 drive does make contact indirectly to the drive itself through the metal above the heat pipe area. The motherboard is a completely silent fan-less design. Yes, it does come with a wifi/blue tooth antenna that is magnetic.
Has three (1 cpu-fan, 2 System fan) 4-pin pwm fan connectors (fool proof connectors that work with 3 fin dc fans as well). For one of the System fans you will have to use an included adapter cable provided with the board. My computer case has the 3.2 front panel connector that plugs right in and everything just works. Do read the power switch layout in the motherboard manual to make sure that you are plugging into the power pin headers correctly.
Two m.2 slots front and back. Only the front slot has pcie 4, but it will only run in pcie 4 mode with a compatible CPU so please check the CPU that you are planning to buy. Needless to say, you will also need a pcie 4 m.2 drive to run at that speed.
Layout of all connectors make sense and was easy to work with.
The metal Backplate on the motherboard adds to the passive cooling of the board and also makes it very easy to handle and safer to lay down.
Software:
Another review here mentioned that there is no wifi, but that's not true. You will need to go to the manufacturer's website to download the latest drivers (just search by model name on their website), but after installing the wifi/bluetooth should work perfectly and I have not experienced any random disconnects while gaming.
My CPU does not have integrated graphics for debug so I was concerned about having to do a bios update via Q-flash Plus (note there is also old Q-flash method of bios update so do not mix that up with Q-flash Plus) since I did not have any old CPUs to use to manually update via web.
Fortunately, the Rev 1.1 board came with the latest F15 bios and worked out of the box with my CPU (AMD Ryzen 5 5600x) AND windows 11 out of the box, so no BIOS flash was needed. If for some reason you do need to use the Q-Flash Plus feature to update the bios you will need to go to their website and watch a video they have there.
Note that you will download a folder under BIOS tab inside the software/drivers section and inside that folder there are 3-4 files. One of the file has an extension ending in .16e (dot 16e). You will need to rename this to gigabyte.bin and save it into a usb that is no bigger than 16gb and the usb needs to be formatted in FAT32.
You can download the APP Center utility tool in the utility section to make updating and controlling the software and fans easier, but this is optional.
You press DELETE to enter bios for this board.
I use everything at stock settings and did not mess with overclocking or any fine tuning. The only thing I changed was the fan speed via the SMART fan feature in BIOS, which is also accessible via the APP Center tool.
My build:
JONSBO T8 PLUS BLACK Mini- ITX Tower Computer Case
Noctua NF-A14 PWM Chromax Black, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (140mm, Black)
Noctua NH-U9S chromax.Black, 92mm Single-Tower CPU Cooler (Black)
Noctua NF-A9 PWM chromax.Black.swap, Premium Quiet Fan, 4-Pin (92mm, Black) - (I clipped this fan to the other side of noctua heatsink for dual fan setup)
Alienware 240Hz Gaming Monitor 24.5 Inch Full HD Monitor with IPS Technology, Dark Gray - Dark Side of the Moon - AW2521HF
CORSAIR - SF Series SF750 80 PLUS Platinum Fully Modular SFX Power Supply - Black
XFX - SPEEDSTER SWFT210 AMD Radeon RX 6600 Core 8GB GDDR6 PCI Express 4.0 Gaming Graphics Card - Black
Windows 11 Home - USB Flash Drive - English
AMD - Ryzen 5 5600X 4th Gen 6-core, 12-threads Unlocked Desktop Processor
GIGABYTE - B550 I AORUS PRO AX AM4 USB3.1 AMD Motherboard - Small Form Factor
Crucial - P3 Plus 1TB Internal SSD PCIe Gen 4.0 NVMe
CORSAIR - VENGEANCE LPX 32GB (2PK x 16GB) 3600MHz DDR4 C18 DIMM Desktop Memory - Black
Build notes:
This is a completely black color build, and everything fits and works perfectly and silently. The motherboard has an orange led on the backside, but you could probably change it with some software (I like the black orange theme so did not mess with this). I can't even hear the fans with my ears at 2 feet distance and barely hear it at 1 foot. Beware that if you use the same graphics card I bought, there is a switch that toggles silent and performance mode (you should only toggle this when power to pc is off). If you have it on the performance side the fan will roar at 2500 rpm.
With this setup, the CPU idles at around 50c and when playing Guild Wars 2 or lost ark at max settings/ unlimited frame rate it stays at or below 75c but mostly around 65c-68c. Fans are setup for negative pressure in case.
Note: my room heater is set at 74 degrees fahrenheit.

I’m building my first gaming computer and I decided to go with a mini itx. I want to stay with a low profile and I’ve decided to use no rgb other than for the 32gb of ram by Corsair and the Nzxt kraken. I think this motherboard was up for a good price and I decided to buy it with my very first paycheck and I plan on keeping it until I decide I want to upgrade.

Awesome looking ITX board, with decent heft to it. Well built with a full metal backplate, which is super nice. Also, nice benefit over the X570 board is this doesn't have any active cooling - just passive with big heatsinks, so no noise from a tiny fan to worry about (good for open air or mesh cases). RGB Backlight can be a bit finicky with the software, so I just left it on default. Being able to update FW /BIOS directly from the rear I/O without having to login to the BIOS is also super handy, especially since its a newer ZEN 3 Platform and they have released quite a few updates over the past year.

Great motherboard for the price!!! This thing works with my 5800X3D with the updated BIOS. The BIOS is easy to use. I have no issues with this motherboard other than it does not have USB-C front panel support, but I bought an adapter to hook it up to USB 2.0 and am fine with it.

Board was easy to install, bios was designed well, and the features are plentiful. Works perfectly with my R7 5800X. The only thing I would add is better documentation on how to correctly install a M.2 drive in the front slot. With the heatsync it is a bit confusing.

I had some parts laying around but needed a motherboard to host it all. I don't think I could have picked any better than this board. Watch out while flashing the bios before installing the 5000 chips. You need to rename the bios to gigabyte.bin!!

There's a lot going on with this thing. My main issue is at this point it's an old board and needs a lot of updates before you can even get started. I mean it needs em before you even put a stick of memory or the cpu in. I guess that's acceptable (it shouldn't be) but getting those updates going is a whole process I didn't expect. There's very cryptic rev numbers that are incredibly important to driver downloads that again isn't totally obvious out of the box. Once we're up and running it's a beast, but it's not a simple install if you don't decide to read up on every possible blocker before throwing components on it.
