I originally bought the Chamberlain Q, but found that it had no connectivity with other products and limited features. The GoGoGate 2 was relatively easy to install, and works well. I have integrated it into my IFTTT account and tie it into my Amazon echo so I can give voice commands (which work great). I like the ability to create user accounts. The only downside is the safety features... the system emits a loud beep and flashes a very bright light for several seconds before opening... so for me to tell Echo to open the garage door it's just opening by the time i walk out to the garage door (I park outside). Overall it's great and I recommend it.

I picked this one because it works with Amazon's Echo and IFTTT. The other one Best Buy carries in store does not. Super simple setup although instructions aren't greatest. Simple 2 wire hookup you can do at the wall switch or up at the door open itself. App setup was simple. Gave it 4 stars because in order to use video plug in to connect a video cam in the app you have to pay subscription fees.

The unit is simple to install and works as advertised. The only problem I had was that it was to come with an adapter for the SD card and did not. When I contacted the support for this unit, they asked where I purchased it from and once I responded, I never heard back again from them. A little dishartening.

The Gogogate2 is everything I had hoped for and more. It even allows me to open and close my garage door with my watch... from anywhere. I get notifications when my garage is opened and closed. It's fantastic.

Very easy 2 wire install and wifi setup. Works with amazon Echo through IFTTT. A little over priced.

Forget to replace batteries or to have your remote on your car to open your garage door GoGo gate is the way to go + you can open your garage door from anywhere you are with your smart phone.

My husband installed it and had it running on all three garage doors in about 30 minutes. So far, it works great!

Only fault is the double sided sticky tape didn't hold for more than a few months. Otherwise, works as expected and integrates with Alexa via IFTT. Ironically, since I've installed this I hardly ever wonder if my garage has been left open. Guess it provides that piece of mind.

I chose this product because we have an older-style tilt-up (single panel) garage door, and Gogogate 2 supports it. The primary competitor's product does not support these types of doors. Installation was easy. It took literally took 30 minutes to install. The online manual walks you through all of it (have a tablet or laptop with you as you're installing, alongside your phone). The device has an access point in it, you join your phone up to it, it walks you through everything, and it's simple. Only a couple physical connections were required, and you're all set. The alerting is fast -- literally seconds after the door is opened, your app alerts and you get an email (if you set it up for that).
