Gran turismo has been the best race simulator since it's beginning. The only downside to GT sport is that you must unlock campaign mode by doing all of the driver challenges and training. This amounts to several hours of boring meaningless tasks even for a seasoned player. The graphics and options are amazing though.

This game is amazing for gameplay and graphics. The features are way different from previous versions (car modifications for instance) but overall it's a very good game. DO NOT BUY IT IF YOU DON'T HAVE AN INTERNET CONNECTION. Without an internet connection there are only three or four tracks you can trace on.

I'd give this game 5 stars, but unfortunately it's anemic on content. That being said, as fan of GT since the beginning GT Sport without a doubt has the best gameplay of the series. It's also beautiful. Once they add more content it will be a real gem.

GT is a visually stunning game. The days of playing solo are gone. You are now forced to play online with races starting every 5-15 minutes based on your class. Its a bit annoying to have players purposely crash in to you but the game is still fun.

The gameplay is great, cars handle well and look great. Content wise the game is lacking and not that many cars right now. The online racing needs more choices, too much time between races.

Alright, lets see. Huge selection of vehicles...Check. Incredible detail...Check. Beautiful courses...Check. Great contols...Check! VR Mode....better have a broom close by because your mind is about to be BLOWN!!!! Add a Wheel peripheral and maybe a racing style game chair and you'll never come out, lol.

Minus a few flaws like less cars than its predecessor, a good return for GT. Always online was main problem but since it's getting a single player update soon and multiple free car updates, not too much to complain about.

The graphics as always in this series are the best that they can be, the photo mode is the the best it’s ever been with so many locations to choose from. What I don’t care for is the new format. There used to be arcade mode, simulation mode and the license challenges. There’s basically no simulation mode where you start with regular cars and work your way up to better cars and you can’t buy performance upgrades to the extent that you could before. The focus is too much on online play which you have to be a PS+ member to play so that’s useless to me. At this point I really wish Forza was available on the PS4. Ugh.

Gran Turismo Sport is a very fun racing simulator. There may not be thousands of cars (200 additional cats will be added in future DLCs), but it's highly addictive and competitive. Be aware this is an online based game.

Eh, that may be pushing it. With Project Cars 2 out, and Forza 7, racing fans have a LOT to be excited about this fall. So here we all, Gran Turismo Sport, the next entry in the franchise that legitimized a more sim racing feel for the masses. Mostly, everything you love about GT of past is here. There are your license challenges, Rally is back (Yay!) and an arcade mode as well. The meat of the game however is in online mode. The career itself has been transformed into more of an online let's all do this together kind of thing. You no longer purchase a MX5 and build up from there, instead you're thrown right into the GT cars. It's a mix up of the formula to be sure. Some people will not enjoy that, some will. I highly suggest checking out some professional reviews to get the full scoop first. For me, I love it and I'm giving it 5 stars. Looks great, feels great, and plays great. But them I'm a huge fan of racing games.

Obviously, this will be compared to other recent racing simulators like IRacing, Project Cars 2, and Forza Motorsport 7, but GT Sport is an e-Sport focused racing simulator that really puts emphasis on online competition. There are modes where you can race against AI and get some much needed practice before tackling racing online. GT Sport does not provide the robust car line-up in previous iterations, but more of the cars you'd want to race with in various different classes. With the lowered car count the developers focused on details for the game when it came to car graphics and background graphics it is all finely tuned. I say that this is better than Forza Motorsport 7 and it is a great racing game for the PS4 system.

Graphics and control of this game are good, haven't gotten too deep into the game environment as of yet, but the good thing is they take you through a lot of training before just putting you out there.

If you are looking for a review on the specs of Gran Turismo Sport, this is not the review for you. But if you just want to know if the game is worth buying, I will say "Yes" if you love the Gran Turismo games of the past. Of course the graphics are outstanding, and it works for this "Not so Great" video game player. I've played earlier versions of Gran Turismo on the PS3 with my son, who can out drive me any day on the video games, and this new version continues to please. The graphics look great on the PS4 Slim, and the action is as smooth as ever. I have been driving the cars in the game, using the controller's motion sensors to use the controller as a virtual steering wheel, which has helped me improve my driving without having to invest in a steering wheel unit yet. I'm still in the early stages of the game, but it is definitely one of my favorites.

The game itself is true to gran Turismo fashion, great detail on vehicles but game feels a bit slower than forza 7 and very meager on car selection. VR is cool but only good for a short time

I have been a long time GT fan. From the very first game on the ps1 I was hooked. I purchased a PS4 over 2 years ago when I heard this game was coming out. Ever so slowly the release date came up and I couldn’t wait any longer. GT went from an involving career mode game with realistic driving and challenging milestones to a online only for almost all game functions. I understand online is where some games are trending but this was a horrible buying experience and I was even more disappointed when I found out Best Buy wouldn’t let me return it for another more enjoyable game. The graphics are great, the cars are awesome. As a GT fan I’m a little disappointed that customizing cars performance is no longer an option. But the lack of a offline career mode with IA opponents really got to my last nerve. So I have a $80 game that I have to have the PS4 online subscription of $60 a year to play a less entertaining version of the game I used to love. Graphics and interface are amazing. 10/10...I give it 10 out of 5 stars in that department. But half the fun of GT was starting with a basic car and doing races over and over to earn enough money to buy the part you needed to win the next milestone race in career mode. This game will be collecting dust.

Awesome graphics, great, realistic racing physics. If you like to race online vs other players, this is a must buy. If you are playing solo though it may not have enough content for some.

Gts looks amazing loads fast and plays great. Lack of cars,and races that you can just get into easy is a big disappointment. Waiting 20 min. For race to start not my idea of fun.

The visuals in the game are beautiful ... the controls are easy to use and highly customizable ... gameplay is similar to previous games in the series but still just as fun as it has ever been. I am very happy I purchased this game.

I dont play many games at my age (38). Play the occasional Nintendo 1st party titles (for myself & with the kids) and also Battlefield series. Always loved GT series and this game is no different. I own all 3 major systems, but never buy Forza as its very "arcades" like n=how Madden is arcades compared to NFL 2k series. GT is a good game. I bought a Thrustmaster T300 and Wheel Stand Pro to go along with it and works flawlessly. I'll get a PSVR around Black Friday and hopefully GT updates so online mode can be used with PSVR too. Highly recommend for any racing/car person out there.

The graphics are amazing on a4k hdr capable tv. Overall very happy with the game, however, the number of cars and single player campaign are a bit lacking.
