Speciality Shots for those who don't mind post pro

Don't get me wrong what this camera can do is impressive, but don't expect it to be the most friendly turn on and go 360 camera, much less a typical camera. At the original $700 price point I wouldn't of recommend to anyone not making money at video production. Its a speciality tool for speciality shots and if your looking for regular footage go else where. That being said at it's $299 price drop or further sales it's very much worth scooping as a secondary or additional tool to your kit. If you watch reviews and know what you're getting into go for it. If you're looking for your first action cam get a hero black or literally anything else.
This camera is not for the faint of heart and the post production is a process, but the results woth practice can get you some next level shots other camera's just can't do. At $299 it's a good thing early adopters didn't support it at $700

This is not a perfect product yet (CON: getting SD cards in an out is a challenge in itself) but if you are willing to skip the small negatives here and there and look at the quality of the photos that are coming out of this thing you will be very happy. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND limiting your ISO settings to 100 or 200 for photography. Especially for night photos. The camera does a great job working with low light levels. Use the supplied tripod, let it stand completely still and fire away. The quality is there. You just have to go through the slight learning curve and get the best out of this little baby.

The GoPro Fusion is one of those rare cameras that momentarily blow your mind. It will literally take you a second to realize the how and start enjoying the wow. GoPro did release the camera a bit pre-mature but has since resolved all but a few of the issues you may face with innovative technology in cameras like this.
If you are someone who enjoys filming yourself but hates worrying about details of what angles to setup one more more cameras this is the camera for you. With the Fusion you just set it up and worry about framing the shot in post. Truly amazing camera for so many reasons.
The price is high but the return on the quality of shots you get is much much higher. You like GoPro cameras this is likely the one you have been waiting for.

GoPro Max and GoPro fusion dead on the road

The fusion is an exceptional camera but the software has not been updated to the newest of the GoPro Max. If you should cameras highly sensitive because of its oversized battery but it's very essential in a long bike ride. Unfortunately for Garmin doesn't have a signaling rear light radar activated to start the camera. Unfortunately for GoPro their lens are so distorted360 a license plate can't be read. Even the GoPro Max all you hear are motor noises that people going by and not verbal comments. GoPro Max has an improved microphone system which I'll have to consult them but it's better with a specialized microphone. The microphone could always be replaced when loaded with debris or dirt. Thanks to GoPro cyclist will only depend upon one particular model which doesn't record voice harassment call the cyclic. I've used a GoPro Max in most camera phones can capture a license plates better in a group or Max any day cuz of the time it takes to do all the settings and everything not a chance. Whoever did the camera work with GoPro videos must try awful hard.

With recent struggles as a company the GoPro Fusion is a return to form for GoPro in making a quality product. After traveling for a year with a Samsung Gear360 camera but using it with an iPhone, this is a welcome upgrade. Apart from upgrading to a multiple lens custom solution this is the best ProSumer 360 Camera hands down. Stabilization works great, the App works great on iOS( just like on existing single lens GoPros). The offset lens allows for you to erase the support pole in the stitching process which is a great feature for a 2 lens system. This is the only camera on the market that splits the recording of each lens to a separate card. At first I was disappointed to hear this as it sounds like a hastle in real world use. However, this was a great idea, as this means each lens gets more data bitrate versus recording everything to a single card but ending up with 5.2k video. This also means you can buy 2 moderately fast cards versus having to have the latest fastest 4k capable card. Each video ends up being 2.8k30p on each card.

The video quality is really good, but working with it on post-production is not easy, even with Fusion Studio.
Materials don't disappoint, GoPro equipment is sturdy and ready for the hard work.
Price was insanely high at launch but I found it here really cheap.
If you have the time to work on the video to get those amazing shots, go for it. But if you are more like a casual user, look somewhere else.

Love the Camera, and the tripod, they work great and are good quality. The only Issue I have is with this bundle (Lost one star for this). I dont like the editing software, it takes too much time and the software is buggy. It comes with one SD card, and the camera requires two to function. So while this is a nice bundle, it doesn't give you all you need to start shooting video.

