Customers praise the Pixel 6 Pro 128GB's camera quality and battery life, with many citing these as top features. However, some users experienced issues with the phone's size, finding it unwieldy, and others reported occasional performance problems and connectivity difficulties. A few also noted the phone's tendency to overheat during use. While the design and refresh rate received positive feedback, concerns regarding software and hardware polish were also raised.

Decent pure android device but not the best. Between Android 12 and possibly the new tensor SOC from google this device is too glitchy at the moment. FIngerprint scanner is noticibly slower than the competition , connectivity issues to the mobilie network/signal strength , phone getting very warm or hot under non intensive task, and the biggest drawback is the downgrade of the front camera vs other pixels(just try to take a image with it in low light) . Some or all of these issues COULD be fixed with software updates but i do not trust any company to make good on that promise, Phone returned(went through a pixel 6 and 6 pro by the way the pro is nowhere near worth 300 extra dollars over the regular 6.

This phone is amazing. So fast. The camera is amazing. The astrophotography mode is insane. The display is beautiful. At first I was worried about battery life but after about 3 days of it "learning" I now have more then 50% charge still left after about 15 hours of use. The only thing I didn't like was having to use it without a case for a few days. It's so slippery. I was terrified I would drop it. But now that it's in a case this truly seems to be a perfect phone.

Outstanding device that competes with the heavy hitters. Outstanding camera, build quality and battery life. Only complaint is the fingerprint scanner underperforms and can be a nuisance at times.

Please DO NOT believe the bad reviews! I've been eyeing this phone since release date and never purchased it due to tech reviewers absolutely trashing it. I finally gave it a shot and I'm absolutely loving it! The fingerprint scanner is not bad at all. It actually works better for me than my S22 Ultra. I haven't experienced any lag or bugs. This device only got hot during setup when I downloaded 153 apps during setup after purchasing it. The battery life is great for me. It lasts well over 24 hours for me (have about 20% left after being off charger for 24 hrs). The battery standby is the closest you'll get to Apple. It's not like Samsung and will drain to 97% quickly without touching it. I rarely do reviews and did this one for the person that might be on the fence about this phone Try it. You won't be disappointed.

Have only had one week so far, but very responsive,
Upgraded from pixel 3XL. Definitely miss the physical fingerprint scanner. in screen scanner is nowhere near as consistent or fast. Maybe will get better as I use more or if I repeat the steps to store print.
Otherwise, phone is super fast and responsive. Talk to text is more reliable. Gestures still need some getting used to.
Love the uniqueness of the color and have a clear case on it to let the sunlight shine.

The Pixel You've Been Waiting For

The build quality of the Pixel 6 Pro exceeded my expectations, and puts it up in the top tier of flagship phones. The cameras are incredible, and coupled with Google's computational photographry takes amazing pictures. The screen is huge, vibrant, crisp and smooth. It's just narrow enough to keep it from becoming unwieldy too. The curved sides look good too, I'm generally not a fan of the curved edges because it makes the colors look off and dark, but this is the best version I've seen on a phone to date. I have two little nitpicks, the in-screen finger scanner is accurate and reliable, but it could be quicker. And the battery life is OK. Not bad for a monster display, but it's a step back from the Pixel 5 power efficiency. That said, this is a MASSIVE step up in every other category from any previous Pixel phone. If you've been Pixel curious, this is the phone to finally try!

*full discretion* I am very pro Google, but not completely blinded when they do make bad products (connection on the original Google buds......) or when they're over priced for what they are (talking about you Google indoor cameras). This phone for the cost is amazing we have full Google home automation so that pairs better than I thought it would like home controls it the drop down menu and flawless assistant. 120hz=smooth screen scrolling and transitions. The phone is not a big phone but has a large screen if that makes sense, I'm comparing the note10 plus which is a slightly bigger screen but really heavy phone. Doubles as a Chromecast remote, camera is amazing but I hear all of them are..... But can only speak for this and the wife's s21 ultra which I think this matches if not surpasses. Love the phone by far my favorite ever. Hope this helps

The upgrades from an older Google Pixel are great. This phone takes awesome pictures that can rival alot of expensive cameras. Good battery life and a very clear screen. Last Pixel I had lasted many years, I expect the same out of this phone.

So, my friends have gone to the other side and bought iPhones. Since I was blown away with the photo quality, I thought I would also make the switch BUT I have bought a few android apps that I would have to purchase again for the iOS system. Nope, won't do it. So, I thought I would get the comparable Samsung S22 Ultra (comparable prices too!) Enter the Google Pixel 6 Pro. I happened upon a YouTube video comparing all 3, and was presently surprised at the comparable photo quality. So I bought it... Half the price (with the additional $200 off!). I LOVE IT. I love the photo quality and options! My friend with the iPhone 12 Pro Max even thinks my photos look better than hers.

