Does exactly what you need it to do. Tops out at about 13-16 mph. Batter lasts a long while and charges at a pretty good rate. It’s honestly amazing and smooth.

With a 15-mile max range, the GoTrax Flex Voyager is a fun electric scooter for small trips and riding around the neighborhood. The scooter comes partially assembled from the box. It took me little under an hour to get the scooter out of the box and charging. All tools are provided, and the instructions were clear and straightforward. Both 14-inch tires came already inflated with air at the recommended 36 psi. There is also an adapter included to make it easier to inflate the tires. Scooter clocks in at 61 pounds and is solidly built. As well, it folds for more compact storage or to fit in the trunk of a car. It also sports a large, height adjustable cushioned seat and coilover suspension over the rear wheel. The spring rate is easily adjustable by hand to change the suspension stiffness, yet I found the stock suspension tuning to be just right. Other features of the scooter include a metal basket on the rear, a kickstand, and fenders. I found the basket particularly cool and is a nice touch. In my testing, I drove through shallow water and mud, and nothing flung from the tires due to the fenders. In the rear wheel, a 350-watt electric motor propels the scooter to 16 mph. On a full charge the scooter accelerates smoothly; however, it does not perform well offroad or on steep hills. One thing to note is that once the battery is mostly drained the motor loses power considerably. The scooter also comes with 2 keys which can be turned to 2 positions: run and light. In the latter position, the front LED headlight and rear taillight are illuminated. The headlight’s angle is adjustable by hand and is moderately bright. Additionally, the taillight flashes when the brakes are applied. The headlight works in a decently lit environment, but I would not ride this scooter in pitch darkness. From the box, the lithium-ion battery showed to be almost fully charged, yet I charged it the remainder of the way per the instructions. Full battery charging time is marketed to be 6 hours. In my testing, the scooter seems to use a form of regenerative braking which charges the battery slightly as it decelerates. Brakes don’t seem to be disk brakes and they do not lock up the wheels on paved ground. Nonetheless, the brakes are adjusted well from the factory and the scooter stops briskly. Overall, the GoTrax Flex Voyager is a good electric scooter for Campus Life, cruising the beach, neighborhood cruising, along with quick fun trips to store.

We decided this bike was a good fit as an alternative to our golf cart, and it sure is. We have a family of 4, so its nice to have another option to cruise around our neighborhood. The assembly was pretty easy, takes maybe 10-15 minutes tops to put it together. I set it up in the evening and hooked up the charger overnight to make sure the first trial had a full battery. One of the nice things is that it can be used for kids or adults. It supports up to 260ish lbs but if you’re that big it probably won’t be a comfortable ride for you. I’m a 5’10 185lbs man, and it felt a bit small to me at first, but I have been enjoying it. I was able to get 16mph on it at my size, I’m sure kids will be able to get closer to the 20mph. Compared to the golf cart which goes faster, it feels like the scooter is actually faster and has a more fun/exciting aspect to it. Knowing the price of golf carts and other “sport” vehicles, this is actually a pretty good deal IMO. The scooter has a quality feel to it and looks pretty nice. I really like how it has a headlight and brake light for better night visibility. The suspension is adjustable which is nice and the basket is a convenient addition for storage or adding a small portable speaker. I also like the battery indicator on it. The brakes on it feel high quality and are quite responsive. The battery takes about 5.5 hours to do a full charge which isn’t bad, I’m assuming that is from completely empty. The one thing I would change about the design of this bike (if its possible), is to make the battery removeable. I’m sure they had their reasons for not doing it, but it would be nice to have a spare battery available when the main one gets low and just do a quick swap. My experience with range has so far been pretty good, so far I’ve gone close to 9 miles on the scooter in one trip and with only 1 green bar switching on and off on the battery meter, there are 3 green bars total. All-in-all I think it’s a fun vehicle to have, especially since its made for all ages (technically 13+). We may look at getting a second one because of the value of it, and a 2 year warranty is nice. While I do like the headlight and brake lights very much it does appear the headlight is not adjustable and seems to be pointed or reflected up quite high into the trees. It doesn’t provide much light for the road, but can act as a signal for oncoming vehicles, but I would not attempt to ride this in the dark where traffic may be. I also think this would be a great commuter vehicle if you live in the city and there is space for bike travel. It has the option to fold up for easy transportation too.

Works well while moving on avg. Mine had a fault however that was dangerous. the spring on the throttle handle was turned. It would click and snap into the handle. It caused me to get ran over by the scooter and damages.

