The Chromecast Streaming Media Player I purchased from Best Buy has proven to be an excellent means for streaming a multitude of applications from my mobile phone, tablet, and PC directly to any TV in my house. It is very easy to use. Considering the inexpensive price of this product I have also purchased a second one to handle TV's located in second floor of my home.

Awesome product, easy to use and easy to install. I bought this primarily for Netflix use. I don't watch too much Netflix but like to have the option to watch on another television besides my living room. Very easy to set up and use the apps once downloaded. There is a little lag time when watching YouTube videos but nothing too bad. Takes a few seconds when pausing Netflix videos, but that's expected while going through your wifi. I like how it's hidden away in the back of the television and all self contained right there. No visible wires sticking out everywhere. Comes with a power adapter if you don't have a USB port on your tv and a extender if you have poor wifi reception. I got away without using the extender and my television is in the far corner of my house away from the wifi router.

With Chromecast I can stream not just content from apps like YouTube, HBOGo, Pandora, Netflix, Hulu, etc, but video content from web pages/Facebook (using an Android device running a Google Chrome browser). I can take it with me when I travel. plug it into the hotel TV (HDMI) and connect it to their WiFi network to stream just as I would at home. Love it. I DO wish they'd include more apps, like Spotify and more games, but overall it's great for the price.

Works great, but yesterday while watching MI-Ghost Protocol, I got a call on my cell, which is the remote. Chromecast would not pause so i could answer the call. Normally my Galaxy S4 does a great job as the remote. Not sure what the prob was, but it's back to normal now. $35 and 3 months free Netflix. I can't really complain!

This is a great product. I love being able to finally watch youtube on my tv. It very rarley needs to buffer and is very reliable. The only trouble I am having is with the screen mirroring but that is still in beta. It works but sometimes may just stop unexpectedly.

The Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player plugs into the HDMI on my TV and let's me stream online music, Netflix, etc. with control from my Droid and ipad where ever my Apple isn't attached. It's a great and inexpensive amazing little unit. I totally recommend it!!

This is by far the quickest, easiest and affordable way to turn your TV into a smart TV. Being able to cast from most entertainment apps is something that I have been wanting for a while now. I came very close to buying devices like Roku. But once I heard of ChromeCast, and especially it's very reasonable price, I was sold. It has been a great experience, with very minor drawbacks. Overall I'm very happy with this product, and have even purchased one for a family member. :)

It's a great buy for the price. The watching experience varies between good and excellent, depending on the speed of the wireless network and Netflix/Youtube traffic. The main problem I find with Chromecast is that the smartphone has trouble with controlling the movies that are streamed from Netflix. It's hard to pause, resume or rewind. Also, it appears that Chromecast does not support the streaming of one's own content. I still haven't been able to figure out how to show my own movies and pictures that are stored in my computer or smartphone. Let's hope that Google soon decides to support these features, and that they publish a detailed user manual online.

Chromecast is awesome. It was easy to set up, works extremely well with my GS6, my kids' iPhones & iPads. Very happy I made the purchase. Considering purchasing a second one.

It's alright. It streams your tv shows, Netflix and all that jazz but it requires to stay plugged into an outlet for it to work which makes no sense to me if it is plugged into your TV. That's my only complaint. Other wise it works flawlessly. It connects to all my devices and to my internet connection. If you don't mind having one less wall adapter option then it's great an works perfectly. It does its job we'll, only if it's plugged in that's all.

I really enjoy using my chromecast streaming device no more buying or renting movies.

Google chrome cast is capable of mirroring content from all android divises all you need is a hd tv and a android mobile divise and you can cast music from google play music and movie and google chrome has a app store on board chrome cast so you can cast away on to a hd tv from your mobile divise and tablet .

It is easy set up, compact. It can share with any devices in your home.

not much to say great item,looks great,just what I needed,was planning for a long time to install when I plug it in my coffee took longer to brew than me watching a show from the get go.I recommend this item best and easiest to install had to buy one for each of my bedroom very satisfied,thank you!

Enjoy this product, very easy setup and easy to use. Quality picture when streaming from computer, ipad, iphone etc to tv. Just wish you only needed one on tv, so all of your tv's could pick up signal. You have to have one for each or move it to another tv. But it is very easy and compact to do so. The price is great also.

I love this device so much that I purchased a second. It allows me to share music and movies from my phone to the tv. By getting a second Chromecast, my teenagers get to share music and movies with friends in their rooms; that's just how inexpensive and great the Google Chromecast is. I love it so much, I'm planning to get one as a gift for my mother.

I rally like the product but as a family I find we use Amazon Fire more because of the remote. Some things are available on Amazon. Other items are found on Chrome.

We can play anything from YouTube for our toddler in the playroom using the chrome cast & our iphone, iPad or tablet. It is the best value for this application! On demand has nothing on this!

I will recommend a friend to purchase this. .it's the best tv mirroring I ever got for my kids they love it. .
