I've been using Google Fi for a couple of years now as my personal data provider - my phone is my internet now, with unlimited tethering. Recently, one of my rural clients decided they needed a simple backup for when their internet went down, so I purchased Google Fi and a cheapie phone and taught them how to tether.

Trust me if you're skeptical about Google Fi, do not be. I popped in my sim card, transferred over my pre-existing number from T-Mobile over to Google and I was on my way. I'm saving money without any frills and the service is the same just as if I was back on t-mobile. Google uses T-Mobile so the only thing that I have lost is simply a brand name. If you add on a total of four lines you cannot beat the price.

Is exactly what it says it is. Getting everything set up wasn't the easiest for me, hence the 4/5 star rating. Never have issues with my service though, so I do recommend it!

Love it,it was easy to install the sim card and easy to activate the service. You also save money buying it at Best Buy and not through google fi.

Sim card was purchased for a UK trip. While the setup was easy, the data did not work in the UK. Yes I had the $65 unlimited plan

Got this on sale to try out the service. It was a good value, but in the end the service, while good, was to expensive to keep.

Good service most places. Very easy to install and maintain. Price is comparable to most services. What I like the most is flexibility.

It was great to use but it was a little difficult to get set up.

I purchased this to go with my new Google Pro 6 phone. It was slightly difficult to activate but I was able to figure it out. I purchased the cheapest plan I could find

Goog-Fi is the Best value out there in my opinion. I switched Myself, wife, and son to it from AT&T. Better signal, saved $100 monthly.

It was easy to get. Easy to setup. And works like a normal sim. Overseas and all.

Really easy to set up and get connected to Google Fi

Got Google Fi sim and called Google and connected it.

You sold me an EXPIRED SIM card. The Google Fi service is GREAT and GREAT price, but watch out for BESTBUY selling Expired SIM cards.

Bought the 1 month $50 Simply Unlimited Plan with the sim card. Inserted it in my Moto G Power and got Google Fi service. I then also immediately got charged $57.21 for the first month of service, bringing my total to around $100 for my first month of service. I called, I texted, I DM'd, they all told me to pay it, that's how it works.

Worst support from Google. Spent over two hrs on the phone the day I purchased and was told that they could not help me set this up because it was a prepaid for monthly service and they don’t support that. I could never get an answer as to how they can’t support an item that they clearly sell through a secondary retail.

Works on an iPad- the coverage is great as well. The iPad used to have att and this seems to have better and faster coverage.

So far, it worked for an hour. Found out after 1st flight today in US rhat it wouldn't work. Now in Mex, not working. 50$ purchase at Best Buy a waste.

Google gi has horrible customer service bad signal and very uncooperative

Extremely Complicated Transfer my number to Google FI and Very Expensive Lost $50 (Visible on Verizon is Now $25) With Verizon, my TCL 20Pro 5G Works perfectly. With Google Fi on T-mobile is NOT Compatible.
