Put the surfboard mount on my wakeboard last night, seemed very sturdy with easy installation. It seems like it will be stuck there forever. Only time will tell, going to test it out this weekend. Have it a 4 star only because I haven't actually tested it in the water.

Decided to go with this because of the adhesive mounts and the theter for safe mounting

This is a good mount but I would warn surfers to make sure the entirety of the adhesive is fixed to the board and also make sure to get the floaty.

You get two for the price and easy to mount. We had one for each board.

Mount your GoPro to surfboards, kayaks, SUPs, boat decks or other gear where maximum holding strength is needed. Includes an FCS compatible male plug to mount your GoPro using an FCS center fin socket. I use it on my kayak - its perfect.

It fits on the surfboard very well and although I was scared of it falling off due to a wipeout it hasn't! I am not sure if it would hold up well on a foam board though

This optional mount package must be purchased in addition to the GoPro in order to attach your camera to any FRC mount on products such as YOLO stand up paddle boards. Additional cost but the adhesive mount and tether work awesome and ensure your camera doesn't end up in the bottom of the drink.

These work great on my surfboard. Been thru some head high waves, and spills with no worries of coming off.

I bought these to use at a surf school, but they didn't let us use them as they said they fall of the boards. They recommended a body or wrist strap instead. I plan on keeping them to use in the future.

This will be going on a Grain wooden surfboard next month. While not as large as the fisrst-gen version, these look like they will provide sufficient contact surface for a secure grip in heavy surf.

well worth the money. these things are like fins for the boards. need these at all times for mounting.
