The gimbal works really well when held by hand. When attached to a camera mount, the weight of the batteries in the handle causes the camera to change position when jostled. This ‘battery remote’ solves the problem and moves the heavy battery away from the gimbal. Excellent for wearable, bike, skateboard, helmet or whatever mounts. A great addition for the Karma grip.

The extension makes for better alternatives to mount the GoPro. The gimble is terrific for smooth footage when using as a hand held. I use the extension so I can mount this to the GoPro Seeker backpack and get footage while mountain biking. None of the gear gets in the way while riding.

Could be a little slimmer but I think it does a good job of extending the karma grip

Bought this to be able to better mount my Karma Grip to my Chesty mount. This prevents the long handle from sitting awkwardly while mountain biking.

This karma grip cable is a must have accessory to allow you to attach your karma grip to a pole, helmet and any other mount from GoPro that will not require anymore bulkiness.

I love the "Grip" but sometime the entire unit got in the way. With this extension it makes the "foot print" much smaller. Plus the camera can be mounted on the gimbal and makes the controls much easier to use in some situations. The Grip and this option make my movies look "professionally shot". The Grip and extension are as much as the camera, but if you are looking for professional looking video, these items will be a huge help. Would buy them again.

Too heavy to wear in a helmet but it do the work to have hands free.

Bought this to use with my GoPro Karma grip and Hero 5 Black, that came with my Karma drone. Easy to set up and use, just plug and play. I am glad I pre-ordered this because it has been sold out since it was first released.

I bought this to add more versatility for my karma grip. It allows you to mount gimble very different ways and still keep that stability.

this item is great the only problem I mostly get is when I attached it my GoPro seeker its always moving side way and falling and make sure you get a remote to turn it on. you don't want to keep reaching out your hand to get the stabilizer and press the recorded botton all the time (while your stabilizer is already attached to you bag or seeker

Finally they did something practical. This extension is comfortable to use
