Customers highly value the improved graphics capabilities of the NVIDIA GeForce GT 1030 2GB GDDR5 PCI Express 3.0 Graphics Card, citing ease of installation and performance exceeding expectations for older systems. Its low power consumption is also a significant advantage, making it suitable for systems with smaller power supplies. However, some customers found the card's performance inadequate for modern, high-end gaming. Therefore, potential buyers should carefully consider their gaming needs before purchasing.

This video card brought new life to a Lenovo Erazer X315 PC that stopped working for my poor friend... or more specifically the PC worked fine once you took the video card out which to me is a pretty clear sign the video card had gone bad.
(I find myself shaking my head over the fact there's one.. ONE.. case fan in this PC and no spots in the case where you can install additional case fans I'm certain that poor video card died of heat build up.. but anyways...)
I was a bit nervous given that the video card is supposed to require a 300 watt power supply and the Lenovo Erazer X315 comes with a 280 watt power supply.. to make matters worse according to the kind and helpful folks on the Lenovo community forums to whom I an indebted, putting your own power supply in there even with a power adapter cable is not the best idea... the power supply will basically stay on all the time and never turn off even when you turn off the PC unless you say plug it into a surge protector and turn off the surge protector every time you turn off the PC (and honestly who's going to remember to do that) ... really wish Lenovo wouldn't mess with the public like that (want to upgrade your PC? Hah you wish buy a new Lenovo PC instead!) ... having said that as others have stated in amazon reviews for this product and as the helpful folks at the Lenovo forum stated, 280 watts is close enough for the video card to function without any issues.
Given this is an older , budget PC that really was only suited to run older games this video card, while apparently close to but not quite as powerful as the one that originally came with the PC, still did just fine running Tomb Raider (2013 release of the game), Batman Arkham Asylum and Batman Arkham City.
Installation was more or less pain free though I found out the hard way (maybe because this PC defaulted to the graphics built into it's processor when the video card that came with it stopped working) that this PC does NOT like it when you try to install the drivers from Gigabyte's website ... which is fine, Windows 10 installed drivers automatically for it and , again given this is going to be used for older games, I don't see the lack of ability to update the drivers being that much of a problem.

This card performed better than I expected in my secondary rig I use as a retro/low end gaming pc. On most older games this card can do 1080/60 but on more modern titles I would expect 720p/60fps and in some cases with the right settings 1600x900/60fps. I have mine slightly overclocked which did give me about a 10-15% boost in performance. This is a mighty little card.

Easy to install and it was great that it had the smaller form factor attachment as it was needed. HDMI didn't work on first install so had to switch to DVI and after the updates, then both worked.

Great option to upgrade your system graphics. Had an old machine and helped breath a little life back into it, making certain visual effects and things requiring the graphics a little more snappy. For the purpose of upgrading my old home-office computer it did the job. Only drawback was installing the software and drivers on my older system was a bit tricky.

Awesome little card for what it’s worth! Don’t buy this card for high end gaming but is great for basic video output and retro/ low end games! No added power required which makes it perfect for an old HP or small power supply

Great card for small builds that need a video card. Runs super cool. plays web-based games and youtube at 4k without stutters. Can also do VERY light gaming if desired. Would need to run 720P LOW settings or lower.

This card fits into my dell optiplex i5-650 SFF (990). I had to remove the hard drive mounting bracket because the GPU fan will hit it- and not spin. (I mounted the SSD to the CD with Velcro). The kids can play Roblox with this set up at max settings at 1080p.
