Customers often highlight the GMMK 3 PRO's exceptional build quality, extensive customization options, and impressive battery life. The smooth, responsive key feel and rapid actuation are also frequently praised. However, some users have noted issues with the software's stability, and the keyboard's high price point is a common concern. The included Hall-Effect switches receive positive feedback for their performance.

Not worth the price. The connection constantly drops, and the app is terrible to navigate. I often have to unplug and replug the USB just to reconnect, and the lighting doesn’t sync at all. Overall, a frustrating experience and a disappointing purchase. And now I cant even get a support or return anymore, waste of money!

Outstanding Pro Gamer Keyboard

I have owned various gaming keyboards over the years from the likes of Corsair, Logitech, and Asus. I will be the first to admit I was not familiar with Glorious before this keyboard. The new GMMK 3 Pro is unlike any keyboard I have used before. First, it is built like a tank. When I pulled it out of the box my very first thought was that it could be used in home defense if it didn't work out as a keyboard. It is solid and heavy. Make no mistake it screams premium.
The standout feature for the GMMK 3 Pro is the use of Hall-effect magnetic switches. Without getting overly technical they allow for sensitivity adjustability and feel super satisfying to use. There are other premium pro gamer brands out there that use Hall-effect sensors as well so Glorious is actually coming in later to the party. They feel wonderful to type on and the software allows for key travel switching adjustment so you can make the register as deep or as shallow as you want. Depending on how you game this can be a life changer. I am no pro gamer so I didn't quite get the same level of wow from that feature as more serious gamers probably would, but for the gaming I do it is a spectacular wired/wireless keyboard.
The only real knock I have against it is the software. The lighting adjustments and ease of use leave a lot to be desired. When you compare it against the large brands it has a certain amateur feel. I think further development will help, but for now the software is kind of a pain to use for lighting adjustments especially. So, I have it set at the default lighting pattern and am very satisfied with it. I did run into a situation where I couldn't figure out why the lights on the side kept flashing out of time with the rest of the keyboard. I scoured through the software and couldn't figure out what was going on. Turns out it was the caps lock being engaged. I have to admit that is a pretty strange feature, but at least now I know.
Overall, I love the keyboard. I am just hoping that Glorious continues to improve the software.

Glorious Typing!

Glorious, which has been making accessible customizable keyboards for several years, recently has become far more mainstream with their offerings. The company has just released the latest platform, the GMMK 3, and with it, the PRO series has been updated to at long last. The new top of the line entry, the PRO HE Wireless, incorporates many features that gamers have been asking for – Hall effect keys, and high performance wireless. Does this keyboard live up to the hype? Lets take a look.
In the (fully recyclable) box you will find the keyboard, a keycap and key puller, some documentation, requisite stickers, a braided (but not coiled) cable, a screwdriver, some spare parts, the wireless dongle, and samples of the other styles of hall effect keys. This one comes with all linear keys but since it is fully modular, you can change it to your liking.
Pulling the keyboard out of the box, you are immediately stuck with just how much of a unit this thing is. It’s HEAVY, coming in at a little over 3 and a half pounds. It won’t go anywhere unless you really want it to. The keys are buttery smooth with a nice typing sound. Coming from a different brand of mechanical keyboard, this thing is solid, with no metallic ping or resonance at all. Just the sound of the keys actuating. As this is wireless, it has an extra light at the top in the badge to show the battery status and paring state, as well as control knob.
This thing is loaded with first time features for Glorious. First of all, it has wireless. It can be set to a blistering polling rate of 8,000hz when connected to a wire and a 2ms response time, wireless is more limited but still quite fast. It also supports Bluetooth if you can’t use the dongle or want to pair to a non-gaming device near by! The real star of the show though are the hall effect keys. No physical electrical or optical switches here, Glorious went all out with contactless magnets! Having hall effect keys means that the keyboard knows where each key is as it moves through the keystroke, so you can set your actuation point of where the key registers a press, or even do some crazy things like have the keys change functions as they move through the keystroke and are released. Some functions, like actuation point, can be configured either globally or per key, while others, such as multiple functions, are configured for each key. This keyboard is a tinkerer’s dream, with essentially limitless options to tweak both the physical and logical behavior of the keyboard.
The keyboard also has extensive customizable lighting options. Several functions are built in presets, as well as per key custom lighting if you so desire. Multiple profiles for lighting and key behavior can be loaded using the Core app so they are ready to go based on what you are doing, be it productivity or gaming.
With all of these options this keyboard is a great option for gamers, tinkerers, or those who appreciate a quality typing experience. It is an expensive, premium option loaded with features and high quality keys, and is recommended if you want one of the best prebuilt custom keyboards around.

