This is not sold as a gaming board. But it supports more overclocking adjustments than I will ever use. More importantly it supports a half dozen on board temp sensors plus two headers for add on temp sensors. It comes with an mic that plugs onto board to listen and provide inside the case db levels. The Gigabyte software allows you to assign a sensor to a fan and custom create fan profiles. Full set of led and argb headers. 2 of each. Fusion 2.0 Software sucks, but openRGB supports it well. FOUR m.2 ssd slots 3pcie and one sata that can be polulated with out competing with 6 sata ports. It has Intel trusted platform which is the TPM for Windows 11. It has a TPM header, but that is extra, no need to buy TPM for Win 11. The board is clean, no Argb lighting on the board but the silver heat syncs reflect the lights you may install nicely. Supports power and display port of one USBc like a thunderbolt port, good to art tablets etc. But it also supports a thunderbolt add in card. Easy to update bios etc. Best Motherbosrd I have worked with in 25 years of bulding my own gaming video machines.

I have had this mobo for a few months now and a couple of revisions. It has been great and haven’t really had any major issues, but have had a couple minor ones. First off, here are the things I like. The white-ish theme goes really well with the build I am trying to achieve. Be aware the heatsinks are a light silver color and the blue-purple stuff is more a iridescent look and not as solid as it looks in the pictures. More blue than purple though. As mentioned above, it has the theme-ish color I was going for and it also has lots of ports. More than almost all the other boards in its price range, and as prices get lower, even better. If you don’t care about color, the Aorus line may be a better pick for you. It has fairly high ram OC headroom and great VRM specs for my setup. Here is my setup should you care more about specs: 12700k, 3080fe, Corsair RM850x, 32GB Corsair 3600C18, Corsair xh305i LC kit with 2x480mm Rad replacing the 360mm one. TT Core P5 Case. It powers everything I have thrown at it except the RAM. Which leads me to my one quirk of this board. The Memory OC. I for the life of me cannot get 64GB 3600C18 (4x16GB) Intel XMP to run stable through this board. I can get it stock 2133, but come on… So that leads me to the point that board compatibility really really matters or that the IMC on the 12700k just enjoys the struggle bus. Either way I dropped back to 32GB and not an issue since. I may try to get some pictures up some time, but the setup is going through some tweaking right now and will never know if it will ever truly be done. Overall, very good board and even better if it matches a theme you are trying to do. Good luck with this and may you enjoy it for many years. P.S. Vying for a spot as a Tech Insider Network member!

Amazing board with tons of options, I chose DDR4 because DDR5 was super crazy at the time, but I don't regret it. Added 128GB of RAM, 3080ti and of course a 12900k. Best computer I've ever had.

Percect for my 13th gen chip. Comes with bios flashback and can support the latest 13th gen with a simple bios flash. Saved some $ on this z690 instead of z790. Performance was the same as any entry level z790 board.
