I went into this card knowing I wasn't going to be overclocking it and if I did, it would be minimal. Despite that, the performance is insane coming from a RTX 2070 Super. I have not reached past 66 in temps. It is quiet, a little flashy, and just enormous. I think it's wrong that Aorus doesn't supply a bracket because of sag but I just used JayzTwoCents idea of putting screws near the back side of the pc. I'll demonstrate in pictures. Despite that I do have a GPU sag installed but it's not necessary. Paranoia I guess. I don't know what people are having trouble with in RGB Fusion. I've turned off my pc and it has kept the same gifs, jpegs, or whatever enthusiast application I have put up. I'm not seeing the problem with the software that other's are complaining about. I can't believe I have one of these cards still.

Performance: Because of the 350W power limit, this card cannot perform as well as it should as if it was a 3x 8pin card(Xtreme version) during overclocks. What this means is that it's unable to maintain a higher average overclock due to the power limit. I was getting lower scores than a 3x 8pin card I was comparing it to during benchmarks that has a higher power limit of 450W. Even though it's power limited, in actual gaming experience that would only be 1-3fps difference at most. What this card is great at is maintaining a good average temperature. During benchmarks, I was getting an average temperature of low 50s with the GPU fans at 100% which isn't loud at all. Rather quiet compared to other GPUs I've used. Benchmarks are made to push the card at its limit so I would believe that most games wouldn't even get the card reaching above 60c or around low 60c with a custom fan curve and decent airflow from the case.
Overall the card performs pretty well. It's a bit pricy for a dual 8pin card with a lower power delivery of 350W compared to other cards within the price range. The fans are really quiet and the card itself cools really well. RGBfusion which is used to control the LCD that can be a bit tricky to get working. Every reboot, I had to manually get back to the LCD options in RGBfusion in order for my custom GIF to display which stays on until I restart the PC. Takes about 10 seconds at most. Since I have a gigabyte board, I rely on RGBfusion for most of my lighting anyway. If you're not into overclocking or benchmarking, this card isn't a bad buy. At this price range, I would prefer something with a bit more power for overclocking. Other then that, I guess the LCD screen and great temps makes up for it.

First this card is very powerful and will deliver on FPS in every 1080p-1440p title. Secondly, this card has great overall look and performance, the LCD screen is a huge vinous but it does not display cpu temps which in my opinion is a big negative. The card running COD Warzone and Cold War, temps only reached 69 degrees C maximum and stayed in that range sometimes even lowering too the 50’s. Further this card is a heavy beast, you will need a sag bracket I bought the Lian li graphics card sag bracket at micro center for around 10 dollars. this mounts to your mother board and seems to work very nicely. Further depending on what cpu you have will also determine the FPS you get so don’t forget about getting a solid cpu to match the power of this card.

I've had this card for a couple of months and it performs great! I game at 1440p ultra settings and it runs like butter. Temperatures are also pretty good, considering how power hungry these cards can be. My card never exceeds 60c on all games. For anyone that cares, this card includes a dual bios switch. One for silent mode and the other for factory overclock (1845mhz btw)
Besides performance, the build quality is great and the LCD screen on the side is a nice touch. It takes a bit to get used to due to Gigabyte's garbage RGB Fusion software. But the custom gifs, texts, real time computer statistics, and pictures makes it a fun gimmicky feature.
Now for the RGB, its pretty bland in my opinion and not the most vibrant compared to other 3080s i've seen. Much of it is located on the bottom of the card. Unless you plan to vertically mount this card, its not going to be very visible. There are some on the top and front but its not minimal. I could care less about RGB, just throwing this out there for RGB fanatics.
Overall, this 3080 is a great AIB card and would definitely rank it as one of the "alpha" 3080s, such as the Strix for example.

This girl is thicc. Nearly a 3.5 slot card. 2x 8 pins on top for power delivery. FYI. A 2nd revision is coming soon and will have 3x 8 pins similar to the extreme for better power delivery so you better be prepared. That means a beefier psu. At least 850 watts. They will increase tpg to 375+. This card gets hot so you better have adequate cooling. Better thermals = better overclocking. Therefore slightly better performance gains. My testing with My setup 5950x 64gb ram asus crosshair hero 8 wifi. It can run cyberpunk 2077 at 2560x1440 with Ray tracing ultra preset @60fps most of the time. Average frames is 50. Switching it to high with rt enabled it will 75-80 fps. All stock, no overclocking. Further changing removing rt etc I can get 110+fps at 1440p. I don't mind the lower frames at ultra settings. This game looks darn good. I have not tried 4k testing since I don't have a 4k monitor.

Go ahead and grab an anti sag bracket as well because this thing is huge! Triple the size of my G1 1080!!
Plays everything greatly at 2k above 60fps.
Also bless BestBuy’s system of being able to purchase one because the rest disappear within seconds.

So things to know:
Avg temp on idle Lian cool AIO 360 and mesh case is about 32⁰-42⁰
Program for temp managers don't really pick up the name description, but only "Nvidia 3080 RTX"
It takes 4 slots in the case , it's box, is bigger than shoebox
DO NOT try to clean its small screen even with a glass cloth or You will scratch it regardless
The fans don't really activate unless if the GPU is having to do some heavy load.

This GPU could handle anything I threw at it in Ultra settings at 2k with over 144fps. 4k was 80fps on average. However, 2 years later the card is defective. I went to turn on my PC and as soon as it passed the initial BIOs screen, the screen was filled with lines, you could see the Aorus logo scattered across the screen blurry as well. The card was never overclocked the entire time I owned it.