I don't think I've used this camera to its full potential yet. It is relatively easy to use as far as taking video is concerned. Where it struggles is with the program needed to stitch your video together (Fusion Studios). Not a very user friendly program and took a few for the program to recognize that my camera was attached (set to auto open program). May adjust score later once I get better at using it but out the box it is pretty simple.

This camera produces the nicest 360 video for a consumer camera, in my opinion. It looks fantastic, and the colors look more natural than the competition. It's compact and durable, although the lenses worry me a bit, as I believe they could scratch. The biggest headache is the software, which can be difficult to work with, even on a capable computer. If you're a techie who is willing to tinker around with this, you'll get an amazing camera.

Camera works well and is fun. If I did it again I would just get a regular GoPro. The software with this can be frustrating. It’s cool though with the 360 filming. Interface on the camera is not the best but useable. I have issues with it loosing charge if it sits without use for awhile.

Amazing Camera, Not ready for Pros

So without getting into the same things everyone is saying about this camera I will just talk about what I wish it could do. As a photographer, I like to have full control over ALL the settings in my cameras. ISO, Aperture, and Shutter speed. This camera does not give me that control. I am surprised because of the fact that some of it's advertised ability's require that control. i.e. timelapse photography. I should be able to lock the ISO to timelapse a sunset or a sunrise, to avoid exposure changes that occur when the sun rises above or falls below the horizon. Unfortunately I can't do that (Yet?) I hope they fix this serious problem. There is an option to set the MAX ISO at 400 or 1600 etc. But this allows the camera to change the ISO during a time-lapse which destroys the exposure. Not being able to lock the shutter speed, same problem. That being said, what it CAN do is amazing. The overcapture is an amazing feature and the quality of the video is superb for 700 bucks. If you just want to record stuff with consistent light, make some amazing 360 videos to watch in your VR, then it's a great camera. Wrapping your head around the "Capture everything" concept takes a minute, but it's very very cool. 4 stars right now, because of the settings options, if they fix that, then 5+

This GoPro fusion is amazing!!! Takes awesome 360 video! My only issue is the software and downloading to a laptop. The software needs to be improved!! It’s difficult and time consuming but the product still delivers! The visuals you get are just insane! I purchased this product when it was on sale saving me $300!! (Reg price $600)

I’ve used this for work already on several occasions, the quality is amazing. One thing i definitely recommend is getting a third party lens cover. You get a good case with it, but when it’s out, between use, or your pulling footage, both lens’s are susceptible to getting scratched since you cant just lay it down.

The camera itself is well built and has great pics but the advertising is very misleading. The biggest issue is support. If you have a newer phone, in this case Samsung S9+, it's not supported. Checked through their support and very few phones are supported. No screen to see what you are recording and requires a phone to sync to. Also requires dual memory cards to operate so make sure to get those at the time of purchase. GoPros support has been near non existent including a lack of knowledge on their own products (ie, not knowing about their own softwares existence) or replies with a cookie cutter "Please continue to check our website for updates." or saying someone is doing it wrong with no information on what to do that is right. Likely going to return this today and pick up something less expensive that has all the same features. Waste of money.

The fusion studio software is straightforward to use for rendering videos. The camera quality is good, but battery life is not so good, so I would suggest buying extra batteries. Also, the camera heats up a little when used for a long time.

Great camera, great quality. Nigh could be improved a bit but that's just due to the editing software. If GoPro improved the software (editing is REAAAAAALLY basic) it would get a 5 star

Pros:
Creates great 360 videos
Good battery life
Includes the supercharger
decent carrying case
Cons:
You will need a very high end laptop to edit the videos
lens cannot be replaced
end of life cycle for the product
requires two memory cards
gopro insurance is an absolute must buy
For the price unless you absolutely have to have 360 videos buy a regular gopro, The quality is the same. I would suggest the max if you really need the 360 videos, it is a much easier to use camera.

I was very happy with my previous GoPro, but the Fusion´s ability to take 360º pictures far surpasses it´s predecessors. The picture quality is excellent. It is even easier to take still photos from video shot than before. I am very glad about this purchase.

Excellent 360 camera with good photo results using the Quik app. Footage also came out steady when doing videos. Seems durable having brought out for a few outings already. Nice tripod stick comes with it. Only downside seems to be the GoPro desktop apps that used to support the camera don't seem to work properly.
