I grew up watching early Godzilla and King Kong movies on TV. They were lots of fun! The new “Godzilla vs Kong” Blu Ray DVD is great fun for kids of all ages (but might be a little too intense for young children). This movie has a great plot with sub-plots too. The action is intense and very fun to watch. I can whole-heartedly recommend “Godzilla vs Kong” as a super action movie!

I loved this movie! Heck, I love this series of movies! It was soooo good to get away...to escape reality and just see an old fashioned giant monster slug-fest!!! Two of my favourite giant monsters duking it out in HD!!! What's not to like?! The story line was fun, too! Well defined characters as well! Plenty of comic relief and very little "preachy" stuff! Overall, just good old fashioned Kaiju fun!!! Three thumbs up!!! (What can I say! I'm a mutant!) :)

The fourth film in the Monsterverse that kicked off with Dodzilla(2014) is basically the Avengers or what Zack Snyder's Justice League is.The culmination of the first phase of this shared universe.The payoff and it certainly is,a fun one at that.As with most of these filmsn,the human characters are side notes although it was nice to see some returning faces from King Of The Monsters.It's the montster actian,we're here for and it delivers.Plus the film looks and sounds great on Blu Ray.Some great special features too.

Two titans finally collide in this MosnterVerse mash-up! When Godzilla starts wreaking havoc across the world, humans decide the only being capable of stopping the titan is another titan. In this case, the giant ape known as Kong. But as these beasts prepare to collide, another sinister being threatens them both. Fans of both Godzilla and Kong should get this movie. Total recommendation.

It’s a fun film and lives up to the title of Kong vs Godzilla.

Great addition to the Godzilla and King Kong movie legacy! Lot’s of action and wonderful special effects! The young child first seen in the opening scene is sure to become an outstanding actress! She has the ability to show great emotion, understanding, and caring without speaking a word. An amazing performance. Superb ending to this action filled movie,

I was VERY torn on whether I wanted to watch this or not because I'm THAT girl that doesn't want to watch either character die. But, I'm glad I finally settled on watching it. Tons of action, graphics were well done, and it had me glued. Honestly, I was so focused and entertained that it was over before I knew it and left me wanting more!

One of the best monster movies I've ever seen. A lot critics complained that this is more of a slug fest than anything else. That the story isn't so good. I really don't care because I'm sure many people, just like me, came to watch Godzilla fight Kong and whatever else is happening around them just isn't that important.

I was initially concerned how this film was going to work out. After 2 Godzilla films making him a hero and 2 for Kong making him a hero, I was concerned how they could possibly make this work if they were fighting each other. I have to admit, they actually did a good job making it all work. Sorry, you will have to watch it--no spoilers here!

The case artwork as well as the slipcover looks excellent. The movie is one all can enjoy, especially Godzilla and King Kong fans. It's exciting, engaging, and full of action. My only complaint is that it doesn't contain more special features than the DVD version like Blu-ray versions normally do. Otherwise it's great!

I’ve waited years to see a great matchup between Kong and Godzilla that did not involve men in rubber suits Karate chopping each other. The wait is over! This is a visual feast with excellent CGI, action, and a few surprises. What the story lacks, and it does, the action and excitement more than make up for.

This is the best kong movie so far. The emotional connection between kong and the little girl is so sweet and can make you cry. I like that both kong references the last movie SKULL ISLAND & godzilla the king of monsters. I love the ending, also hoping it does mean more movies with both kong & godzilla.

If you like giant creatures - robots - (kaiju - jaegers) then this movie is for you! The movie tech has finally caught up with the characters - everything looks great! Sure beats the original visuals (you know, the wrestlers in rubber suits (which have their own charm, by the way)) -

Godzilla vs. Kong was a good ending to the current Monsterverse films (though it may continue in new ways). While the acting and some of the characters could have been better, the monster fights were great, and the surprising characters which appeared were also nice.

With a film title that says versus Godzilla vs Kong is a film that delivers on it's promise! I'm so glad to have this film in my collection so far of the monsterverse films! As Optimus Prime says in Transformers "At the end of this day one shall stand and one shall fall.'

Good sci fi turn your brain off movie. Drags a bit in the beginning but ends well. If you are a Zilla or Kong fan youll probably enjoy it. I did saw it twice in theaters even with the slow first half. Nice conclusion to the skull island universe. Would have rated higher if it moved a bit faster and I had a few nit picks with the climax but enjoyed it.

My son loves this movie! Action filled with great CGI and sound. Kinda old school to buy a DVD but it comes with a digital download too. So at least I know that even if the disc gets lost or scratched we have the digital copy. Super easy to make an account and redeem the digital download. It’s not the best movie but the action will keep you watching.

Love monster movies, hope they make more of these. Like the two formats also at this price. Did pick-up this item were as I would normally have it delivered as it is more convenient due to road conditions and location of store. Hope Best Buy keeps selling movies.