The graphics card itself was amazing.. BUT

Gigabyte is one of those companies that you kind of tilt your head on. I ended up going with a gigabyte motherboard and even had gigabyte fan grills on my Noctuas'. So being able to score not only a 3080 card in general, but an Aorus was a huge plus! Here is the catch...
The card is fairly overpriced for three distinct features: the overclocking capability, the modified fans/heat dispersion, and LCD screen. The RGB works fine but what makes this card stick out is indeed the LCD panel.
What works so far:
The amazing upgrade to seamless 4k gameplay at around 60+ fps (no crash to desktop thanks to NVIDIA), the full coverage cooling with being almost the most quiet 3080 out there, and the RGB.
Here is what doesn't:
The LCD screen... The settings for the LCD screen does NOT currently save after shut down. Sticks with the Chibi egg ALL THE time, and also GIF uploads not only take a ridiculous amount of time to configure/upload but ALSO does not work as well! (Uploaded a gif that had Jim look at Pam and air high five from a scene in The Office, the LCD screen stayed stuck at Jim looking at Pam with no movement). My favorite mode is actually the GPU live temperature gauge.. Which I have had repeatedly notice the GPU stops reading after a couple hours and stays frozen to a certain degree until shut down which you then have to go back into the program to reconfigure what you want on the LCD screen THAT DIDN'T SAVE. On top of that manually curving the fans was nearly impossible. It sounds confusing because it is, I mean I don't know why or how you can make those fan points unmovable and to create a frustrating time for your customers... I honestly felt they had to have done that on purpose.
Conclusion:
The 3080 is like finding a needle in a very large industrial sized haystack. I am grateful to be lucky enough to have one of these on deck. However, Gigabyte is KNOWN to have one of the worst programs and BIOS to run their equipment and this card proves exactly that. There is no issue with the card itself (even NVIDIA's drivers are responsible for the crash fix), but focusing solely on the customizable aspects of this card FORCED to use their awful program has been a horrible experience both card and motherboard...
If there were more of an abundance of cards to buy, I honestly would have chosen a much cheaper card with a company who actually knows how to build programs to run their equipment. I wouldn't have cared for the LCD screen if I knew it wasn't up to par with it's launch yet. Updates need to be searched on their website and sought out rather than just an efficient program that does it all in one with weekly update checks. Same with BIOS updates. I honestly will switch to another company in my future builds strictly because these programs they make are just that bad. For 900 bucks? I'd expect that LCD screen to be at least working.

I was fortunate enough to find one of these cards at a local Best Buy. The card itself is a more expensive model but you're paying a little bit more for the look and a slight performance increase out of the box. The card itself is one of the better looking cards First off, this card is massive, so make sure you have a case that can fit it before you fire away on a purchase. It's a very heavy card so you will need to invest in a GPU support as it immediately sags on installation. You can not use your standard support bracket that runs from the back of the case underneath the card due to the width of the card and fan placement. Maybe with a different case you can make it work but on a Meshify s2 i couldn't. You will need one of the stand a lone gpu supports that sit to the right of the card.
After installing the card and booting up, this is where the fun begins. This is my first time owning a Gigabyte product. I've owned ASUS boards, corsair products, NZXT and a couple other brands. RBG support is usually fairly straight forward. RGB Fusion 2.0 is by far the worst software I've ever used. Speccy detected the card. RGB Fusion 2.0 would not at all and its made by the same vendor!!! i had to change drivers, install, uninstall and I was only able to get the software to detect the card one time. I left the software up overnight to make sure I could make changes if I wanted to again and I came back to a frozen computer. Upon restart, the card was undetected again. Save yourself the headache and go with a different brand if you can.

The card manages to stay cool and shockingly quiet under load. It exceeded my expectations when it comes performance. Luckily, I haven’t had too much trouble with the LCD screen and it’s software, unlike some other customers. The only issue I have with my purchase wasn’t the card itself, but the price. For $900, you don’t get that much more of an advantage over cheaper cards, besides the little screen and maybe the cooling. Overall, I’m still more than happy with my purchase and I hope more people are able to play with this card.

It is not the largest 3080... but it is not the runt of the litter either!
This card can handle anything I can throw at it and at ultra settings!
Tip: make sure you have the space for the card, length and height are a factor. Takes 2.5 slots up, so don't plan on anything being close to it.
It is fun being able to customize the rgb to your hearts desire and even load custom images to the built in lcd screen. Though that is a bit of overkill.

This card can boost and sustain 2000 mhz clock speeds while still being under 65 degrees. It can play any game you have at 60 fps 4k, or 120+ FPS at 1440p. I have 0 complaints about the actual hardware or the cooling solution.
The only issue I have had is the RGB fusion software is garbage. The LCD screen is virtually useless, it is a constant picture of an egg. I have tried every forum recommendation to solve this issue and it has not worked. I briefly had an Aorus x570 elite and the RGB fusion worked only with that motherboard. Did not work with the ASUS Tuf x570, or my current board MSI x570 tomahawk.
If you are lucky it works, if you're like me it wont. I hope gigabyte release software half as good as their hardware. I decided to give 4 stars because the performance of the card is phenomenal, but when buying such an expensive hardware the software should also work.

Basically a unicorn nowadays. You'd be better off going for a Mega Millions jackpot than trying to get a 3080.
This Card is MASSIVE. 4 slot cooler, LCD display and LONG. I have never seen this card get hotter than 77c on auto fans and MSI Afterburner auto OC. Though thats probably because its in a O11 Dynamic PCMR edition with 2 fans blowing directly into it.