Premium and hefty keyboard made for customization

I was immediately astonished by how hefty the Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE 75% wireless keyboard felt, even before unboxing it. You know that feeling when you can tell something is well-made just by its weight? That’s exactly what I got with this keyboard. After unboxing, it became crystal clear that this wasn’t just a run-of-the-mill keyboard. The entire construction is machined aluminum, giving it a premium look and feel that’s built to last. This is the kind of build quality you just don’t see every day.
The design is just as impressive as the build. The silver and white finish is absolutely beautiful, and the double-shot GPBT keycaps feel incredibly premium. Everything about this keyboard exudes quality, from the materials used to the thoughtful design elements.
Connecting the keyboard was effortless. It connects seamlessly via a wireless 2.4GHz USB dongle or Bluetooth, whichever you prefer. For those who like a wired connection, it also comes with a matching white braided USB-C to USB-C cable, which not only looks great but performs flawlessly.
In the box, they’ve included some thoughtful extras: four sample HE switches, extra screws, o-rings, a screwdriver, a switch puller, and a keycap puller. This makes full customization of the keyboard simple to get started with, and it’s clear that Glorious wants you to have everything you need right out of the box.
Once connected, the keyboard lights up beautifully with RGB lighting, not just on the keys but also with an LED strip along the sides. The typing experience is simply lovely. The keys have the perfect amount of travel and response, making typing or gaming a pleasure. The sound is also pleasing, with a somewhat dampened mechanical clicking sound that’s satisfying without being obnoxious.
However, I have to mention that the spacebar sounds a little hollow, which I found somewhat disappointing. I actually don’t like the sound of the spacebar at all and will definitely be looking for a solution to fix that.
The available software, while still under development for full customization, already offers plenty of options for personalizing the lighting effects, key bindings, and key actuations. I don’t intend to make many changes to the key bindings since the keyboard is beautifully mastered as is, but I’m excited to try out different switches for a more crisp or tactile feel. The Raptor HE and Panda HE switch samples included are particularly impressive, and I’m eager to experiment further.
Overall, the Glorious GMMK 3 Pro HE keyboard is a stunning piece of tech. It’s beautifully built, with boundless possibilities for personalization and customization. While I’m not entirely thrilled with the spacebar, everything else about this keyboard is top-notch, making it a worthy addition to any serious setup.

The pinnacle build quality for keyboards

The Glorious GMMK 3 PRO HE is an absolute powerhouse of a keyboard. During my time using it, several standout features have caught my attention. While comfort and style are subjective, this keyboard offers customization options that cater to any preference.
Gamers can be particular about their peripherals, and this is especially true for those who both game and work on their computers, like me. A good keyboard is essential. From the moment I unboxed the GMMK 3 PRO HE, it felt like a premium product. Browsing the Glorious product page revealed even more possibilities for customization. The keyboard comes equipped with everything you need to start, including tools for swapping keys and other customizable parts. Glorious offers a variety of options to tailor the keyboard to your liking.
For gaming, it’s hard to imagine a better keyboard. You can customize it with clicky keys, different colors for WASD, and other keys commonly used in games. The keyboard can be used wired for the most reliable connection. Its substantial weight provides incredible stability, making it feel as solid as a small kettlebell—a testament to its quality.
For office or WFH use, the keyboard is more than adequate. The typing experience and stability are exceptional. The only downside is its 75% layout. Since I frequently use number pads for Excel, I had to use a separate number pad. However, the keyboard’s quality makes this a minor inconvenience.
Overall, if you’re looking for top-tier quality, stability, and customization, this keyboard excels in all three areas. If you need a keyboard solely for office work, you might prefer a 100% layout. But for those who game and work, this is a top-tier choice, offering a high-quality blank canvas to create your perfect keyboard.

Be prepared for keys not to work from time to time. Not reliable. Battery life is terrible as well. Going to return. Beautiful unit but battery and unreliability is a big issue.
