I ordered an open box eagle looking to save a few bucks and I wouldn't recommend it. There were several shipping delays and the outer box had been through the ringer with one end looking like it was kicked.
The real issue was that the gpu was defective and in a major way. It gave a picture but made horrible noises while installing drivers that reminded me of a hard drive going bad and scratching the platter. I have seriously never heard a gpu make these noises before. But drivers installed so I figured I'd give it a light test with userbenchmark, which is not demanding at all. Well it didn't matter, the 6500xt was not recognized and the system showed as no Direct3d devices onboard. I have hands on experience with a 6500xt from a different manufacturer brand new and it ran this basic test just fine with no such pop up. So it couldn't even run a low demand test. It also made horrendous noises while just sitting, and not coil whine but something akin to the sounds of dying dial up connections of yesteryear. Due to that I didn't even dare trying to play a game as I was honestly concerned for the rest of the system. So it seems the Bestbuy open box team are only doing very basic function testing on the products going out the door. Bestbuy is great about returns so I returned the defective Eagle to my local bestbuy about an hour after it was delivered. If looking for a GPU of this performance level just buy a new one I guess.

If you want better than RX 580 performance on a budget, get this.
If you want low power consumption but solid 1080p gaming, get this.
If you want a small card to fit into a tight space, get this.
If you want an excellent Gigabyte service warranty, get this.
If you're using a processor/motherboard with PCIE 3.0 only, maybe look elsewhere (spend a little more on a 6600).
I bought this on open box for just over 200 to run with my PCIE 4.0 3700X and I don't regret it.

It was an awesome price during the gpu crysis now I would say it's good if you can get it for $150. Same fps as the Xbox series s but if you can get a PCIe 4.0 PC. Any older PC it performs like 4gb rx 480.

I was using this in a super overpowered home theater PC. Initially I got a black screen because my motherboard pcie settings were set to Auto instead of pcie 3.0 which is what the motherboard was capable of. This GPU is a pcie 4.0 device so my motherboard was confused. After working that out, this card was cool quiet and specifically small for the home theater PC. I ended up returning it for two reasons, 1. It was in my home theater PC which I use to stream games on zoom with my friends(Jackbox) and that was not working turns out this card does not support video encoding so it failed me in that respect. 2. because I found a 3050 for $10 more with double the vram, and video encoding.

The price of this GPU is tempting. If you take the plunge make sure your motherboard's PCIe slot is Gen 4. Otherwise if you mount it in a Gen 3 slot, you will lose considerable performance. If you can afford a bit more, I highly recommend the RX 6600,

It is an alright card just to get you started, and that's about it. You cannot record or stream with it, but with the current chip shortage. It is the next best option.

Absolutely great product, changed my old GPU out for it and I couldn't have chosen a better one, having the ability to also see how hard it's running and being able to choose how hard to run the GPU is great as well

We all know this isn't the best gpu out there, that's a given, and anyone looking to buy this knows that. This card isn't going to win you any tournaments on the latest and greatest Battle Royale games out there. That being said, you should still be able to have a decent 1080p experience with this. If you're like me, and you probably are, you need a graphics card, but your budget is dismal to say the least. I'm a gamer, but I mostly play older titles such as Skyrim and Fallout 4 on my old Dell Inspiron that's rockin' an old 4th Gen Intel i7 processor. Bought this to upgrade it and was happily surprised by its perfromance. On 1440p ultra settings heavily modded Skyrim I was able to consistently get 60fps (which is the fps cap) only ever reaching about 50% gpu usage. I decided to see how far it could go and set it to 4k medium settings, and was still able to pull 40 to 50 fps. 4k high settings drops to between 30 and 40, while 4k ultra drops to unplayable. lol On top of all that, I also edit videos for various social media platforms and was pleasantly surprised as to how well it works with the latest version Adobe Premiere Elements. I was able to edit 4k video with ease. Bottom line is, this card runs better than expected. Is it the best option out there, absolutely not. Is it the best option for me based on my needs, budget, current rig, and the gpu shortage, by far.

Bought this to replace an old Nvidia 970 since we could not get the Nvidia 3050 (thanks scalping scum). Overall it is slightly better than the 970 which is what I expected. Decent entry level card, just don't expect to run everything on highest settings and you will be fine

I didn't get an opportunity to use this video card because I was able to pick up a Nvidia 2060 Super several weeks after purchasing it. I watched several YouTube videos about this card before purchasing and was pretty happy with what I saw. Good luck! I returned for a refund.

What the best bang for youe buck? Go get an xbox 360 somewhere. Youll get better performance out of that. Couldn't even play 90% of my games even with low settings.
