I upgraded from the 3070 8 gigabytes. The jump in performance for 1440 gaming is quite substantial and I can set ultra quality on everything at that resolution. I also have a VR setup with the Reverb G2 and I can play Alyx at Ultra. It now appears more realistic and it feels more immersive. The game said I'm playing over recommended settings, but nary a hiccup. It is expensive for only 12 gb of VRAM, and a 192 bit memory interface. It's also the most massive card I've ever purchased. I have the Cooler Master square Lan case and I had to remove the front chassis to install it. It was 2 mm too long and I had to loosen the fan give it clearance (view photo, and please excuse my laziness when it comes to cable management). You should measure your case before purchasing. Yes, it's expensive, but this thing built like a tank. Cooling is not an issue and it doesn't get too hot under full load, even being slightly overclocked. The maximum wattage is 285 under full load. That's about 60-70 more watts than the 3070, so you will need a PSU of 750 watts. I ran the User Benchmark test. With the 3070, it was 153% and described as the "bee's knees." The 4070 ti was at 248% and described as "off the charts." If you can afford it, get it. The regular 4070 is good for 1440 as well I hear for $200 less. My current chipset is the Z390 chipset using a i7 9700K Intel Coffee Lake with 32 gigabytes of DDR 4 RAM.

****THIS CARD IS HUGE***
You have been warned, please make sure it fits your case before purchasing, Now that that is out the way, this card is excellent, it runs smooth, plays all my games with ease, runs nice and cool. The app is basic and easy to use for the GPU, I hated the process of installing the bracket for it but its a must and holds the card in place quite nicely. For the price I couldn't be happier vs getting a 3090ti. I generally get EVGA but since they stopped making cards Gigabyte has impressed me. Solid card and will run anything you throw at it IMO.

For the record, I didn’t upgrade to this card from a previous gen nvidia card. I had a 6700 XT that wasn’t cutting it on my 4K TV so yeah, I might have paid too much for this, but the difference is night and day. So far it’s chewed through every AAA game I’ve thrown at it and even in my tiny micro-ATX case it keeps temps under 65. I do plan on undervolting and changing the fan curves a bit but that’s mostly to deal with the noise as it is louder than I want it to be when ramped up.
All in all I think this was a good generation to get back into Nvidia. Yeah the price hikes on these suck but somehow I just don’t think it’s going to be coming down without making some compromises.

Bought this as an upgrade from a EVGA 3060ti FTW, the 4070ti almost doubled my score in benchmarks. Performance is great and card runs cool. I was unable to use the included support bracket as it would not allow the gpu to seat all the way into the pcie slot. Needs shorter standoffs. It is big, just make sure you have room! Case in pic is an Lian Li O11.

This is the sweet spot if you want performance and 2k resolution. Everything looks crisp even on low settings/performance mode for competitive gaming. I play EFT and it looks real good: 120 avg FPS on Customs map. Absolute overkill on Fortnite. My setup is an i9 10920x 5.0ghz 3.0 cache 32gb quad channel cl14 3400mhz, Gigabyte 4070ti. I upgraded from a 2080ti which is still great for 1080p.

The Gigabyte 4070 Ti Gaming OC is a beast, delivering excellent 1440p gaming performance and even handling 4K in many titles. It stays relatively cool under load, and the factory overclock provides a nice boost. Just be aware this card is HUGE - make sure your case can handle it! If you've got the space and want a powerful card, this is a great pick.

These FBs in these reviews keep parroting "negative" talking points they've heard on YouTube reviews; 12GB of vram is too little, bus width too small, water too wet, etc etc - and overall just keep flooding the space with literal nonsense "reviews". It's just not a factor in real-world gaming. I'm convinced these guys just look at specs and frame rates and buy "high good" "low bad." At a certain point, money-wise, power-wise, it just doesn't matter. And the 4070ti is at that point.
This card is the sweet spot in the 4000 series. There's absolutely no reason you should buy the 4090 or 4080 variants. If you think this card isn't good enough for gaming (4K or otherwise), you're simply one of those people, chasing those extra unnoticeable frames - why?
Do you even game, bro? Probably not.

Been working amazingly!! I sometimes forget I can’t just hyper throw my graphics to high in every game and it’s so hilarious! I’d recommend getting it if you don’t have the options of other cards or prefer getting it from BestBuy because of their geek squad or convenience! Will not disappoint you as it’s a great card and I don’t see my self replacing for the years to come no doubt! Pretty massive too! So watch out for that but otherwise it’s a great card and it stays pretty low temp when gaming! Idle temp around 37°C and when gaming the highest I’ve noticed it go was around 55-60°C!

Solid card, performs very well at 1080p normal and ultra wide high/ultra settings, 1440p high normal and ultra wide. Temps stay very reasonably low even in my shared space with 3 computers and 8 monitors active. Very stable and I agree with ranking board, this is definitely a card that is among the top 5 4070ti's and if you can get it at a good price, go for it.

Card is amazing! I upgraded from 2080 super because I was having a hard time on games like the Witcher 3 enhanced and cyber punk on my new 1440p Oled. Now I’m running eveything max settings. Cards a bit big though.

Amazing Card
I was going to buy the 4070 vs the 4070ti
Price difference was $200 less for the 4070. But after doing some research the 4070ti its clock speed was faster. Definitely not disappointed. Runs very well. Originally i was going to buy the 4090 but they were out of stock. Here hope for the 50 series.
Alan Wake came for free with my purchase and i wasnt even aware of it lol. To bad I already bougjt the game. My 3070 couldnt handle the game, but the 4070ti runs it perfectly.
