I've always enjoyed Gilligan's Island - I know several line by line! So, when I saw the price for the entire 3 season collection, I was thrilled to add it to my collection. I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only are the episodes of great quality, but the extras are fun, entertaining, and interesting. The first disc indicates to "turn over for more episodes" so possible it used to be a "back to back" but wonderfully enough, it is not. I do not like back to back - which makes this collection even better. All one-sided discs. If you loved the series, spend the money. You'll not regret it.

Gilligan's Island is one of the great shows that can make you smile no matter what. Jim Backus is hilarious as Mr. Howell. The rest of the cast is great as are the guest stars (especially Hans Conried as Wrongway Feldman). This set is perfect for kids to watch and will bring back memories for even the most jaded adult. Well worth the money.

A group of castaways trapped on an island, trying to escape, all while the bumbling Gilligan ruins every attempt. It's such a simple and repeated concept, but it worked so well! Originally shown in the 1960's, it became more well-known in syndication in the 70's & 80's. It has that cheesy and humor and writing that is a part of pretty much every show from then, so it's a classic for the baby-boomers and early Gen-X. It has every episode, and since it's really never on TV anymore, this is the way to see them all!

I purchased Gilligans Island box DVD set. In the past I found my self picking my favorite character to laugh at. I know they were all funny and the professor would come up with so many ideas. Where did he get the tools to fix these things? LOL!! I found my self Picking out my favorite character again. You get nothing but good old belly laughs from these innocent characters. I’m so glad Best Buy still has these on hand.

I can remember watching this series when I was a kid and it still makes me laugh til this day. "Gilligan's Island: The Complete Series Collection" is a classic comedy of 7 vastly different personalities stranded on an island. "The Skipper" and "Gilligan" share a comedic chemistry that'll make you laugh out loud any day of the week!

Love the show, always have. The distinction between this particular set and the 9-disc version is this one includes the season 1 episodes in their glorious, original black and white! I recommend this set to anyone who's a die- hard fan. Sound and picture clarity are wonderful. Great entertainment at a fantastic price.

I bought this on a whim, the price was good and I have fond memories of the show growing up. It's a good escape from the day to day seriousness we're subjected to these days and always spot on for nostalgia for me. The picture quality isn't great but, for a 50 year old tv show, it's just fine.

Gilligan's Island DVD Complete Set, is a fun trip of laughter and hilarious times. Brings back a lot of scenes that we have talked and laughed about through the years. And the theme song can always be remembered as we sing along. What a variety of fun unique characters. One of the greatest shows ever!

You've heard the age old question: Mary Ann or Ginger? Well little buddy, you don't have to be the professor or rich Mr. Howell to take the 3 hour tour and find out for yourself. This classic show is wholesome and will be a hit with your entire family. Enjoy!

Watching this series is almost like watching a new series unfold, because I never paid attention to the millionaire and his wife. Thoroughly enjoyable 1960s television slap-stick comedy series starring Jim Bacchus (remember Mr. Magoo?) and many others .

I loved this show so much as a kid I actually and a hammock that I slept in for many years. My bedroom looked like a grass hut. This show is family friendly, They just don't make them like this anymore. I also recommend F-Troop, The Munsters, etc.

this is great. came boxed perfectly. each disc is nice and clear. i feel like i'm back in the sixties watching on t.v.

I love Gilligan's Island because I identified with Gilligan. As a kid I was klutzy, and getting to dumb trouble all the time. And Gilligan was not just klutz. Every once in a while, he was the genius. Lot's of survivalism too. Innovation and very different people having to get along.

I bought this primarily for my wife ( or at least that's what I told my self ). But I have enjoyed watching the castaways as much or more than she has. I know it's telling my age, but I remember when the 1st show aired on TV. They don't make shows like this anymore, its all murder series or reality TV. I could care less who is on wife swap!

My 12 year old daughter saw a re-run of Gilligan's Island on TV and wanted to see more... Lucky for us, BB had this little gem. It has been great re-living my childhood TV memories as we watched this together. Good clean wholesome fun!

Great DVD, I really enjoy watching them again so many pleasant memories. Every one so really nice and enjoyable for me.

Every episode, all three seasons, is included in this set, plus commentary on some eps, and a few more extras. I olny wish they'd updated the set to include tributes to the departed actors (Dawn and Tina are still alive), plus the Filmation cartoons. Overall, though, I'm satisfied!

This was a wonderful throwback I enjoyed it when I was a little kid got it at a great price only at Best Buy

Hey Gilligan's Island Fans, You Won't Be Regret Buying This Complete Series Of Gilligan's Island It Includes The NEVER Unseen Pilot Episode... Now SIT BACK and GRAB SOME POPCORN and ENJOY IT !!!

I watched all of Gilligan's Island in my younger years and enjoyed every minute of it. Since my wife did not have a TV, she missed this show. No better way to introduce her to the "Island folk" than to view the video together. Just as much fun now as back then.
