    Honest Review

I've had this card for a full 24 hours now. I've been waiting for Best Buy drops since launch to get my hands on a 6800xt or a 3080, but this little gem was what I got lucky with for now. I'll trade up once the opportunity presents itself. Here's my take. Rock solid 1080p/1440p gaming. I've gone from an XFX RX570 > XFX RX580 > Gigabyte RTX 3060 OC. In this current climate I paid (from best buy) $360 for the 570, $450 for the 580, and $480 for this 3060. From that standpoint It's an outstanding deal for this card considering what people are selling these for online. In a normal world, still overpriced. IMO, this card performs extremely well. I've been throwing all my games at it at 1440p max settings and haven't dipped below 60 fps. (though i know some games certainly will) My monitors tap out at 144hz so that's the ceiling I've set for all games. Outside of stress testing (64c tops), it hasn't gone above 59c gaming. Stays super cool (idle at 33c) and since my 580 was a furnace that loved to stay at 79c gaming; my CPU temps have also now dropped 5c during gaming and idle is down to 28c. ONLY complaint: You can get a 3060TI for closer to $400 while this is a full $80 above that and performs worse, I have no cons to complain about. This is a powerhouse. It's the runt of the 30 series family but an outstanding card nonetheless. If you can, buy it. Don't second guess because by the time you do, it's out of stock :)

great card, plays practically whatever you want at full ultra 100+fps, (minus cyberpunk with psyco rtx on and others) good heat sink so fans pretty much never go 100%, i did upgrade from literally tech trash but i say it’s a mighty fine card

Picked this out on a whim when Best Buy had a drop. Had it for a few weeks now and it’s holding strong. Temps are low, and coming from a 1050ti this things is awesome. I can play everything on ultra settings. Obviously certain games are going to have frame low FPS. But I can get 75-90 FPS on warzone, and with dlss on I get 144. Nvidia filters make the game look even better. It was an easy installation as well. Enjoy the rgb on the card too. Only issue I’ve found is it maxes out the clock on Cold War. But I think that was my mistake. I was messing around with the settings and I’ll have to troubleshoot that

Excellent graphics card. It's more expensive than the regulars 3060, I would say it's not worth at all the extra price, but in these days is better than nothing. Go for it.

Used this card for my brother's PC build. I tested out a few games and it performed well for the short time I had with it. I found no issues with it.

Decent as far as 3060s go, but it's still a 3060. The memory is binned worse than my PNY 3060 double, although the cooling and core seemed to be binned better. Choices are slim now, but in a normal market I wouldn't pay more than $350-400 for this.

I’m new to PC gaming so I can’t really give a detailed opinion but for a starter GPU this worked really well for me. I’ve eventually upgraded, but I had few problems with this, except it took a while for it to accept my TV. If you’re working with a monitor though, it had no issues with my monitor. It ran smooth, and it’s all you really need if you’re not trying to be super fancy HD.

Got this during a drop and have used it for a few weeks now. It works great, good temps, I game at 1440p and it handles almost every game I play at 60fps in high, ultra settings. I love it, looks great in my system and have zero complaints about it.

Great product but thermals do suffer due to poor quality thermal pads. With the money you spend on this I wouldn't have minded paying an extra $10 for the manufacture to put higher quality thermal pads. They are easy to replace yourself though, it's just a hassle.

So you got this instead. It's a graphics card. It's a little better than a 2070. It's a little worse than a 1080ti. But it has DLSS and better raytracing. Gigabyte's cooling is pretty solid. If the 3060ti or 3080 were realistic goals, I'd shoot for those instead.

Don't forget 3060 is almost the same as 1080ti/2080 in performance. The card itself is absolutely great product, but it's arguably worth this much....

First of all, NVidia is funny for thinking that you would not be able to mine crypto with these cards. But as far as performance goes, this card is solid and very affordable. Definitely would recommend trying out.
