Customers consistently note the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 graphics card's great performance and compatibility with Intel CPUs, making it a solid choice for budget-friendly PC builds. While some users find it lacking for serious gaming, its price point is often praised.

Huge step up from integrated graphics!

Great GPU for pre-built desktop that was previously using CPU integrated graphics, a big step up. No power supply upgrade needed as it uses PCIe power (gen 3). However my only complaint also stems from this, because the display can sometimes cut out for 1 second when switching into fullscreen gaming, but this is a very minor issue and may not actually be caused by power delivery. This GPU compares to the 7th generation of gaming such as PlayStation 3. This is the DDR4 version, there is also a DDR5 version on the market but that has a larger profile due to the upgraded heat sync. So if you're looking for a true one slot profile through the entire length of the card, this DDR4 is the one you want. I do not recommend trying this card for high loads, even with low settings. It's quiet, effective, and economical.

This GPU was surprisingly tough for all its disadvantages. During the GPU price/stock debacle of 2022, I had very few choices. I picked up one of these to get an old PC running and was surprised that it managed 40-50 frames at 1080p on a relatively low overclock. I have since replaced it, but I kept it for "emergency" situations. While I consider what I paid to be entirely too much, that was simply the market at the time. Would be a great budget build card for a simple/older title purpose build or refurb.

Perfect SFF Graphics Card

This card fit perfectly into my Dell Optiplex 5060 SFF. I'm using this as a secondary PC to run small tasks. It was able to run league, minecraft, and overwatch at low settings and I was able to get around 50 -60 frames. Perfect for the price.

I purchased this video card for a system dual booting Ubuntu and MidnightBSD. It works fine for a causal desktop. It works up to 2k resolutions fine. The card can’t run at 4K due to the old hdmi standard which limits to 30hz. This card is horrible for gaming so run away if that is your use case. You can play counter strike on it but newer games are out of the question. The card has low power requirements and can run off the pcie slot without extra psu cables. I’m using it with an hp envy i7 10700 desktop.

Slow, but quiet and low power

It's good if this is what you want. A basic GPU with two ports and minimum power draw for everything but gaming. This is not a gaming video card, it's not even a real full GT 1030 because instead of GDDR5 memory it has much slower DDR4, so it's around 40% slower than other 1030s with GDDR5.
It is quiet though. And you can buy it now, others mostly OOS

A little more info in the box would help install

A little more instruction in the box at the strart would make installtion helpful. After physically install card in slot, you must go onlin to get and instll the drivers. Would be helpful at the start to know that. Onc installed it delivers great performance.

Good price, Shipped promptly, installed easy. Really eased the strain on my system for processing graphics! A relief that something went right buying from Best Buy online after a few problems in a row.

If you’re not really trying to do an intense amount of gaming or video use, it’s a very solid graphics card.

Meets a need for low-end graphics board, in a flight simulator PC. Has 2GB of graphics RAM, which meets the threshold for X-Plane to use the Vulkan API and that boosts performance. Also, it works with 'shared video RAM' on the motherboard (Ryzen 5 5600G) to use the APU's graphics features. With a single HDMI and DVI-D connector it boosts the total video ports (two on motherboard) for a multi-monitor flight sim configuration. It's not the highest FPS but can be very adequate for flight simulation. Only GDDR4 RAM and there are other variations with GDDR5 for a bit more cost.

Great for the price. (Obviously this is not a good choice if you're building a gaming PC.) However, for general purpose use, or in my case for photo editing (not video), this graphics card works great and was relatively inexpensive compared to other options on the market. Again, if you're looking to be gaming, you will need to get something different but otherwise, this is definitely worth the money.

Good solution for SFF OptiPlex 5060

This video card was installed in a OptoPlex 5060 SFF, which was purchased at Goodwill’s The Grid. After reading several comments and reviews from various forums, this seemed the most likely solution other than the integrated Intel graphics, which was good but lacking in some features. I can recommend this. Plus, the price was great!

I wasn’t expecting much out of this card. I don’t play a lot of games mainly just word processing, emails, and some light video editing. So far I have no issues. Also I run a few different systems windows, Ubuntu, knoppix, Linux mint, all work flawlessly with my Ryzen 5 and this card. Using Aorus motherboard.

The graphics card is working well, apparently. What is most important about this transaction is the excellent service that was provided by the Geek Squad technicians at the Silverdale store. High praise to James, JJ and Daniel for their patient and superb assistance through the process. Thanks very much!

I bought this gpu and built a rig for my little girls (non-gaming). It gets the job done. It can only do 120hz, if you try 144hz, the display gets static. It can run gta on 1080 if you check out youtube, but I never tried gaming on this. If you're wondering if you should get this for low settings gaming, don't do it. Might as well try to buy a used 980ti or something. If you just need a cheap gpu to have a display, it's not bad.

Nice little upgrade for an aging computer with a smaller PSU. Can run games like Fallout 4 at close to high settings at 60FPS.
