A well built big ole beast of a card. Roughly 30-40% stronger than my old RTX2060 6GB was. Runs 4-7c cooler as well, with roughly the same overclock, maybe a little higher.
As a reference, I run Division 2 maxed out (with shadows on high because there is literally no visual difference) at 1080P between 115-144FPS, depending on area.
CyberPunk2077 also maxed out, with RT and DLSS off, in city is roughly 60-70FPS with small occasional dips to 55 (that I wouldn't notice if my frame monitor wasn't on) and we'll over 80FPS outside of the city, also on 1080P. RT reflections on with DLSS set to quality nets the same FPS, but I prefer the game with DLSS off and just don't notice the RT enough to justify the very slight graphical loss of DLSS at 1080P.
The rest of my system has 16GB Corsair RAM running at 3400MHz, a WD NVME M.2, and a Ryzen 3600X all-core overclocked to 4.4GHz all attached to a simple Gigabyte B450 Aorus Elite motherboard.
My belief is if you have a 2060S, wait to get a 3070+. Anything lower than a 2060S I would recommend this as a great mid range card.

With the right CPU and RAM choice, this GPU shreds at 1440p gaming, easily getting 60+ frames on any game. A little heavy, may require a sag bracket.

It’s a great 1440p card but the availability is obviously bad. However I believe bestbuy is the best retailer to try and get it from

Alright, I'll leave the first review. As expected, it's great!! I actually had this, 32GB RAM, and a Ryzen 9 3900x running on a 500w 80 Plus EVGA power supply for a few days without issue, pushing AAA titles to their extent and running in VR as well. I ended up swapping to a new Corsair 750w modular 80 Plus Bronze power supply a few days later, just to not push my luck and give my supply quite a bit more headroom.
Ray tracing looks great in the games I was able to try it in. Also runs at 144hz+ on a lot of games on my 144hz 1440p monitor.
The GPU is quiet, and runs cool. If you're able to snag one, please do!! Great card.

$400 - $500 with performance of a RTX 2080S, 3060Ti has some crazy good value. The Gigabyte variant is alright, it has some good cooling and does not look all that bad or gamery, no rgb which is whatever. Personally I would get any other 3 fan variant that was available at the time, this is beggars are not choosers type of situation with GPUs during covid.

I've had several Gigabyte Cards in the past 15 years. I have picked Gigabyte each time after considerable research and have not been disappointed. Their quality control is excellent, and none of the cards I've had encountered any issues despite years of gaming on them. Furthermore, Gigabyte doesn't do crazy overclocks like EVGA or similar companies. Those modifications squeeze out negligible performance at the cost of long term wear and tear and instability, which I have experienced. However, if you are someone who changes cards every year or two, then the extra wear and tear will likely not manifest before the switch.
My favorite part about Gigabyte cards is their windforce design. The alternating spin on the triple fan design keeps the card cool. This is particularly important as each new generation pushes the thermal limits, and having adequate cooling is key to stability and longevity.
Other thoughts: this card uses a standard 8 pin video card connector, whereas my previous card used both an 8 pin and a 6 pin. This is nice as it frees up some cables in my modular power supply, plus I didn't need to use the new adapter Nvidia introduced with the 3000 series.
One note: I installed this on my MSI X570 motherboard, which has an "armored" GPU slot. This slot has a locking mechanism that prevents the previous card from being removed. I didn't realize this at first and was puzzled. If you've the same motherboard, just press down on the locking mechanism at the back of card slot to disengage it.
Installation was easy. I had a previous Nvidia card. I simply downloaded the latest nvidia driver, installed it (with the previous card). Then I swapped out the two, and booted up no issues. The drivers recognized the new card and have been utilizing it well ever since.
I almost went Radeon 6800. The reason I didn't was partially due to every card being difficult to find, but also AMD does not have a good competitor to Nvidia's DLSS. Furthermore, AMD drivers can be quite unstable, whereas Nvidia doesn't seem to have this problem.
There are plenty of benchmarks on the internet. Seeing this card had almost identical (possibly superior) performance to a 2080 Super really set my mind. If you game at 4K, then you would want a 3080. I'm running a lot of VR with the Occulus, and this is plenty.

So far so good. Playing at 1440p I get 200ish FPS in black ops with ray tracing off, about 160FPS with RT on low/medium settings. Fairly quiet, runs cool, a bit beefy

Best GPU I ever owned!!
Perfect for 144hz 1080p gaming, and was lucky enough to get it at retail pricing. Runs cool (around 60c) and never gets too loud. Also looks great inside a case with a glass side pannel.

Runs great and cool. I recommend playing at high FPS in 1080p and 1440p. If you're upgrading from a 2060 or below then you should be happy with this card.
If I had to buy a video card all over again I would have bought the 3080.

What a powerful card. Can handle anything I throw at it with a i5-10600k at 1440p. Easily 60+ FPS in Cyberpunk 2077 with some minor setting tweaks other games I'm pushing easily 100+ FPS with everything maxed out. Very glad I got this GPU!

Absolutely amazing card, came from a twin frozr 7 1660 so this was a huge upgrade, runs fairly cool and silent. The lack of RGB on the card is notable but who cares its a 30 series card.

able to overclock boost to 2115mhz and 15500 on the memory all while running @ 54% fan speed, sustained 64C on 3dmark benchmark using aorus engine software utility to overclock. took me an afternoon to maximize performance. card doesn't do that much better on a higher memory overclock, it just reduces your sustained boost gpu freqs. running on an old tn 240hz monitor @ 1080p

It does terrific in gaming, and hardly ever struggles to surpass 60 FPS. While gaming the temps hit over 50 Celsius. The fans do kick in and it can drop the temp back to 40. This GPU feels kind of cheap, but it has great cooling once the fans kick in.