Easy to assemble and so fun to ride

The Flex Voyager scooter was easy to assemble, taking roughly 15 minutes from unboxing to full assembly. The only tools required were a wrench and hex key, both of which are included. The scooter ships mostly assembled, so I only had to attach the steering post, seat and basket. The Voyager utilizes a key start system with two keys included. It also sports two hand brakes, pneumatic shocks, front and rear LED lights (also activated via key turn), and a rear basket. I was concerned about the aesthetics of the basket at first, but it didn’t look bad after assembly and has proven to be quite useful. I carry a few small lightweight bungee cords to keep items inside the basket secure during movement. The scooter accelerates by twisting the throttle on right hand grip. The battery indicator is on the same grip and is bright and easily spottable during riding. Both the acceleration and speed caught me by surprise. No rolling start is required to activate and it accelerates briskly. Top speeds feel like they’re hitting specs or even occasionally above. It supposedly tops out at 15 mph but sometimes feels faster. Hills and inclines affect performance, but not drastically unless really steep. I don’t feel any noticeable struggling on the small gradually rolling hills in my area. The Voyager has good balance and handling during riding and never feels unsteady or wobbly. The steering feels reassuringly responsive and the scooter is easy to handle and store even while powered off. The front and rear LED lights are bright and provide good visibility at night. Other perks include a strong well-balanced kickstand for parking, good battery life, and the keyed start system provides a tiny bit more theft resistance when out. In addition to recreational riding on nearby (paved) park trails, the Voyager is convenient for short jaunts to nearby stores and restaurants within a mile or two of my home. I have a ton of fun zipping around my neighborhood on this gem.

Received the GoTrax - FLEX VOYAGER Electric Scooter a few days ago and couldn’t wait to take it for a spin. I saw the delivery guy try to walk the big box across my lawn, so I ran out to give him a hand all the way to the garage. It came well packed, practically double boxed, with all the right packing material. The scooter is a bit on the heavy side, weighing just over 60lbs. Assembly was very easy, all the tools needed came with it. They also include a 6” extension tube to help inflate the tires. I did not need to use it because the tires were already fully inflated. First thing I did after removing all the packing material was to plug in the charger so the battery can get some juice ASAP, since it takes at least 4 hours to fully charge. Assembling the big cushion, comfortable seat was probably the most involved but still easy. I had to tighten it more after trying it in the driveway because it was turning under load. Make sure the handle bar is also angled and tightened properly for a safe and comfortable ride. Once the battery was fully charged, I put my bicycle helmet on and took it for a spin around the neighborhood. The seat was comfortable, barely feeling any bumps thanks to the rear suspension and seat springs. Acceleration is smooth, not violent. My street has a bit of an incline, so I averaged 11.5mph, but managed a top speed of 17.6mph while going down hill a bit. There seems to be some regenerative braking, especially when you use the rear break. Stopping power is good with both front and rear brakes, and especially if you let off the throttle. The weather wasn’t suitable for me to ride it long enough to drain the battery, but for the couple of miles I rode, the green LED gauge did not even go down a line, so the 15 mile range seems doable, depending on terrain and overall weight of the rider. Very useful accessories preinstalled - fenders to prevent water/debris kick-up; front and rear LED lamps that can be turned on and off, classic bicycle bell and easy to install rear storage basket is also included. All in all, this is a solid built electric scooter, easy to ride and comes with a 2-year warranty which is better than most other e-scooters at this price point.

This scooter is a lot of fun with a very smooth enjoyable ride. It’s easy to operate and has a key for security. Comes with good features such as disc brakes, lights, and a basket. It’s perfect for short trips. It can handle moderate hills, but not steep ones. Milage seems accurate. Only drawbacks are lack of speedometer, battery is not removable (or at least not easily), and is relatively heavy. Build and Setup • Easy to set up. Everything goes together like Legos. Solid and well thought out design. • Comfortable seat, good tires, adjustable suspension, quality components. • Disc brakes work well. You can also adjust them. Performance • Good acceleration. Holds top speed on flats easily and smoothly. • Excellent for shorter trips. (school, work (if close), pool, to get the mail, close errands, friend’s house.) • 350-watt motor performs acceptably on moderate small hills. Was able to get up my 45 degree driveway. • Mileage seems accurate. • Good weight limit. I think they say 265 lbs. I’m 212 lbs. without any issues. Appearance and Features • Attractive overall look • Front headlight and taillight for visibility • Small basket and kickstand. Kickstand works well. • Key to turn on/off scooter and control lights. Along for security. Issues • Probably a no go on steep hills (don’t have any to test). • No speedometer. Which is an odd choice. • Charging port on the bottom, battery not removable. Likely for security. • Not lightweight which can make charging difficult. But also helps from theft.