Let me be clear. As a phone, this is fine. If you don't care about the details, you'll probably like it but still paying $900+ for a flagship phone with issues and oversights such as this, is not acceptable to me.
This is my first Pixel phone as I've always heard great things so decided to shell out for the 6 Pro. I've never bought a flagship model before (owned Razr, Env 3, Google Nexus, S5, S7, and S9). I've owned this now for about 3 months since launch.
Pros:
-Good battery life
-Solid, durable construction (waterproof, good build quality, no breakage)
-Great hardware (very quick and snappy, never has seized or really shown much latency)
-Fast charging
-Pretty good camera system (not a pro photographer) but slightly overhyped IMO
Cons:
Most of these are probably related to software but here are my issues:
-Fingerprint reading (denied, latency, buggy behavior even with increased sensitivity)
-Fingerprint location (honestly, just use a hardware fingerprint reader. My S9 was perfect).
-Fingerprint not always accessible (again compared to the S9, this is trash. Screen will not always wake to read fingerprint unless tapped, button pressed, or with sufficient ambient light)
-GPS inaccurate at times (terrible when driving. It will show incorrect direction, incorrect location, incorrect speed, or not register location changes at all. This is not always an issue but infrequent and not replicable)
-GPS calibration fails to calibrate (I've used Google Maps for years and know how to calibrate it but it just doesn't do it with my phone)
-Screen wakes repeatedly in calls from ambient light (never had this issue with any other phone with this feature. Causes cheek disconnects or additional dialing, accidental muting, etc)
-Screen did not turn on (one time bug where screen would remain off. The entire display was off, both backlight and LCD but would register touches. Ended up accidentally activating emergency mode and calling 911. Couldn't reset. Eventually it returned to normal.)
-UI glitches (Various glitches like UI settings overlaying. I've had it where my settings from the notification pull down disappeared until I restarted the phone. Usually these glitches are solved with a restart)
-No headphone jack (definitely a trend but succumbing to this, doesn't make Google any better, nor Apple, nor Samsung).
-Network drops (usually after inactivity or transitioning between networks, but happens frequently enough. Network is either so weak for no reason, or will not connect to a cellular network unless phone is restarted)
-Weak vibration (I often don't feel it vibrate and miss messages or calls. Have to use ringer. This is weak in general but really weak compared to my S9).
-Speakerphone voice feedback (If using speakerphone for calls on high volume, call recipient claims voice feedback comes through the phone unless volume is lowered)
-Screen swipe to go back (Not sure if a new Android feature or just a Pixel feature, but the swipe from screen edge to go back, is nice but does not interface well with other apps especially buttons near the edge or like floating chat heads
-No clear all apps (Also not sure if an Android or Pixel problem but to clear all recent apps, must open the recent apps menu and scroll all the way to the first to hit "close all"
Overall, some of these issues are solvable and some may be complainy but my argument is that it shouldn't be like this for a flagship phone. I know Google is working on updates but hasn't fixed even basic issues like the network connectivity or GPS. While I really wanted to like this phone, the issues I encounter with it almost daily are a constant reminder that this flagship device is a disappointment for the price.
I will likely be switching to a Samsung Galaxy S21 Ultra.

I had a love hate relationship with this device. It kept overheating and the modem was horrible. I didn't care to much for the curved sides, but got used to them. I'm a Pixel device guy, and will enjoy the devices as much as I can.

I'm not sure exactly when screen quality became so important on a device that was invented to let people converse without actually seeing each other. But in the same way the sound system is often the "deal maker" when buying a car, screen size and clarity was the "deal maker" when I upgraded my phone. Yes it is fast, loaded with features, and fits snugly in my hand and shirt pocket. But as a 78-year-old man with (somehow) even older eyes, it's great to have a phone I can see clearly when I am looking things up and, from time to time, Zooming a friend on my phone. I love it.

I upgraded from a pixel 4. It's a huge difference in size, but definitely needed. I was a little iffy about the size difference and curvature of the screen, but neither bother me. It's not excessively big for me like I've hear from others. My hands are average size, and it's not a challenge for me to hold on to. Also I went about over a week without a case with no incidents. It was as slippery as I heard. It is slick, but not where it made it impossible to hold. The pixel 6 pro has all the features a tech savvy person would care for. I've greatly enjoyed this pixel product, and don't regret upgrading to the pro.

Pretty good. It's what I expected for the price point. Samsung has a better camera, but it's also $400 more (got this one for roughly $650). Battery however is 24 hours with medium use. Not great if you go extended periods without charging.
Had the original Pixel and the 3 XL. It's more of the same for the most part. I wish the fingerprint reader was still on the back. Through the screen makes it slow. Sometimes the scan can take up to a second.
Overall it's solid. Better than most, but not top of the line. I stayed google because im used to it and not disappointed.

Great phone overall. Charging is very slow. Battery life is average. Fingerprint recognition doesn't work great if you have got a glass screen protector. Screen clarity is great. Phone feels like a premium product in your hand.
