Customers are saying

Customers frequently mention the Pixelbook Go's excellent keyboard, long battery life, and light weight as significant advantages. Its ease of use and surprisingly good speakers also receive praise. However, some customers find the price to be high and express concerns about the hinge's durability. Limited storage is another recurring point of feedback.

I bought this laptop for school and I love it. I've owned many lower end chromebooks but this is the first time I've bought one for more than $300. The light weight makes it easier to handle and the nice screen causes less eyestrain when you're using it all day. The keyboard seems really comfortable for long term use, and the light up keys help at night. Overall, the high end features matter when you use it all day.

Great for remote learning and basic productivity

This Pixelbook Go was just the thing I needed for remote learning. All the programs and files I had to download for school were beginning to take a toll on my MacBook Air, so I needed another device that could handle the workload. I was a bit hesitant--as Chromebooks don't exactly have the best reputation--but figured, what the hey! I spent days watching professional and consumer reviews and decided the Pixelbook Go would be the best choice. And boy, I was not let down! This device has the power to handle Google Meet, Docs, Sheets, and Gmail all at once. I never had an issue with the Chromebook getting warm or overwhelmed. There have been a few hiccups with Zoom (mainly when I am in larger lectures), and controls are limited, but it wasn't something to cry over. The camera quality is surprisingly nice; I can see myself just fine in almost any light. You can download Adobe and Microsoft programs through the Play Store, but I would recommend sticking with Google Workspace as much as you can. Also, the screen isn't that bright and has poor viewing angles, so pretty much use it indoors only. Moreover, there were a few issues whenever I had to connect to an external monitor. Again, these cons do not take away from the quality and usability of the device. I plan on keeping this around for as long as possible!

Best overall laptop experience in a Chromebook

I have been using Chromebooks and Chromeboxes for 6 of the 10 years they've been around. I've used higher end (like the 2015 Pixel) and lower end, and some in between. This Pixelbook Go is by far the best overall experience. It's unmatched when it comes to fit and finish. Excellent build quality, meticulous design, terrific speakers, probably the best keyboard I've used.

    Best Chromebook I have used

So let me start by saying I have used a plethora of Chromebooks. The pixelbook go is just hands down the best I have used. I have the m3 version. The screen is the best I have seen on a Chromebook. (I haven't seen the 4K model yet) The build is the best I have seen. Literally no flex, super light, all metal, I dont use the touch screen. (I hate this on all computers. Lol) and I dont mind the laptop not being a 2 in 1 and being more traditional. The keyboard is absolutely amazing. At work I have always connected a wireless keyboard but with this item I find myself using the built in keyboard all the time. The screen quality is top notch. No IPS bleed or glow at all. The brightness is excellent. The 64gb of storage is nice. I would prefer 128gb but that is a 1st world problem these days. I have been just blown away by the performance on this machine. It has not slowed down once for me. I have had at one point 8 tabs in chrome open, microsft word, apple music playing music, and the slack app for work and it did not slow down at all and was still super snappy. I cant stop praising this device amongst my coworkers and family.

Great screen that is a touch screen, amazing front firing speakers, probably the best keyboard I've ever used with great backlighting, combined with an excellent track pad. All this and the very useful Chrome OS and Android Apps to boot Love this computer and my two IPad Pros and Samsung tablets stay in my drawer. Highly recommend!

Yes, it's a very pricey Chromebook, but the big win is it integrates so nicely with other Google services. Used with a Pixel 4, you can use your phone's face recognition to unlock. It's heavily used for Google Earth and is very speedy (faster than our gaming computer!). It is incredibly light weight and the battery lasts all day. It's perfect for a college student that has to be out in class all day.

    Really good hardware for Chromebook

I’ve had issues with reliable connectivity in the past with Chromebooks from a different manufacturer, so I was looking for something more reliable. This Pixelbook Go has served me well in that sense. I can start a VPN and connect to remote servers without any connectivity issues. My guess is that the more reliable connections are because of the hardware. It is a lightweight but sturdy build. Touchscreen is very nice. Keyboard is one of the best I’ve seen on a laptop device. Performance is sufficient for browsing, remote connections, etc...even with a few apps open concurrently. The cost is a bit high for a Chromebook but for me it is a good value given the reliability factor.

LOVE this Chromebook, why didn't I buy it sooner! Its super light weight. Very easy to use, the display is bright and the screen size is more than big enough! Using Google drive to store everything, more than meets my needs. I wish I would have dumped my traditional laptop sooner and bought one of these!

Absolutely LOVE my pixelbook - using it now! It keeps the battery life, easy to use from day one. The keypad is very responsive and will make you want to type more and more - it's better than a mac keyboard! The touch screen also just adds to the ability to maneuver websites in such a functional way.

I like this Pixelbook Go so far...It has good battery life, nice keyboard and in general a solid feel. It's a little more expensive than other Chromebooks so keep that in mind. It was very easy to set this up and get going.

Purchased this for my pre-teen who needed it for virtual learning and for online games. It is awesomely lightweight, very thin and the battery lasts for hours. It charges very quickly too. This cute little laptop is amazing for connecting Google devices as well. My son loves the “hey google” feature.

Lightweight, portable and durable Chromebook. Great for those who are looking for a higher end laptop on the Chromebook platform. Easy to use. The $649 version is more than enough for our family. If you want top of line there is a $1399 version with greater screen resolution, faster processing, and more space.

bought this an open box for a steal! it's so lightweight and gets the basics done the right way. It's a great device for those who are perfectly comfortable using chrome OS. if it's ever on sale, get it. For full price, maybe consider an alternative.

In the beginning the Pixel Chromebook Go was great! We bought it first our 11 year old for school work. Bought in August and after very gentle use by beginning of January the hinge cover cracked at the seam and the hinge popped out. Google refuses to cover it under the limited warranty! Saying that it was consumer damage! When you google it, there are many that have had the same issue. Google still refuses to fix or replace! Be warned!

This Chromebook is very nice. It is very sleek and very stylish. Chromebook doesn't weigh much and it is a very powerful machine. The only thing is the price is too much. There are other Chromebooks that can do similar things for a lower price. Anything that Google makes it's worth it.

I was a little skeptical of how things would go with a Chromebook but after more than a year of use this has been a huge win. Totally replaced my MacBook Pro. The keyboard is the best I've used and I've never had a laptop so thin and light and portable.
