I mainly use this as a “dasm cam”, which its not really intended for, but is perfect for it! looping feature plus an accessible charging port (while in skeleton case) plus a screen navigation that allows you to delete all all files on the camera quickly really makes this thing shine as a “dash cam”!

I switched from the Hero 4 Black to this Hero 5 Session because of its size. I do not need 4K for now but the 2.7K does the job done. Only downsize is battery because it is internal, no option for changing what so ever. Pairing with your smartphone is easy and gives you previews of your recordings. Ideal for traveling or mount on yourself because of its weight. Highly recomendable if you're not into heavy editing of post production.

With the newer GoPro 6 and the standard GoPro 5, I liked this Session because it was lower in price, did what I needed it to, and had the accessories I needed. My one issue is that the cool feature of being able to livestream to my phone doesn't always work so well, and when it does, drains the battery on both the camera and the phone. However, knowing this allows me to avoid using the function unless I absolutely need it.

I bought this for my son's 11th birthday and he absolutely loves it. You need a cell phone or tablet to effectively use this, but the video output is amazing and he loves it. That is all that is important to me. Easy to set up and fun to use!

Recommended by Best Buy sales person. Great camera! GoPro does not have the best documentation, but if you read it enough it makes sense. Great pictures - I videoed dog show Barn Hunt and caught the action and sound for a 32 x 32 show ring, really easy to set up, download, etc.

The camera is great for recording on the go. Has a lot of accessories, unfortunately the camera does get very hot, the battery doesn’t last for more than a couple hours of constant recoding, & the 16GB memory card it comes with only allows enough space to record 720p or 1080p for an hour. Would need to buy at least a 32GB Extreme memory card for 2 hours of recording. Overall it’s a great camera with good quality picture. & worth the money if you have some throw away money.

Awesome camera. Video quality+stabilization is near perfect. Great as an on-body/equipment camera for outdoor activities (esp. snowboarding). Captured awesome action packed footage with this tiny+durable camera.

Camera is easy to use. Required apps are easy to find. Quality of video outpaces price.

I got this camera to upgrade my vlogs to film better views and pov’s. It was small and perfect to hide for pranks lol, sub to my channel “A&J Productions” on YouTube.

The Gopro Hero 5 Session is an excellent camera for carrying anywhere without the bulk of other cameras. It was also a great value.

The wireless setup is a little bit tricky, but the camera is 2nd to none. Love to have the Hero 6 though.

The GoPro is a very cool camera for adventures. Takes a little time to set up, but easy to after that.

I bought this set at BestBuy's Black Friday. Cheapest set with All-included as compared with SAM'S CLUB SALE SET. Also bought a sale item 64G Mini-Memory card @ bestbuy online. Perfect! I used it right away and very easy to start and record everywhere I go. Portable and easy to use.

Great Quality but I gave this a 3 star because: I thought I would like this because of the size. But the battery only lasted about 15 to 20 minutes while using it. Sure it lasted about 2 hours on standby but I bought it to use. I went back the GoPro 5 Black.

Great camera for taking photos be it action and sports. Purchased as a gift for Christmas and they were very pleased with the performance of this camera. also got great deal at only $199.99 with bundle pack.
