Bought this to take on a Caribbean cruise. I got a deal with an extra battery and SIM card. You will need an extra battery for sure. That said, it’s awesome! Terrific picture, videos are great. I didn’t play with enough until I was in the water but even then I could figure it out with ease. And the app! Holy Moses it’s awesome! Highly recommend

I would give it 3-stars but im giving the camera the benefit of the doubt. The mount and attachments are pretty good as i have no complaints about them. Dont expect the stick to give you much height though as shown in the pics. The head mount is pretty legit. Something to keep in mind, that extra battery is an almost necessity. I actually recommend buying even a third one (So this kit will include two batteries incase that wasnt clear. Delivery/pickup times for this kit was literally next day so that was quick and easy. Now with the camera. I use this camera outside. Always remember if you are going to use these cameras while recording 4k at any frame rate, the camera will get very warm. Once it gets warm like it does, the battery dies quickly. Sometimes the camera has been glitchy where it wont turn off unless you hold the power button down for a log time till it eventually forces itself off. It does come with one of the best miniSD cards on the market, just 32GB isnt big enough (especially when recording in 4k) The Telementary data that you can pull up when you extract your video through the GoPro app will sometimes be there and sometimes not, so if your a vehicular or moto vlogger and you care about telementary data, thats something to keep in mind. Sometimes its there, sometimes not. Despite everything i just typed, i still love this, my Hero 7 and my Two hero+ cameras. Id still recommend it as any small issues i currently have with these should be resolved through updates.

Just got these here in Nepal through my brother's channel. I bought the special bundle edition along with other accessories from gopro site. Setup was breeze, felt like a child while doing unboxing. I had also purchased Extreme pro 128gb from Best Buy which is highly recommended if you are shooting 4k. Got a spare battery as well and can't wait to go out. Tested 4k cinematic setup video and it turned out well even in a gloomy weather. This is my first ever GoPro, I had always been fascinated on owning one right from the day when my sister got her hero 5. That little toy was way powerful back then. It's a great addition to cherish memories specially when going on vacation. Last time when I was on vacation, I filmed through my cell phone so can't wait to go out for another holiday. Do get that spare battery and higher storage card.

The Hero8 makes great videos ans well as still images and is easy to use. There are a lot of cool and useful accessories (which i need to save up and buy more), I took a star off due to battery life and i took a star off due to their lack of editing software support for windows. The app for the phone works good but i just got a notification that my free trial expires soon then its $4.99 a month... whats up with that?

This bundle is a great deal for those who are new to the world of GoPro. While it isn’t the latest model, it’s more than enough to capture most of your adventures. 4K video at 60FPS, waterproof up to around 30 FT, 12 Megapixel camera - these core features are my favorite. This thing is incredibly durable, too, and can withstand a lot of damage. The only minor complaint I have is the charge time - it takes me around 2 hours to fully charge this thing. Worth noting: the head mount strap accessory included with this works best if you put it on an actual helmet, not just on top of your head itself. Also, you’ll want to get a Micro SD card larger than the 32 GB one that is included - that will fill up fast with how large 4K video files are. I recommend this if you don’t yet have a GoPro.

I own some higher end DSLR and mirrorless cameras with expensive lenses and was not expecting such good quality video from this little camera. I was pleasantly surprised! The anti shake features also work extremely well and even the sound quality in very good without an external microphone. Overall I can say this thing does it all at a reasonable price. I think the value pack offer is excellent too. I can’t wait to experiment with this in combination with the still shots I get while photographing car racing, which is what I do for a hobby.

Got mine before the 9 and sticking with it for now, I love the removable lens on the 9 but not enough to make me want one when this 8 has most of the features as the 9

Greatest purchase ever. Do not hesitate buy. Purchased to take photos while swimming with the manatees. Got the coolest photos under water. Makes all your photos look professional. I purchased accessories from go pro brand and Walmart brand. Both seem good but the go pro brand is better.

Bought this camera for my wedding and honeymoon. Video and picture quality is outstanding! Was awesome for our snorkeling trips. The voice commands don’t really work though so I knocked a star for it. I like not having a case on it too. Need to plan more fun stuff to video!

Great for flying. Clip it on window and use one's phone to control and record. Wifi or bluetooth upload to your phone or account.,edit it and share. Very simple and compact.

The hypersmooth is awesome when recording, pictures are great with all the different lens settings, highly recommend it. Especially if you travel a lot easy to carry anywhere.

I am avid motorcycle rider and I had ReplayXD I love it, it still works, want to upgrade to this product.. I ordered 256 Micro Memory Card and it can record 10 hours at 1080/60FPS... oh and the picture are sooooo clear!!!! I’m very pleased with it!

I bought the bundle on Black Friday and was so excited about it because this was my first GoPro. I used it to shoot 4K video at 30fps and found that the battery drained so fast and heated up so bad that it shut down the GoPro when it was at about 38 mins into the shooting. I couldn’t believe it so I did several battery drain tests using different batteries. Same result! Before the battery completely drained GoPro shut down for more than 10 times! You can find all my battery drain tests in my YouTube Channel HKG4K. Returned the bundle one week after. It makes no sense to spend almost $400 dollars that cannot shoot 4K video for more than 40mins. I would give zero star if I could. I guess this one star is for the BestBuy staffs who were very helpful during the return process.

My 14 year old grandson loves to go metal detecting. So he wanted a go pro for his birthday...he Loves it!!!!
