In regards to drop protection it doesn't feel like it has enough but i have dropped the phone at least 5 times and there has been no damage what so ever. The ports/buttons are easy to access which is great but it is a bit slippery.

Google Case

The silicone made not be for everyone, but it has a durable shell all around the case that's helps protect it from bumps. It can get a bit greasy from your fingerprints, but a wipe will help clean it off. Not as sleek as other cases and it could be expensive for some, but I say it's worth the price.

Nice No-Frills Case

Seems like it would protect the phone if dropped from a reasonably short height. The color is good; a little something different than black. And the phone fits snuggly in the case.

The amount of tact seems about right -- enough tact so that it doesn't slide around on a table, but not so much that it hangs up when putting in a pocket.

Pixel 8 case is a Thumbs-Up!

It fits snugly around the phone like a glove and offers plenty of cushy protection from drops and bobbles without being excessively large for any reasonable-size pocket. The case material is engineered to be sticky when on a hard surface but yet is soft to the touch and will slide in/out of a pocket with ease. For a medium-duty case for the Pixel 8, this is a great case.

Falling apart.

There is a chip off one of the corners from a very short fall, and the little strip around the charging port just broke today so it flops around. Very disappointed as ive alway bought the official pixel cases since the pixel 3. Also not a fan of the feel of this case. Not even in the same league as the case for my pixel 7
